I definitely want to read what the author has in store for her next. Things aren't adding up and there is so much to try and unravel. Still liked most of the story even with the confusion

This book was well written and I was just hanging to find out how all the hidden truths would come out.

All I have to say is…. Genevieve THE END OF RUINED…Ruined me!!!! Like WTF! That was the worst cliff hanger so far. And I NEED to know EVERYTHING NOW! Bring on Lotus Elite!

This is a good 5 star Novella, St. Valentine University series. 10 stand-alone Novellas 10 different Indie authors. This 1 though holy smokes, it starts off good with Zovalee and Ezran, then things take a huge left than a right F***3d up off road turn. 😳 Totally mind blowing, didn't see a few of the events happening for sure, like Wowza, definitely gonna need to catch the next book cause I'm gonna need the rest of this crazy story 😜 Loved the storyline and the writing.

Ruined Valentine was such a wild ride, and I was not ready for it, and I am honestly still searching for answers to questions that I still have. Genevieve Ami Moon did such an amazing job writing this book and the suspense, plot with a bit of mystery to all the characters you are hooked without even realizing it.

Zova is so much stronger then she ever realized and she is defiant and she's not afraid to defend herself, and she is really very cautious yet she has the curiosity of a cat who wants to know everything and can't wait to know more and know it all.

From page one, I just wanted to know as much as I could about her, her family, but more than that, I wanted to know about her past. You know that she's running from something or someone and you get all these clues and hints and small glimpses about what's really going on, but there is all this information that is missing and even now there is so much that I want to know about her. Then there is her relationship with Ezran, you know that it is complicated, and that is the understatement of the year. There are these high highs and then the lowest of lows, but the ending and the way that things ended between Ezran and Zova, it left my jaw hanging open.

Now, as I have read the previous books in this series, I have been reading St. Valentine's since book 1, so I kind of had an idea of how Ezran's story was going to go. But, actually getting the chance to read about it as it actually happened, that was totally different, and I didn't see some of the twists and turns coming.

Yes, Ezran is rough around the edges, but at the same time, he does have his soft side. He is protective, and he is possessive of Zova. And that side of him, I really enjoyed reading, and it was nice to get the chance to see just how complex his character really was. And this was all while he was dealing with his father and the initiation. He's on a mission that he's been assigned to. He never saw that way his mission was going to go and the path it would take him, and I never saw it either.

And then we have this T...I WANT and NEED more. I am so addicted to this series, the mysteries, and all the questions that come with it. I love it so much, and I just can't wait to learn more when I start the next book.

I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of this book, really a lot of this series so far. I can't wait to get answers to my questions in the next books, and I can't wait to see what happens next. I've just been devouring these books. I absolutely loved this book, and I would definitely recommend this book and this entire series.

Ruined Valentine was an absolutely wild ride! I am still reeling from this book in all honesty, and I need all the answers right now 😫 This was a very well written book with such a suspenseful plot and an air of mystery to the characters that will have you hooked right from the prologue 💚

Where do I even start with Zova?? She is strong minded, defiant, isn’t afraid to stick up for herself, and also someone who is cautious, yet curious. From the first few pages of this book, I was dying to know and find out more about her and her past 🖤 She’s trying to run from something, and there were so many hints & clues about her that shared little glimpses about what’s going on, but there is still so, so, so much to learn about her. Her relationship with Ezran is complicated to say the least! There were ups & downs, but the way things ended between the two of them left my jaw on the ground!!!

I knew how Ezran’s story was going to play out from the previous books in the series, but being able to read about it when it happened was truly something else, and I never would’ve seen what happened coming! 😦 He was rough around the edges, but seemed to have a soft, protective, and also a possessive side for Zova which was enjoyable to read and to see the complexity of his character. While dealing with his father and the upcoming initiation, he has a mission he was assigned to do. Just like him, I never saw his mission taking him in the direction it did!!

And then T… All I’ll say is that I need more so badly!! Just another addition to the many mysteries and questions from this book, and I am dying to find out more in the next book 🫣

Listen. Waiting for my questions to be answered and the mysteries to unravel in the next book is going to be torturous!! This had me on the edge of my seat and frantically turning the pages to know more, and I absolutely devoured it. It felt like I was getting whiplash from how many times the story took a turn I never saw coming!! I think my mouth was open in shock for the entirety of the last few chapters 😱 It was well written, flowed at a nice pace, and gave so many clues & hints that left me hungry for more! This was an amazing read, and I will be eagerly awaiting the next book while trying to wrap my head around everything that happened in this one! This is definitely a book that is going to stay in my mind for awhile 🖤💚

The book is written in first person. This book has multiple point of views: Zovalee, Ezran, and Truce. Zovalee ran away from home and is attending the school, making a close friend names Sydney (book three). She is dating Ezran, who plays hockey at the school and is also a part of the cult. Truce bullied Zovalee in high school, but swore to keep her safe from an unknown enemy.

