I probably shouldn’t be in someone’s office that I don’t know, filming content for my site, but I quite like the view it affords me, and I really like that leather chair.
I like it even more when the owner of the office turns out to be my grumpy, buttoned up boss, and he catches me in the act. Literally.
He’s not happy about it, but he doesn’t leave, and I don’t stop.
Suddenly, he’s around all the time. Watching me. Taunting me. Teasing me.
It soon becomes a game. A game only we play.
We are opposites in every single way. He can never be seen with someone like me, and I will never be enough for him.
But the more we are around each other, the more I want to give him.
Maybe we can see where this leads if our hearts don’t get broken first.

Camboy Leo gets caught using his boss's office to film content and his boss sticks around to lend a hand. The concept was hot, particularly because Cora and Nicole tossed in a biawakening for Heath, Leo's boss. Loving Leo is a breezy boss/employee, age gap (22/35), rich/poor, businessman/camboy, biawakening romance.
Having him here watching me is making me nervous.
“Here,” he says, stepping toward me and wrenching the bottle from my useless fingers. He uncaps it and then dribbles some on my dick, making me gasp.
“Alright, get to it,” he says.

I devoured this book in 2 sittings and overall I liked it a lot. The chemistry between Leo and Heath was really hot and apparently I'm developing a thing for the boss/employee trope because between Cora/Nicole, Alessandra Hazard and Lily Morton, there have been some memorable and hot books in the last couple years! With that said, I have read better books by both authors and while this was a fun, enjoyable read, it won't be particularly memorable for me. Quinn tells Heath two things that he would be very hurt by if Heath were to ever do them, and when Heath almost immediately does one of those things, Quinn is super forgiving in a way that was dissatisfying to read. I don't like overblown drama but if you tell your partner not to do a specific thing and then they do that very thing, I'd expect more than a sincere yet blah apology. There were some loose ends left dangling, and the ending felt a tad rushed and anticlimactic. The chaotic himbo character is getting very oversaturated and the hee hee fart joke, burp fart burp booger thing isn't my preferred type of humour. I am still a fan of both authors but this one missed the mark for me.

uhm so i knew this was going to be bad when a wall broke and they decided to describe it as “white dust from the walls puffing up around us like cocaine.”
it’s… definitely a choice.

but then the sister had to explain to the main character that low income people are still people and i just… wanted to die.
extreme, i know, but it is what it is.

the rest of the book is questionable at best.

I’m obsessed with this series, and Loving Leo was so good!! I loved these two, Leo and Heath are just so freaking adorable together, with smoking hot chemistry. I can always count on it being such a fun story, with plenty of laughs and lots of sexy time while reading a Cora Rose and Nicole Dykes collaboration.

So, August was right. 😄👍

August is my AI and in the effort of not wanting to read yet another book that'll push me into a definite reading slump, I gave him this book to read, asked him if it's something I'm really going to like (because he knows my preferences) and the answer was that yes, I'll like it and it'll make me feel better because it's funny and romantic.

And it's definitely true, it's true! I really liked this book.
I can't give it more than 4⭐ because of a somewhat abrupt ending and no epilogue, but overall I really enjoyed this story.

🟡 A janitor - camboy / CEO
🔵 Poor, working class / rich as hell
🟣 A smaller size difference (blonde/dark; both athletic)
🟢 Age gap 22/35
🟠 No angst, some conflict near the end but it's quickly resolved, no break up
🔵 Gay/bi-awakening
🟡 Love the cover (the other one), the guy's hot af
🟣 Funny, sexy, playful, all good
🌶️ Descriptive smut; oral, penetrative; a lot of kissing, cuddling, comforting; t/b

"“I’m thirty five, you little shit.”
“Oh god,” I moan. An older man. An age gap. He’s the sexiest thing on two legs around."

The big age gap actually didn't bother me one bit, even though I'm not really into age gap relationships. The dynamic between Leo and Heath was so good and natural, they just fit together, it was a good pairing. The chemistry was effortless and intense and the feelings that were developing were strong and believable.

Leo is a cam boy who's trying to work for Carter and he's making videos jacking off in various public places. He's working part time as a janitor and he's recording in a CEO's office, which would be Heath, the 35-year old rich guy who's prim and proper (reminds me of a Virgo guy). He's out of a long, straight relationship and engagement, he's really not that much into sex and doesn't feel like he's passionate or enthusiastic as other people are about relationships.

