Her older sister made sure of it. When their parents died, Crystal's sister Eve took over raising her and ensured she got the best education possible. She even went into debt to ensure Crystal was able to attend the prestigious Omega Academy.
But her bright future was cut short when her brother-in-law died, and Kieran Cobb, leader of the underground crime organization known as the Conglomerate, sent his cronies to collect his debt. Rather than let her sister take the burden, Crystal sacrificed herself in servitude to his organization.
It's been four years since the day her life changed, and Crystal has hated every moment of it. From the lies she tells during the day at The Design Clinic to the drugs she sells at night at Prism, Kieran's nightclub, Crystal starts to lose hope that she will ever escape the unhinged Alpha's clutches.
When Crystal discovers her scent match and rejects him to keep him safe from Kieran, she realizes she can't stay trapped forever and begins to make a plan to escape the Conglomerate for good.
But she forgot one thing.
Crystal may be the Queen of Prism, but Kieran is the King, and he's never letting her go.
Knot All is Crystal is a contemporary MMFMM Omegaverse set in the underbelly of Lunarcrest City, part of the larger Design Clinic universe.
Holly Monroe reluctantly lives in Florida with her husband, two kids, and two rescue pups. She's never met a character she couldn't traumatize, but she always gives them their happily ever afters.
Okay so this was amazing. I was bamboozled more than once. There were so many things I didn't see coming?? Usually I'm pretty good at sniffing things out but oh my freaking gosh.
Crystal is one of my favorite fmcs. She has had such a shit few years but she's held on even when she wanted to end it. She never gave up and once she met her pack it just made her fight so much harder. Her men better treat her like the freaking treasure that she is.
I loved all of the guys but Gage was my favorite of them hands down. He can't eat gluten, which same, and he keeps a stash of emergency thin mints in his freezer and that made me absolutely die because I actually happen to have two boxes in my freezer. Immediately endeared him to me.
This really was hard to put down. Once I got into it I stayed up way too late finishing it. The plot was fantastic, the characters were amazing, and the spice was spicing 😌.
If Holly Monroe writes it, you can bet I’m reading it. She has always slaaaayed every book!
I had a fantastic time beta-reading Knot All is Crystal and I’m telling you now that Holly got so many unhinged messages from me specifically proclaiming my love for Puck ❤️🔥
What can I say? I love my men morally grey and a tad villain-y.
No seriously I love Puck so much. He is so gruff daddy.
Knot All is Crystal is set in the same universe as Knot All is Perfect and Knot All is Forgiven. Crystal got forcibly involved in the conglomerate (basically the mob) mostly by peddling drugs.
She is absolutely not having a good time with the mafia lord, Kieran, who’s kept her on a short leash.
Oh and I was honestly hot for Kieran that I asked Holly if we could keep him as the pack’s pet 😌
SADLY, Holly said no and reminded me he’s a TRUE evil evil man. Le sigh.
Anyway, I really admired Crystal! She’s tough and hasn’t let the years in the mafia break her. She even managed to slowly form her own pack despite the danger around her 😭
Rating: 3.5 ⭐/5 Spice: 4🌶️/5 Did I cry?: No Format: Kindle- Arc Thank you Holly Monroe for sending me this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
Review: This book was very intense and dark, making the stakes feel very high. Almost too high at some points. The mafia elements, while central to the plot, were sometimes hard to get into and felt a bit over-the-top which took me out of the story a bit. I really liked the male characters overall, but I wish some of them had been more fleshed out. Manny came off as pretty one-dimensional, and we barely got to see the real Puck, which was disappointing. That said, the drama definitely delivered, and the spice was absolutely spicing! It was rewarding to see Crystal’s journey and I really appreciated the care that went into all the mental and physical health representations. I love a large cast of characters and this pack really started to feel like a family by the end of it. Plus I love a beta being accepted into the pack and a bi-awakening. I eat that up every time.
This is like mostly a dnf. I read 50% then skipped to the end. I’m sorry but I just can’t do the super sad shit anymore where they go through hell and back the whole book with no plot.