I gave this book four stars. The reason behind that is due to the fact it isn't a full story, and the author said it will be continued in the future. Since it is a part of this series, I feel like the book should've been completed. It does end on a major cliffhanger, and I will have to continue to see how this author goes with this one because it may actually make sense.

Ruined Valentine is a gripping, dark romance that pulls you into the eerie, secret-laden world of St. Valentine's University. From the moment I started reading, I was hooked by the tension, the mystery, and the undeniable chemistry between Zovalee and Ezran.

Zovalee is a sorority girl with a past she’s desperate to outrun, while Ezran is a hockey player carrying secrets that could destroy everything he holds dear. Their relationship is filled with passion, angst, and so much back-and-forth that I found myself frustrated with both of them at times—but in the best way possible. I wanted more depth to their relationship, more moments where they truly connected rather than just clashing.

🔥 Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (Medium-High Heat) 🔥
The chemistry between Zovalee and Ezran is intense, with a mix of emotional tension and steamy moments. The heat is definitely there, but I found myself wanting even more of their connection to balance out the darker themes.

While I enjoyed the dark academia vibes and the way the story wove in secret societies and chilling truths, I really wish this book had come earlier in the series. There were moments that felt like they would have made more sense with better context, and I needed that clarity to fully immerse myself in the story. Also, be warned—it ends on a cliffhanger! I wasn’t ready for it to just stop, and now I’m desperate for more.

If you love dark romance with an edge of mystery and characters that drive you crazy (but you can’t help but root for), Ruined Valentine is definitely worth the read. Just be prepared to want more of Zovalee and Ezran’s complicated, intense love story.

Would I recommend it? Yes. But I’d also suggest reading it in an order that helps everything click into place!

I have to say that I have been waiting for this story of Ezran and Zovalee. The cliffhanger from Savage Valentine by Alena Jane left so many questions.

This was one couple that I was rooting for. Unfortunately, in Savage Valentine, I learned about one of their fates. In this book it explains how it all happens. I have to say that I was not ready for finding out the truth.

This story also brings up so many questions too. Who is Zovalee? That was the number one question going through my mind the whole time reading this book. Who is the Lotus Elite? Who is the girl that Ezran is looking for? Who is stalking Zovalee?

I will say that the maze scene had me in a chokehold, too. The things that were done to Zovalee's body had me 💧💧💧. I had to put the book down to go take a shower to cleanse myself after that scene. 🥵🥵🥵

My heart did break 💔 for both Ezran and Zovalee in Chapter 10. I have to say that I did not see that coming. I almost threw my Kindle across the room. I definitely was using foul language a lot.

Now, I will give Genevieve Ami Moon around of applause 👏👏👏 for that cliffhanger. That twist was genius. I am craving more. I can't wait for Lotus Elite to learn what happens. So, adding to my ever growning TBR bucket.

Summary-
Zova is on the run and comes to St. Valentine. Her beau, Ezran is seemingly obsessed with her. What will happen when Ezran's father gives him a mission as a member of the St. Valentine's cult and it may involve his lady love?

My Opinion-
So if you read any of the previous books you probably recognize these characters. I was obsessed with trying to figure out what the hell happened to these two characters when Ez's body was found behind the rink. I mean holy $%#%! This book had me looking for the next one because i need to know how Zovas story continues. Im all for obsessive beaus but Ez pissed me off at the end and yo, he deserved everything T gave him. But really more needed to be done. I need to know more about St. Tomas and what the heck is the beef between them and St. Valentine. I need Zova's new beaus to be protectively obsessed with her not murder-y obsessed with her. She deserves the world. Cant wait to read more! Will be reading all of Moon's books as i wait (not) patiently.

I was so happy when I opened this one to find out it was Zova and Ezran story. I wanted to know more about these 2 after reading about them in one of the earlier books.

I did actually like the 2 of them together. I would have loved to have know what she was hiding and why she was running. That confused me just a little bit but then if they had told me straight away it wouldn't have kept me reading.
I got that he was part of the St Valentine secret society thing but I could figure out what the deal was with the girl that Ezran was assigned to find and kill. I get that it's obviously a secret that the society wants to keep and I'll be honest I did have a feeling it was going to be Zova early on.

I didn't like that Ezran was supposed to love Zova but wasn't willing to stand up to his dad for her.

I would have loved to have know the actual story behind Zova but I'll assume we will find out more in the next book. I also really hope that Truce is okay as he does seem to really like her and that cliff-hanger is going to annoy me.

I did liked the story and the writing style made it a quick read. I can see me looking for Genevieve other books.

Honestly wish I hadn't finished this book.

I wanted to know how it was going to end, but the ending gave me no answers.

Unfortunately, it felt like we were being spoon-fed the story, not experiencing it. For me it was mostly telling and very little showing and honestly the only reason I kept reading was I thought the ending might pay off, but it didn't.