...Until he randomly meets Leo, who's recording himself jerking off in Heath's office and doesn't stop once Heath comes in.
And doesn't stop any other day after that.
Then Heath starts intentionally coming in.
Then Heath starts coming.

"I can’t help but think about what it would be like to push inside of him. Not his mouth, but his tight ass. To finally know what it would be like to sink inside of his willing body. He wouldn’t just be lying there, bored and unbothered. He’d be hot for it, writhing. He’d want it so much. He’d beg for me to fuck him harder. So hard it would rattle the desk, the chair, the entire room."

There really isn't anything that I didn't like. They were both such likeable characters who provided the right amount of entertainment, hotness and emotional depth that I felt really good reading their story.

Soon to be boyfriends, which also happened in such a sweet way, I just

"I preen and then wiggle on top of him. A boyfriend. Well, fuck. Who saw that coming? Not me, that’s who. “Okay, I guess we could just say that’s what we are. Casual, you know. Nothing serious.”

He grins and leans up, kissing me softly. “Sure. Nothing serious. Casual monogamy it is.”"

If America really does ban romance books, I'm gonna lose it. This shit got me out of my years-long depression, amongst other things. This is insane, is what it is. I'm following the whole situation, the proposition was made in Oklahoma to ban books with explicit content and they're very dead set on doing it.

Let's hope a year from now I'll still be able to read my smut.

Leo is 22, gay, the child of a single mother. He struggles financially, he lives in a apartment that should be condemned with a roommate. He wants financial security for him and his mom, so he works two jobs, one as a janitor, the other as a camboy, while he studies nursing because he's planning for a secure future and he knows camboying won't be forever. He's a smart and kind person. He is relatively new to camboying and he wants to work for Carter. His schtick is that he films solo videos in risky public places, making videos in the places where he works as a janitor.

One night, Leo decides to record a video in an office, and the occupant of the office, Heath, discovers him. He's surprised when Heath lets him get away with it. But Heath sets up a camera in his office and leaves notes which at first are supposed to be a deterrent. But Leo is a cheeky little s*** and very much attracted to Heath, so he pushes his luck and turns his nightly recording sessions into a teasing game with Heath. It escalates and Heath goes from deterring it to facilitating it, to participating in it.

Heath is 35, a CEO with parents that are rich and neglectful and controlling. He has recently broken up with his fiance Lana who cheated on him. He questioned his sexuality as a teen, but he's never been with a man, despite that early curiosity he never let himself seriously consider it because he was so busy trying to fill the shoes his parents wanted him to. His sex life has not been satisfying, so he may be gay and not bi. They are very much opposites, socio-economically and they are at different stages in their life given the 13-year age gap. And with Heath's disapproving parents, they shouldn't work on paper.

This book was delightful, feel good escapism. I laughed a lot and I highlighted a lot of moments I admired: funny, cute, sweet, and emotional/mature moments. Leo was a sweetie pie, a good son, and he was an energetic sunshiny little s*** and I loved that. There's something special about an MC calling their love interest a little s*** and then proceeding to fall for them. I love seeing a grump become a squishy marshmallow for their little s***.

Heath's sister Selena was delightful. I loved how she teased yet supported Heath, she cackled at him and weedled information out of him, it was a fun brother/sister dynamic.

One thing that was completely refreshing was how when the third act conflict hit, Leo was mature, and that he trusts their relationship, and knows that Heath didn't intend to hurt him and he just needs to wait for them to get a chance to talk. Too often in books, at the first hint of something like this, people stop trusting their partner, and the miscommunication trope explodes. Good communication is such a mark of maturity and a sign that a couple has a solid foundation and can last. I hate the miscommunication trope because it usually reveals that the relationship is very superficial and a couple doesn't know each other well or trust each other, and it makes me not respect the relationship and often think the characters are just dumb.

One tiny complaint, I know Leo's mom has aged prematurely because of everything she's been through in her life. But it was a little dramatic how she talked about being old and how Heath didn't reassure her that she wasn't. Leo's mom had Leo at 16 so she is 38, maximum 39 years old. There's only about 3 years difference between her and Heath.

Some notable moments:

"“You’re shitting me.” Carter says with a happy little laugh and I glare at him in amusement. “You jacked off in front of the CEO of the company in his building?” He’s downright giddy now, clapping his hands together and wiggling in his seat. “That’s fucking gold, Leo.”"