I'm really bummed I didn't like this one because I LOVED Knot All is Perfect.
The biggest problem with this one is the characters. There was no real logic in a lot of their actions. And overall they were just weak and annoying.
Ignorance really must be bliss because that's the attitude they all had.
I feel bad for Crystal. Everyone in her life sucks. Her sister is ignorant and selfish, her mates are weak and won't put her first - one of them even using her and allowing her to suffer when he could have protected her FROM THE BEGINNING?, some man is completely obsessed with her but also not obsessed enough because in the end he is willing to give her away to better himself, even the people who were kind of her "friends" that she came across always failed her.
Puck is literally the worst love interest I have ever read about. He sees her being abused emotionally and physically FOR YEARS, and even when he finds out she is his scent match, he still stands by? He continues to leave her alone with her abuser? None of it made any sense, there was no logic in the actions of the characters.
Gage has serious pick me vibes. He constantly needs to be told straight up that he is wanted or he pouts like a kicked baby. It got annoying.
Maverick... Probably the only one that was half decent.
Emmanuel.. As someone who lives with chronic pain and wakes up at a 4-6 every single day of my LIFE, that is NEVER an excuse to snap at the people that care about you. Plus he is so judgmental of Crystal's choices. As if she had all the choices in the world when really she just wanted ANYONE to care about her?

No amount of groveling could ever make me forgive Puck. And Maverick was two dimensional even by OV standards. The first book in this series was so beautiful I cried the entire way through but books 2 and 3 have been so hard to read and I think I’m done with this author permanently. The misuse of dark themes, the poor character development, the cringe-y writing…just yikes.
What a fantastic book! It had everything! Crystal Manson is an Omega who sacrifices herself to protect her sister and niece from Keirnan Cobb (mafia boss in charge of the club she works). He creates a bond to keep her under his "protection " every few months. Crystal doesn't want a pack yet. She wants to work off her brother-in-law's debt so that Kiernan wouldn't go after her niece. We follow her journey as she slowly meets her scent matches and builds her pack all the while trying to make sure Kiernan doesn't find out. It was a Rollercoaster of a ride and you feel for Crystal and her guys. I loved this book so much, Holly makes you really feel for all the characters involved.

Holly. This was everything. I didn’t want to finish this book, I didn’t want it to be over. I loved Crystal and her pack. All the guys were perfect for her. I have to say I’m obsessed with one of the alphas … I don’t usually have a fav but Maverick was so easy to love. He was just everything. I can’t even describe it you just have to read this one and fall in love with him yourself. His authenticity, his personality, just him as himself. Crystal’s journey throughout this book had so many bumps and twists that I was hooked from the beginning. Manny’s chronic illness, his migraines - it was so real. this is the best migraine representation that I have ever read in a book! This whole pack was everything, this book was everything.
Again, Monroe does a wonderful job including everyday, but not normally talked about, problems. I appreciate how she tackles mental health, trauma, and other disorders and how they affect the everyday life of her characters. I will definitely be reading the 4th book in November!
if I could I would give this 4.5 stars. I was lucky to get an ARC from the author.
This is a darker vibe from the first two books but still compelling and I'd recommend readers take a look at trigger warnings to be safe.
All that being said, I love how Holly Monroe gives us a gritting look at Lunarcrest. In Knot All Is Perfect we saw the consequences of the Design Clinic and in Knot All Is Crystal, we see the consequence of a society who determines someone's worth by designation alone.
Crystal is put into a no-win situation and to be frank, some of her love interests fall into the charcoal gray moral category (looking at Puck here). None of the male leads are the big bad but this being a gritting omegaverse they do have connections to the underbelly of Lunarcrest.
What's nice is that the author offsets this with other male leads who have their own storyline not necessarily connected to the underground like Manny, Gage, and Maverick (sort of).
The story is extremely compelling and the only reason I would take off half a star is because I felt about 3/4 of the way in the pacing between the emotional beats vs. wrapping up the action in the plot was a little unbalanced - it went too heavy one way or another depending on the chapter/section.
