is was an entertaining, exciting read for me. And, yes, I got excited to see Gavin Gayle’s name pop up and then the man himself make an appearance at the end. I’m quite enjoying this corner of the book world.
I love the stylistic writing of Neil Christiansen. It’s artsy, poetic, gripping, and helps create the atmosphere in such an intense manner that you’re just sucked into the story.

Easy to read. The style flows. Love the Malcom Karma bits. Tone shift sort of threw me. The beginning bit in chapter 14 was not a fan of that description. There is a lovely twist with one of the characters.
