This story weaves the lives of the Pearson ancestors into the tapestry of their surrounding environment and the historical times they lived in. It begins its captivating journey in the aftermath of the last ice age, around 10,000 BC, exploring the dawn of prehistoric times. From there, it propels us forward to the emergence of our first documented Pearson namesake ancestor Robert Pierson/Pearson (b1577) and his son Lawrence Pearson (b1620) in Wilmslow, England. We then embark on a riveting narrative that follows Lawrence’s son footsteps as Thomas Pearson (b1653) and his family ventures across the Atlantic Ocean to Philadelphia, America in 1683, forging a new path in the unfamiliar and untamed land. The narrative takes a southern turn, as immigrant Thomas Pearson’s grandson Tommy Pearson (b1728) leads our ancestors to Bush Creek, South Carolina, before he and his family ultimately migrates to the dark virgin forest of the Ohio Miami Valley in 1804. To facilitate the reader's connection with our direct paternal ancestors, their names are highlighted in bold throughout this book.