All in all this is a fantastic read and a great darker look into Holly Monroe's omegaverse--you best believe I'll have the next book as a one click buy on Amazon.
DNF’d at 67%. Loved the first 2 books in the series but these didn’t make sense to me, especially as love interests. Just became crisis after crisis with no actual actions taken (oh and fuck Puck).
This is such a good edition to the Lunarcrest City series! I adored Knot All is Perfect, and while I enjoyed Knot All is Forgiven, this story definitely feels more like it's successor - it's a dark story, with some grim subject matter.
Now, I feel a bit weird saying this, but I actually wish the story had been darker: our FMC Crystal is , but as even Crystal herself would have pointed out, I found this really strange - there was no compelling reason given for his behaviour, and it kind of dragged me out of the story that that element wasn't there given how horrific the world Crystal had found herself in. Why not her? It didn't make any sense to me.
I loved how distinct each of the MMCs were, and that they were all sufficiently introduced early enough on for each to have time to shine. There is a lot of own voices disability rep, and it was really nice getting to watch these guys use their meds and coping techniques and supporting each other to get through what was happening to them. Maverick, in particular, was a wee gem and I loved him - it was all in the small details like replacing the toaster so Gage wouldn't get sick - it was nice seeing a newly formed pack treating each other right.
I am so, so, so excited for the next book in this series. It's sounds even darker than this one, and I hope Monroe doesn't shy away from what she's been setting up. Sure, I want lots of love and consent and acceptance, but the characters can work for it! Omegaverse stories are so good for exploring ideas like consent and free will, and the Lunarcrest City series so far has been fantastic at teasing these ideas out - I can't wait to see where it all goes next!
I read an advance copy of this book. My thoughts are very much my own.
Crystal Manson is not your typical omega. Though she went through the Omega Academy, she refused to be THAT omega. Crystal never met her scent match. She didn’t want a pack. Though requested, she never went to socials. Crystal’s life took a turn at her sister’s husband’s funeral. She was approached by two guys that told her that her sister’s husband was a gambler and had accrued a lot of debt before he passed. Crystal could not put that burden on her pregnant sister. Her sister did a lot for Crystal when their parents passed. Crystal owed her this.
Crystal went to work at Prism and became “The Queen”. She was close to the owner. Alpha Kieran Cobb did not treat her like the other omegas working at Prism. She was the queen and everybody knew it. Puck Bellamy was Kieran’s second in command. He also looked after Queenie and tried to protect her. While working at Prism, Crystal also worked at the Design Clinic as a research assistant. For four years everything was bearable, then something changed. Kieran started wanting more from Crystal. One unfortunate night Crystal gets drugged by some alphas. While under the influence of the drugs, she meets Maverick Reilly. Maverick is Crystal’s scent match. She knows she can’t be with him. She gives herself one night to be with her alpha. One night only.
While at the Design Clinic, Crystal meets Emmanuel Ortega. Emmanuel is also Crystal’s scent match. Crystal thinks that maybe they can be together if they keep it a secret. She did not want him to find out about what she did at Prism. She knew he would not understand. Thanks not all. This book is so good. The twists come until the very end. Will Crystal be able to have the life she never allowed herself to dream about? A pack that she can call her own. Kieran Cobb will do everything in his power to keep Crystal as his. The lengths Kieran goes through is staggering. The bombs dropped will blow reader’s minds. This series has me in a chokehold. Ms. Monroe will have me clamoring to read every book that she writes. This book is no different.
Knot All is Crystal had all the ingredients to completely own me, gritty omegaverse chaos, scent-matched pack tension, a heroine on the edge trying to hold it all together, but even with that setup, it didn’t fully hit. Three stars, and here’s the truth: I liked the idea of this book way more than the execution.
Crystal’s juggling a nightmare, family pressure, mob debts, sketchy nightclub shifts, and a scent match to a bunch of alphas that’s are deeply into her. She’s trying to keep her head down, stay alive, and definitely not fall into the mess of three alphas and a beta who want to make her theirs. The vibes? Immaculate. The setup? Right up my alley.
