Hands down the best surgical textbook! There were so many logical explanations and tips for differentiating similar presentations that helped me to pass my surgery shelf with flying colors. This book was almost the only tool I used for study aside from two NBME self-assessments, so the time spent reading it made my life during surgery rotation so much more manageable. A must read for surgeons or physicians in any specialty that works closely with surgery.
When Schwartz was still a two volume book, this was the best book to move around with during med school. A bit complex for a student but there were topics in it that makes this book unique.
Well ladies I am aware that this is a very sad choice of books to be reading but it's the truth..... I'm studying for my yearly surgery exam. After it's over on Jan 26 I promise to post something enjoyable to read :-)