The story felt rushed and not at all fleshed out. It was both too long and too short. There were too many things going on and it felt like none of them were being finished. So much happened in this book for nothing to really have happened. Almost like this story was a contradiction of itself.

And by the end I felt like I knew even less than I knew at the beginning because things kept popping up that had me asking questions, but then we would get no answers.

I liked the characters and their motivations, but I felt like I got to see very little of that. And we were introduced to new characters in the last 20 pages and didn't even get to find out who theyw ere or why they were there.

I just wanted more from the story.

The Valentine Series is getting darker and addictive. Ruined Valentine has so many twists and turns that had me saying WTF just happened...

I have too many questions, and I can't wait for the next book from Genevieve to find out. This story is about Zovalee and all the dark secrets that find her. She is adopted and is promised to be married to someone who she can't stand. She has to follow her parents' orders and demands and go to a school she doesn't want to go to.

Zovalee gets away, she ends up at the University and starts to discover things that bring her danger. She feels like someone is watching her.

She is dating Ezran, who is destined to be in the Divine and is promised to someone else. He is sent out on a mission to find a girl who was hidden at birth. Her family is considered the enemy. If he can't find her, he will be 💀.

There is a very dark turn in their relationship, and it will leave who speechless. The epilogue left me stunned and craving for more. What a cliffhanger 😳 this story was so good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ruined Valentine is the sixth installment in the St Valentines multi-author, shared world series. I highly recommend reading these in order, especially with this one. Each book is about a different set of main characters, with the majority of the books share a larger plot. This is a super quick read with lots of triggers and dark spicy subject matter.
At first I wasn't very excited about reading this, one of the previous books in the series has a bit of a spoiler for this book, so I thought I knew how this was going to go. I could have not been more wrong! This was my favorite of the series thus far. Zovalee and Ezran's story was definitely a rollercoaster ride, each plot twist bringing more suspense and intrigue. I couldn't get enough, absolutely did not get enough with this story. From the few new pieces of the SVU puzzle this installment gave us, to the major cliffhanger of an ending, I am left feeling edged, unsatisfied, and thrilled.
I loved the chemistry and drama this quick, dark romance read gave.

This book is apart of the St. Valentines series! They are a collection of Valentines themed short stories. You get to follow Zovalle, Ezran and and..... someone else lol I will say these stories are nothing of what I thought they would be, but are soooo entertaining.  Zova is trying to get away from her rightful duties. Ezran is tasked with a mission. Both are keeping secrets, the question is how big will the fallout be once everything is exposed. I am a sucker for a good plot twist in a story and this one is definitely not what i was expecting. This story would have made a good full length book, I would have loved a little more of the inbetween Zova and Ezran and definitely more about the someone else! If you are looking for a dark, intense and not your typical Valentines Day short story this is definitely for you! Please check trigger warnings before reading. This book may have topics that may be hard to read for some.

This is the 6th book in St Valentines world. All these books are novellas. They end in cliffhangers / open ended so that the story can continue. Most of these BETTER continue because they could become really good!
Zovalee is running from her past well she’s running from getting married to a guy she doesn’t want. Ezran is apart of the secret society that’s linked to the school. Ezran finds out that Zovalee is his target for the society and he goes to kill her. Truce (her soon to be husband) saves her and slices Ezrans throat. They’re on their way back home whenever someone pops up from the back seat and drugs Truce. Ends on a cliffhanger. I really hope this turns into more and becomes an RH!! Zain. Kreed. Truce.

This is book 6 of the ST Valentine books this is about Zovalee a sorority girl who is adopted. Then there's Ezran a hockey player that seems to have a very controlling dad who just wants his son to do as he says he seems and it seems ezran has to always make excuses to zova about what he's up to when it comes to his dad. Zova see to have alot of hidden secrets aswell about her past. There is also Truce and the others are part of a legacy that zova was accepted to and zova hates truce and the others as they tortured her. Zova keeps getting Polaroids dropped for her about people called lina and valentina st tomas but she doesn't know why which keeps intriguing her. Ezran has a fiance on top of having zova as a gf which makes things more confusing and intriguing and he's supposed to sacrifice zova this book does end on a cliff hanger

WTF did I just read?! 😳

Ruined Valentine was a fast-paced, wild ride that had me completely hooked! I couldn’t stop listening to the audiobook. This novella was packed with twists, dark secrets, and plenty of moments that had me sitting there thinking, WHAT?!

And that cliffhanger?! I NEED to know what happens next! I have so many questions, and I’m definitely looking forward to Lotus Elite to hopefully get some answers.

🎧 Sierra Kline and Jameson Greene did a fantastic job narrating and really made this an immersive listening experience.

If you enjoy dark romance, hockey romance, secret societies, psychological thrillers, and plenty of twists, definitely give this one a try! Highly recommend! Just be sure to check the trigger/content warnings before reading.
