I love Michaela’s poetry and her newest collection is no exception! Powerful, moving, and wonderful, I devoured this in one night and am looking forward to a reread when the mood strikes.
If you like powerful, emotional poetry that makes you think and feel I highly recommend you check this book (and her other poetry as well!) out!
A beautiful quick read reflecting on the strength hellos and goodbyes take out of us, and where that strength comes from. The whole thing is imbued with a sense of wonder.
"But if you wonder, You're scrawled in my books, universes, planets, realms, dreams and such silly, awful little things like this Poem."
It was fine. Not my style of poetry and felt like it remained scraping the surface of a lot of ideas, but I'd definitely be interested to try more of the author's work in the future.
