In the not so distant future, a disease is killing those born with the XX chromosome at a rapid rate. Women and femmes are being replaced in all facets of society by artificial intelligence.
What can’t this woman do? This was phenomenal. I absolutely love speculative fiction and I cannot wait for the continuation. This plot, the themes to explore about nature and nature, and the importance of connection. It’s going to be so so good. And heaven help because I might be a little feral over Simon.
4⭐️🌶️🌶️ I really enjoyed this book, and the concept is something that you don’t read often. I would like more information about this couple. and with the way that AI is taken over the world I could see something like this happening.
Listen this was a snack that got me primed and ready for a full meal. I love the futuristic elements of the story. I appreciate when authors think outside of the box and she did just that. I am eager for a full story.
This was decent, the sci-fi element was different and I kind of enjoyed it! I was not ready for it to end!!! I need more of Kami and Simon!! But she’s bringing them back AND honey…. I have to see where that goes!!

“We take the hurt for you. Because we can’t say no, less of you all will hurt. At least, that is what they tell us. We take the hurt so you can live.”
Imagine a world where there’s an attack on women. There is a virus that would put Covid to shame and women are dying at rates as high as the 80’s AIDS epidemic. Instead of someone finding out why, they start to replace them with Synth’s. Now you’re left competing with a d*mn robot. What do you do? Well read to find out what Kami did. 😅
The level of creativity with this story was just wow!!! One of one! This was a solid 4 for me but originality took it over the edge for me! I can’t wait to read how things develop! Stand tf up TM!! You did that!!!
T.M. Richardson’s pen(typing) game is unstoppable. Android sckrippers …… okay listen. Think you are in a distant future and women are dying from a disease. Somehow men are most concerned with their needs in the mist of a dying gender. Either way androids are not replacing human women and it comes at a price for all. This story is futuristic yet seems so close to the present.
This book gave everything it needed to give. It was a short introduction to characters I can't wait to learn more about. Kami was my favorite. She stood up for not only herself but also the synths in the club. She had those men shook when she threatened them. I loved Simon, too. Who doesn't love a sexy nerd. His crush on Kami was so cute. The spice was hot because Simon came to lay pipe. I loved this black sci-fi romance book.
I was a little skeptical going into a sci-fi erotic novelette, but I love me some Tati, so I already knew I’d at least enjoy it. And listen… the futuristic elements? I’m here for all of it. She definitely stepped outside the box in the best way, and it worked. This was fresh, bold, creative, and now I’m over here genuinely curious to see where she takes this next. Consider my interest officially piqued.
This novella was an interesting peek into a future work from T.M. Richardson. There are a lot a parallels between the society in this book and the issues that women are facing today. This was a quick read that convinced me I will pick up the future books in this series/future works with these characters.
I know the book was short but it felt inorganic. I didn’t feel the words I was reading or the emotions trying to be portrayed. Well at least what happened in the club. But I did enjoy it after the club scene. Love Simon. Honey will be an interesting dynamic in the future.
I enjoyed this novelette. With the way of our world currently I can see how closely related this is to our times now. It’s kind of scary. This novelette is short and sweet. A little sci-fi a little romance. I can’t wait to see the future works. Tati Richardson does it again.
I ate this is up!!! This is such an interesting concept! Robots replacing women due to a rapidly spreading disease. The disease affecting all areas of life and that depends on women including the strip club ?!?!? This was sooooo goood. So read it NEOWWW
Interesting concept. I didn't know what to expect, and I wonder how future stories in this universe will tie in. A quick entertaining read that makes me want to check out more of this author's work.
What a great introduction to a new universe! TM Richardson knows what she's doing. She gets you invested in a few pages. The erotica aspect felt raw yet intimate. I want to know more of Kami, Simon and Honey. I want to know about this disease. Can't wait to see what's next.
This was an interesting story especially the introduction of the synth. I liked the chemistry between Simon and Kami. The idea of the synths really have me thinking.
I enjoyed this novella. It was short, sweet and to the point. This is a first from the author and I must say I’m interested in more. I think this would be a good series because now I wanna know what happened with Kami, Simon and Honey.
This was a good novelette. This was nothing at all what I thought I was going to read about as I went into this blind with just the cover. I enjoyed the fact that it was more revelations an POV’s in this read. The romance story was sweet soft and so innocent.
Not really into sci-fi reads. I’ll watch it before I read it . But I wanted to give this a try. I was thoroughly impressed because this held my attention to the point that it pulled different emotions out of me. I enjoyed this. This ended too quick for me. I wanted more.
I’m gonna give this a 3.5 stars. It took me a second to get into it but im curious where this story will go if there is a future story coming. I enjoyed this was more than a previous story I read from this author so I’m excited to try some more books from them in the future.
Yeah, so I didn't go into this completely blind, shout out to the synopsis, but still I wasn't prepared. Have you ever read something where you just kept staring at the screen/page? That was definitely this book (in a good way). And now I can't get David Banner out of my head lol.
Loved it! Quick, to the point, and sexy! In the 50-ish pages, Richardson did a great job of establishing characters and a world that was easy to imagine and root for.
