“Fine, I’ll graduate after I finish the dream walking classes,” I say, giving in a second later.

“Good,” Morgan says. “Because you DO have work to do—you’re going to back me up when I go super hunting, remember?”

“Of course I am,” I say. “But that’s not the same thing as the post-graduate work, you know? Like Vinny’s still trying to get out of hopping around doing Max’s work, and Max is still trying to get out of doing Mastermental’s—“

“Way to throw me under the bus,” Max says, shooting me a look.

“But if I HAD graduated, I wouldn’t be going into the Dreamrealms next week,” I say, feeling justified.

“Nah, we woulda sent you, anyway, Ace,” Nico says, and for a brief second an illusion of a balloon appears floating over my head—only to be popped.

“Thank you, Nico,” I say dryly, “that’s exactly NOT what I wanted to hear right now.”

Although this book started slow and picked up speed and maybe one of my favorites in the series. It introduced several interesting new characters. I also found it somewhat unpredictable. It started in one direction and then would change to a completely new direction. By the end I had difficulty putting it down since I wanted to know what was going to happen.