But somewhere along the way, the emotional connection slipped.
I wanted to feel the stakes, the panic, the desperate hope that maybe this pack could be her salvation. But it stayed surface-level. There were so many plot threads, drug debts, family backstory, pack dynamics, and a whole club scene that could’ve gone full-blown underworld, and it all started to blur. Add in a pack where everyone kind of blended together (except maybe Gage, who had a few standout moments), and it just felt… crowded.
Don’t get me wrong, there were flashes of emotional clarity, Crystal trying to walk away for their safety, the brief moments of comfort, the tension of maybe trusting again. But most of it? Got lost in the shuffle. I kept waiting for that moment, that scene where everything snapped into place and wrecked me. It didn’t come.
If you’re into: ✨ Gritty omegaverse with real-world stakes ✨ Packs with visible scars, mental health, grief, trauma ✨ Dark, found-family energy in chaotic neon settings ✨ Heroines who’ve been through it and are still standing
Then Knot All is Crystal might still be your thing. It just didn’t quite deliver the emotional weight I needed.
3 stars, full of sharp edges and rich worldbuilding, but emotionally a little hollow. The pieces were all there… they just didn’t knot together for me.
This book had so many unexpected twists and turns! I absolutely loved it.
Crystal Manson lost her parents when she was 11 and was raised by her older sister. When her brother-in-law dies unexpectedly, he leaves behind a pregnant wife and, as Crystal finds out at the funeral, a debt to the Conglomerate. Refusing to subject her sister to that fate, Crystal agrees to take on the debt and work for Kieran Cobb. Four years later, she is still working at Prism as the “Queen” and doesn’t seem any closer to working off the debt. When she meets one of her scent match alphas, she quickly rejects him to keep him safe from Kieran. But she realizes that she can’t work at Prism forever and she wants to get to know her pack. So she decides to make a plan to escape, but she should have realized that Kieran is the King and he won’t let his Queen go without a fight.
Crystal is probably one of my favorite FMCs. She is doing everything she can to stay afloat and help her sister and niece even though there are times she wants to end it. I loved her spunk, but I also loved that we got to see her vulnerable side. I really appreciated how chronic and mental illness were portrayed so thoughtfully. I could really relate to Emmanuel’s struggles with migraines and the lack of understanding from some people. One of my favorite parts was the way he talked about meeting people and how difficult it can be with chronic pain. I also felt like Maverick’s mental illness was very realistic and relatable especially the struggles with executive dysfunction. I loved the way that the pack all helped each other through their struggles.
First of all, how dare you? Why did you play with my emotions like that, HOLLY? WTF dude? Why did this finish so quickly? I NEED MORE. Take my money, man. Please and Thank you. This was just a dark rollercoaster and I was just happily strapped in at the front row wearing my emotional support helmet.
I felt like I went through the 5 stages of grief. This new addition of the Lunarcrest City Omegaverse series was much darker compared to its other counterparts but it fits so well with them. This was very much the dark underbelly of the city that we really only got small glimpses of in the past two novels. There was so much yearning, struggle, sheer determination and eventual happiness. There was definitely quite a bit of violence in this and lots of questionable actions.
Manny and Crystal’s first kiss? I kicked my feet like a little fangirl. Mav getting the crown tattoo for Crystal despite not knowing her? Gnawing on my pillows like a feral creature. Gage helping Crystal piece herself back together one tattoo at a time? Sobbing in my pillow fort in the corner of my living room. Puck doing what he can to protect Crystal from the collapse of Kieran’s sanity? GIMME
The character development was so GOOOOOOOD. I loved all of the members of the pack but my favorite was definitely Mav and Burger. Yes, Burger is the dog but hh had my heart just from the name alone. All of them are not picture perfect but that’s what makes this little group of misfits so endearing to me.
I have a love/hate relationship. I love your writing deeply and the stories you tell so beautifully but I hate how they always have to end. 😭
I've been waiting awhile for Crystal and her story, and this DID NOT disappoint!!
