The original World In My Eyes, released in 2017, became an instant sensation. Now World In My Eyes has returned with an expanded edition, over two hundred more pages with more chapters, more stories, and over a hundred never-before-seen photographs. Journey with me again across Europe and to America, as we party in the wild discos of the 70s and ride the New Wave of the 80s, all to a backbeat of music, sex, love, and sadly, loss. In this expanded edition I answer many of the questions I’ve been asked since the original release of WIME in 2017. Nothing is held back, so get comfortable and let me take you on a trip.
Richard Blade's autobiography, telling his life story from his birth to ~2001. There are definitely some interesting and amusing stories about his life and interactions with various musicians that I learned in there. While it was the expanded edition, the abrupt stop was a bit jarring. I was expecting the book to cover more of Richard's later life, including his time on Satellite Radio, though there may be contractual obligations that prevent him from discussing those times until he quits/retires. I would have preferred a shorter book in that case, especially if a part II is in the works to cover the rest. Spread the good bits around!
There's also some superficial factual errors in the book. I don't think they'll detract for most readers, but did for me.
