Okay, buckle up for this one! "Sin Bin Beast" by Kelani Knox is a wild ride filled with intense emotions, a whole lot of steam, and a hockey romance that's definitely not for the faint of heart.

Let me start by saying, Alexi and Mark are a powerful couple. Their connection is undeniable from the first moment Mark sees her, and it quickly spirals into something all-consuming. Now, Mark's brand of "connection" leans heavily on the obsessive side. We're talking cameras in her apartment, tracking devices in her gifts… not exactly your typical meet-cute.

But here's the thing, it weirdly works? Alexi, for all her initial fear, seems to understand Mark's darkness in a way nobody else can. And Mark, well, he protects her like a lioness guards her cubs. It's twisted, yes, but also strangely compelling.

The story definitely takes some dark turns, with a villain I genuinely did not see coming. It kept me guessing and glued to the pages. The romance itself is intense and steamy, with a definite "forbidden fruit" vibe that adds to the excitement.

However, here's the thing to keep in mind: This book isn't for everyone. The stalking aspect might be a turn-off for some readers, and the characters are definitely complex and not always likable.

But if you're looking for a dark, angsty romance with a strong dose of possessiveness, then "Sin Bin Beast" might just be your jam. Just be prepared for a wild ride!

Here are some things I really enjoyed:
The Intensity: The connection between Alexi and Mark is off-the-charts intense. It's dark, it's twisted, but it's undeniable.
The Plot Twist: I totally did not see the villain coming, which always makes a book more exciting for me.
The Steamy Scenes: Kelani Knox definitely knows how to write a steamy scene. Be prepared for some serious heat!

A few things to consider:
The Stalking: This is a major part of the story, so if that's not your cup of tea, you might want to skip this one.
The Dark Romance: This isn't your typical sunshine and rainbows romance. The characters are complex and not always likable.

I gave "Sin Bin Beast" a 4.25 out of 5 stars. It's a dark, intense read that will stay with you long after you finish the last page.

2.25 Stars. (BW/WM). Kindle Unlimited Edition 217 page e=book.

Setting: Modern day Washington DC.

Trope: Insta lust.

Protagonists:
1. Mark Anderson, hero, is the goalie for the DC Wolverines, a NHL team.
2. Alexi, heroine, is the choreography for the Ice Girls, a squad of women who perform during the DC Wolverines hockey games.

I read 64% of this story before I DNF'd it. Mark and Alexi eyed each other for weeks or months without speaking. Alexi had been dating and Mark was waiting for that relationship to end. Each internally longed to bed the other; the first conversation they start resulted in a manic no holds barred night of sex. Outside of responses during sex there was no interaction or display of romantic chemistry. Mark bugged Alexi's apartment so he could keep her safe and before there was any evidence that she was in danger. This story is uninteresting.

Always Watching

Sin Bin Beast is definitely a book that needs a warning label warning of just how much of this book has mystery, action, things that go BUMP in the day and night. But this book is packed full of sexiness as he-…heck…lol…

Mark and Alexi are two peas in a pod. Their chemistry is what makes the air around them electric, that comes through the pages (screen).

I’m loving this series. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more. Especially Viktor’s and Brandi’s stories would make an excellent addition to the series.

Either way, I’m anticipating a great series.

This is a thrilling story about obsession and its effects on the woman who he has come to love as his own. Mark took one look at Alexi while she was dancing, and the rest is history. He is always there in the background watching. When someone other than himself starts following her moves Mark steps up his action to protect what is his. Will he be there when the danger finally arrives to keep Alexi safe. This is a well written story with a well-developed plot that with one heck of a turning point. The conclusion had me cheering for Mark and Alexi to get their chance for happiness.

How I enjoyed the story of Alexi and Mark. She is his obsession from the first moment. They have a connection from the moment he saw her dance. He watches from a distance and keeps an eye on her and follows her every move. Gradually he comes closer and it is not only watching but also protecting what is his because whether Alexi knows it or not she is his and he protects and keeps safe what he loves. There is drama, danger, desire, romance and a lot of passion. I love the books of Kelani Knox and I can recommend her books to everyone to read.

"My favorite stalker."

That’s what Alexi said to Mark a few times. He set up cameras in and around her apartment, He gave her gifts that had tracking devices installed. Not to control but to protect her. It allowed both of them to sleep at night knowing she was safe. Alexi loved Mark’s darkness because she recognized the same darkness in herself and Mark trusted her with his darkness once he acknowledged her love.

Beautifully written story. I didn’t think I would enjoy this series so much. I hope there’s a Brandi and Viktor’s story.

Great Series, Wish I Could Get One

I would love a man like Mark right now, Alexi hit gold with him. A lot of woman pick the wrong man, James makes me think of my daughters ex, but he even took it a really big step further by assaulting her 2 oldest children, after she had 2 children by him. He hide it well, the children didn’t say anything until 4 or 5 yrs later. So a lot of women could use men like Mark & Viktor, protectors. I can’t wait to read Viktor & Brandi story. I’m going to have read the other 2 again before I read the 3rd to let it really flow.

I enjoyed Sin Bin Bully a lot, but Sam pissed me off so much for most of the book. I think he was meant to though.

This book had me locked in the entire time and I didn't care what Mark did. It was all acceptable even when it was a bit unhinged lol. The two leads have perfect chemistry. I also really loved Viktor and Mark's friendship.

I need to know more about Viktor and Brandi. I feel like there was too much set up there for us to never get their story. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

One look was all it took for Mark to become obsessed with Alexi, and it only grows from there but to what end? Well written engaging steamy, hockey, obsessive, stalker romance.

Loved it. Mark is a hand full. Is Alexi up to the challenge to calm Mark or is she making matters worse? A really good read. Loved it.

That’s a no for me dawg

DNF….The heroine was TSTL. Everything was drawn out in excruciating ways like this review. Save yourself the trouble of thinking it’s gotta get better. Cause it doesn’t.

It was okay. The plot was good but the story transitions were choppy. Also seemed rushed. the story could have been more developed.

Timeline was a bit weird

Good book, but it kept jumping all over the place. Sometimes it was hard to keep up. I liked the characters though.