Crystal has been held Captive and pretty much under duress for 4 years to repay a debt her deceased brother-in-law racked up, she's an Omega in this omegaverse and called the Queen as she does Kieran Cobs bidding with Prism- you know everything bad happens at Prism.
One by one, her life starts falling apart but at the same time, she starts meeting her scent matched alphas one by one. She meets them all in unlikely circumstances- which mirror some romance book tropes and they're all different and amazing! Did I forget to mention, there's also inclusion of a Beta in the pack and the support and love is overwhelming- ahhhh I love it!
This story kept my on my toes and biting my nails (not my toenails- looking at you GAGE). There was links to the previous books in this series, there was a lot going on, so many different personalities that flowed through the pages, it was such an enjoyable book to read and the suspense- always keeping me ready and questioning what's going to happen. Now- the spice is very spicy! Mmfmm- and omegaverse with a female omega, alphas and a beta- nothing can go wrong, only very right!
I want to thank Holly for giving these characters their voices and making such beautiful art in the form of her writing. I have read many books from her and I love them! There was nothing I disliked about this book- I'm obsessed with it!
Knot All is Crystal is the third book in the Lunarcrest City Omegaverse series by Holly Monroe. You do not need to read the other books before this one, but there are mentions of past characters. Crystal is a female omega that is trying to protect the sister that raised her after her parent’s death. She goes to work for a shady crime organization to pay the debt of her dead brother-in-law. She meet Puck once she starts her new job. He is second in command of the organization and he is drawn to Crystal from the start. He does what he can to protect her, but it is not always enough.
Crystal runs into Emmanuel at the medical office she works at. Once they finally meet, they find that they are scent matches. Crystal runs into Maverick at her second job at the club. She pulls him into a room and they find they are also a scent match. Crystal tries to protect him saying they are not and leaves before he wakes up the next morning.
Crystal met Gage when she walked into a tattoo parlor and needed some art. She comes to him every few months to add to her piece. They are drawn to each other, but do not act on it. She wants to protect him and he doesn’t think she will need a beta in her future pack.
Crystal finds these very different men who need to learn to be together in a pack. They also need to protect each other from the boss that Crystal and Puck work for. This was a great story with tears and laughs. Go read it now.
Another excellent entry into the world of Lunarcrest City, with another Omega who's having one hell of a rough go of it.
While I cant go into specifics, because spoilers suck, I will say this much. The cast of characters for this book are wonderful, with such a wide variety of personalities and situations. It's also nice to see representation for Unseen/Invisible illnesses, and seeing the characters have to work through them instead of just 'being present'. Its nice to see characters that have issues and flaws, and have to find ways to either manage them, or work through them where possible.
While I can say the spice was definitely spicing, Crystal's story was an enjoyable read, with good pacing throughout. There were definitely a couple of moments in the story that left me with a 'shocked pikachu face', and seeing the plot points that invoked the reaction was glorious.
One of my favorite aspects of Lunarcrest as a series of interconnected standalones is that each book has a different dynamic for the packs prior to the Omega joining it. In Perfect, the pack is already formed and we see how things develop from there. In Forgiven, we started with a formed pack, but saw it splinter in real time as the aftereffects from the men's decision caused rifts that caused them to drift apart. In Crystal, we get the full opposite of Perfect, as we watch the pack come together over the course of the book, and get to enjoy watching the relationships and bonds form throughout.
Her sister took care of her as a child and now she was returning the favor
When their parents died Crystal's older sister took over caring for her. When her brother in law died Crystal found out he owed money to the Conglomerate. So she did the only thing she could and offered to work off his debt. Turns out that was not a good idea.
Now Crystal is stuck as the Queen of Prisim but the King never planned to let her go.
This story took some unexpected turns but I loved every one of them. From the unique drugs to the strong female lead you will enjoy every bit of this story.
I love that through everything Crystal is dealt she shows how much fight she has. Thankfully even though Kieran is a terrible person she still has Puck looking out for her. He is doing everything he can to ensure she is as safe as possible. However, We Crystal suddenly finds herself with a scent match everything starts to change.
Is there any way for crystal to have her own pack knowing that Kieran thinks she is his?