I really hope Asher and Jack get a story, they were very entertaining side characters. "“He’s not a murderer. He’s just a weird guy with a woodworking hobby.” Asher doesn’t look so sure, but I am. “He’s our roommate now anyway. The hole in the wall says so.”"

I am weak for platonic touch, for MCs that happily snuggle. "“A post dinner snuggle, oh god,” he moans and then climbs between my legs, resting his back against my chest. “You’re really spoiling me, Heath.”"

*FYI about steam: I rate steam based on a combination of quality & quantity. I note kink separate from steam because I don't want to underrate steamy reads that don't have much kink.

**Note about spoilers: I like to comment on the plot of a book in reviews, so I almost always mark my reviews as containing spoilers. But I try to avoid spoiling the big dramatic moments! As a reader, I personally like to know what I'm getting into before I read a book so I know more about the content and if it's to my taste/mood, so I try to give that information in my reviews for myself when I'm considering rereading and also for other readers.

This book was kind of bonkers. I feel like I lost a few brain cells reading it tbh 😂 It was shallow waters start to finish. The most redeeming thing about it was the audiobook, which was honestly the entire reason I started this series in the first place.

Cooper North and Zane Daniels --- SOLD 🤣

The amount of books I let myself get sucked into because of the audiobook could fill a stadium at this point. Anyway, it was a quick, mindless listen, and I had a good time with it despite all the ways it could've been better. Leo and Heath were super cute together, so I can't be too mad it.

1.5 stars, rounded. What? This was so rushed, it’s not even funny. I wasn’t a fan of Heath’s personality, but Leo was alright I guess. Still, it’s like authors are opposed to having longer, thought-out stories or something. Anyways.

Loving Leo is the fourth book in the Behind the Camera series. This boss/employee MM romance story is about Leo and Heath.

Leo is a newer camboy who has been filming content in unsuspecting offices while working on the night shift as a janitor. Heath is a grumpy CEO who might not be as straight as he thinks he is. When Heath heads to his office late one evening, he catches Leo filming on his leather chair. Although Heath finds Leo to be bratty and deviant, he is also very intrigued by him. Heath has not been with a man before, and when he finally gives in to Leo, it was great seeing Heath find happiness. These two may have been opposites, but they had great chemistry and I loved seeing how things turned into so much more.

This book felt more like a standalone compared to the others in this series, especially since we didn’t get to see all of the characters from the previous books. We did get introduced to some new characters, and of course they made this story even more enjoyable.

I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but I will say I wish there was less mention and comparison of an ex. Also, my heart hurt for Leo at the end, and it felt like things were resolved a little too quickly for me. Overall, I really enjoyed Leo and Heath’s story and I thought it was a great addition to this amazing series.

I received an advanced copy of this book, and this is my honest review.

This was….not good. And wildly unmemorable. Leo is your typical himbo mc, a shower has a deeper personality. Heath tried to be the moody/grumpy and repressed mc but it fell incredibly flat. And the fact his sister had to explain that poor people had thoughts and feelings was a wild dialogue to put in your book.

No plot, not even vibes

I've always admired Cora and Nicole's individual writing styles, and I thoroughly enjoy their solo works. However, their collaborative efforts possess a unique charm that captivates me from the very first page. I eagerly anticipated the next installment in this series, and it certainly did not disappoint. Leo and Heath, as a couple, are both incredibly endearing and irresistibly hot, and their story is truly captivating.

We are reintroduced to Leo, a budding camboy from previous books in this series, who is striving for his big break on a video platform to join Carter's exclusive camming website. While he boasts impressive viewership, it's not yet enough to secure a spot alongside Carter and his elite group. Nevertheless, Leo remains incredibly positive and unwavering in his passion. He moonlights as a janitor in an office building, where he secretly records his videos in one of the offices, which unbeknownst to him, happens to be the boss's office. One day, he is caught red-handed by the boss, and you might expect him to be immediately fired. However, the ensuing events unfold in a series of surprisingly hot and endearing escapades.

Heath, the boss, and Leo share an undeniable chemistry from their very first encounter. Their witty banter, shared candy moments, and "not-dates" are all exquisitely written, leaving me utterly smitten. Despite his initial belief that he is straight, Heath cannot deny the powerful attraction he feels towards Leo and the profound impact Leo has on him. Their happily ever after is deeply satisfying, and I particularly appreciate the unwavering support they receive from their incredible friends.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to all readers and eagerly anticipate the arrival of Asher and Jack's story.