I absolutely loved the different characters and their personalities. I love seeing real characters who deal with real physical and mental conditions. This story has a character with chronic migraines and one with bipolar disorder. We also have to deal with Celiac and the struggles around what foods are safe. I absoluetly loe how the characters come together to deal with all of these normal everyday challenges and the grace they have for each other. It is absolutely beautiful.
I was looking forward to reading about an eclectic mix of characters and the author's personal investment into the struggles and stigma surrounding chronic pain and bipolar disorder. This is supposed to be a "dark romance"...but the relationships themselves weren't dark and very little of the romance aspect felt present. It was more of a crime drama with a HEA.
What let me down was that it really felt like everyone's particular issue(s) - chronic migraines, bipolar disorder, abandonment, trapped in a criminal organization, etc. took center stage and the romance was barely a hum of background noise. The way Crystal's pack was built was rushed and chaotic, while trying to make "scent matching" the mystical lust glue to hold it all together. So, for most of what I read (since I stopped about 78% in), the intimate interactions between pack members felt like a bunch of awkward one night stands.
I couldn't get over the lack of chemistry I felt between everyone, and eventually got bored with how samesy everything was, yet still somehow clumsy and...well, it feels a bit on the nose to use the term "disordered" but... *shrug*
I think that might have been the issue. The author felt so much connection to these characters through her own experience, that perhaps while attempting to write those experiences accurately, she was blinded to the fact that the actual character development and story itself were missing critical pieces.
But that's just my two cents. Like I said, I didn't make it to the end, so do with this what you will.
Absolutely freakin INCREDIBLE. I’m a huge fan of the RH trope and this one reminded me of exactly why. Crystal is forced into an extremely awful and volatile situation where she’s being controlled by basically the worst Alpha alive, Kieran Cobb, a crime lord and just a waste of space in human form. She meets one of her mates and things spiral from there. She tries to stay away from him and her other mates because she’s afraid of them being hurt but eventually she gives in and wackiness ensues. I loved Crystal and how fierce she was even in the worst of situations. I honestly don’t know which of the males in her pack I love the most because they’re all so wonderful in their own ways. Maverick is hilarious and definitely provides a lot of comic relief. Gage is just an absolutely precious man who isn’t sure he belongs. Emmanuel is the older male in the pack and he’s very steadfast in his devotion to the pack and just a generally well-balanced guy. There’s definitely some dark stuff that happens in this so please check your trigger warnings. The spice in this was hotter than fire and there’s some really good group scenes in this. I loved seeing all these relationships develop and the ending was so perfect. Definitely wanna read more in this series in the future.

Talk about a roller coaster of emotions, this book was intense from the start and had me hooked on Crystal's story till the end!
There are so many different things at play that keep Crystal tied in her current reality. Trapped in a never-ending cycle the last thing she wants is to meet her scent matches; too bad fate doesn't really care about what she wants.
Theres a lot more to these scent matches than what meets the eye. Almost all of them managed to surprise me in one way or another whether it was with Crystal or the others in the pack.
Gage was my favorite! Give me a shy, socially awkward, rambling MMC any day!
Besides working through new bonds, forming a pack is tough with so many clashing personalities and complicated histories heads are bound to butt. Things aren't easy but they're all ready to fight for what they want. Each other.
I'm so ready for the next in the series! Gimme!!
Please read the trigger warnings as this book does touch darker themes!!
In all honestly, I was hesitant for this one. I didn't know how a story with an omega who is a drug dealing queen was going to go.
It is safe to say that there is a reason I love this author. This book was beyond amazing. The FMC is an omega who is trapped by an organised crime group and is doing what she had to keep her family safe. She is a combination of kick a$$ and damsel. She can't get herself out, but it doesn't mean she is weak!
What really made this book one of my new omegaverse favourites, still behind Knot All Is Perfect 🤣, is the MMCs. I personally can't speak about migraines and bipolar, but I personally believed they were portrayed accurately and with such love. There was so much acceptance within the pack, and I loved the build-a-pack aspect.
I don't want to give anything away, but I could not put it down. And I loved how it was multiple POV, which gave us insight into their thoughts and how not everyone deals with situations the same.
This book is a standalone but is also a part of the Lunarcrest City World, so some characters have appeared prior, and there are mentions of what has happened in the other books. But it in no way affects this book. It's more like "OMG, in that commercial is 'Just Joey' ".
Knot All is Crystal by Holly Monroe ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars Release date May 23rd
I physically had a difficult time putting this book down. I truly was pulled in, and kept captive by Crystal and her crew. Beautiful. 🤩 5-Stars is not enough.
💎 Organized Crime 💎 MMFMM 💎 Omegaverse 💎 Chronic Pain rep 💎 Mental Health rep 💎 Blighted Bonds 💎 Pack-building 💎 Everyone has struggles 💎 All the yearning 💎 Standalone in interconnected series
Could the relationships that Crystal builds with her pack be any more beautiful & meaningful? Answer, no, no they could not. Each member has their own special love with her, and each other ( whether romantic or not). This example of pack- building is beautiful!! The way they all need one another makes my heart so happy!
There is real trauma and real danger in Crystal’s life. The emotional journey and physical escape that Crystal has is top-notch!!!
I literally cried for Crystal and her pack. Both in heartache and in joy. Books that make me do that become my favorites. This series just gets better and better.
Preorder this book. Read it. Join me. I don’t think you will regret it.
I was gifted a copy of this book by the author. My opinions are my own. Thank you!
Holly Monroe is one of my few I will read it asap authors. Always a great story. Usually great characters.
Knot All is Crystal is an okay addition to Lunarcrest City. The story is fantastic and the mental heath and chronic disease representation is 🎯.
I did find the beginning a little slow. I had to push myself though it because I knew that once it found it's footing, I'd be in for a treat.
And it was. 😃 The bulk of the story is well written. The pack's dynamic was the sweetest. Everyone deserves friends/partners like them. I was invested. Holy plot twist. (I got yelled at by my daughter for muttering wtf at my computer) And then it kind of fell flat for me. The conclusion was rushed.
While this is a great book, I'm not sure I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get into OV.
My rating scale:
🌟 I will never get that time back. DNF 🌟🌟 Meh. Most likely won't DNF 🌟🌟🌟 Solid book. Won't recommend to everyone, but will recommend to the appropriate audience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 SO GOOD. I will recommend this to everyone. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This book is my personality.
Knot all is Crystal is another AMAZING installment in the lunacrest city omegaverse.
Crystals story is so good, and so powerful. She is fierce, strong, loyal, and has had to make so many hard choices in her life so far. She deserves the best life has to offer her, and I was rooting for her the whole time!
I love all the guys, and the migraine and mental health rep?? So good! Genuinely loved how each of them supported one another and cared for their needs.
The storyline was extremely interesting and sucked me in from the start - I read this book in less than 24 hours!
The spice was perfection with each of them and then together, and I continue to love how the author sets these scenes up.
Everything about this story was so so so good, but my favorite? The tattoo storyline and the meaning for her tattoos. As someone who has tattoos that not only bring me joy but are testaments to my strength and resilience, I LOVED THIS. Like I loved this so much I cannot stop thinking about it.
I am agonizing over the wait for the next installment and can’t wait for it to come out! This is a must read series for sure.
Holly can do no wrong, especially in the Omegaverse world!
If you love omegaverse books but want something a little more edgy and a darker plot this is for you. The protective MMCs were so swoon worthy and their strong, but just wants to be loved, FMC was amazing. This book had all the feels - I was holding my breath, shedding some tears and laughing out loud throughout the book. I can usually pick plots but even I struggled to see a way out for our FMC and some of the twists literally made me gasp! Love me some emotional damage!
Side note - I really Loved the real representation of mental illness and health conditions in this book- a lot of stories that cover those topics make it the whole personality of the character (and usually a whole dose of miscommunication trope about their needs as well) but in reality people with these conditions get on with life just the same as everyone else. I really appreciated that these characters really showed what acceptance and love looks like.