I just finished up Loving Leo, the latest camboy trying to get on Carter's site. Leo does ✨️solo✨️ work in places he shouldn't. The fans & subscribers like the thrill of it all. He meets Heath, the other mc, when Heath walks in on Leo filming... in Heath's office chair 👀 after hours.

I won't spoil any of it. Needless to say: Heath was an interesting character. Too much for money to have much sense, but wanting to be a good person. And lord was he SAD. Like, give the guy an SSRI and a hug. Leo was the sunshine, bringing laughter and candy and sweetness and LIFE into Heath's day to day.

Leo seemed like the kind of character who I'd want to be friends with. Absolutely ridiculous, sparking with vitality and shenanigans. And boy, did he fall for Heath.

These two had to navigate a CEO/camboy•janitor situation. They had the whole financial disparity thing going on, and Leo refused to let Heath "save him." They also had Heath's whole "I'm straight" added to the mix. But you can tell it's all in his head, Heath's parents really did a number on him.

Since this was a Cora/Nicole story, there was some FUNNY shit happening, too. Leo's apartment, roommate, and neighbor had me DYING DEAD from cackling.

LOVING LEO was an entertaining story in a universe I adore 🩷 and it comes out January 24th!

This didn't read like the other books in the series. It felt like a complete standalone. If it hadn't been for the brief mentions of Carter from Reaching Reed, this could have been written completely outside of the series.
I love Leo, he is sweet, funny, and adventurous. He deserves the world. The ending felt rushed, and maybe it's because the drama from the end was barely resolved before it finished. If it weren't for the ending, it might have been a 4 ⭐ read. I wanted to like it. I really did. It had me in the first half, but lost me in the end.

Oh wow, this book is not kidding around.. good lord that scene in the first chapter is hot, specially the way they run into each other. This story is fabulous, instantly likeable characters, brilliant humour and lots of sweet adorable moments that put a smile on my face

I devoured this book, such an easy sweet read, with super hot spice that was intrinsic to the plot. Heath and Leo were wonderful together, Leo struggling under the practicalities of building a better life for himself and his mom, I was in awe of his energy and resilience and Heath who has been betrayed and still saddled with the baggage of his upbringing. These two were perfect for each other and their story played out wonderfully, steady build, nothing dramatic and I loved the character growth for both of them. I just couldn’t get enough I wish we had more of them.
I adore Selena and I love Asher and Murdery Neighbour, Jack - I hope they get a book. I would read that so fast.

Expect:
* Camboy
* Exhibitionism
* Fast burn
* High High heat
* Grumpy sunshine
* Tonnes of LoL moments
* Hurt comfort
* Found family
* Sexual awakening
* First times
* Workplace romance
* Possessive MC

I love this series, and as a huge fan of Cora in general, I always devour any new words she graces us with. Loving Leo was no exception! This story is cowritten with the fabulous Nicole Dykes.
Leo is a confident cheeky young cam boy trying to make it big in the camming world. And what does every single business venture need? The edge over the competition, something different, something to make you stand out, Leo’s take on that is quite unique. His latest clip leading him to c chance and very unique first meeting with Heath.
At first Heath appears to be grumpy and shit off, but in reality, he’s just a man who is done with everyone’s s**t.
These two embark on a unique “friendship” that leads to a beautiful relationship.

story of Heath and Leo

This is a boss x employee to more romance, featuring Leo and Heath, and is book four in the Behind The Camera series.

Leo is a janitor and aspiring camboy. He films himself in other people’s offices during his breaks and things are going pretty well for him until someone catches him mid act.

In walks in Heath and he catches Leo, in the middle of some self love, on this leather chair, in his office - and he doesn’t stop him or look away. Although Heath tries to deny it, he is intrigued by Leo and things just get even more bizarre, steamy and intimate from there.

This story is low angst, steamy, spicy, funny and sweet. Leo and Heath have the most unusual meet-cute but it works for them and Heath becomes quickly possessive of Leo, all whilst having a bi-awakening and supporting Leo becoming a camboy. Loved that about this couple, no one had to give up on their goals to be together.

There are some great side characters in this - Leo’s roommate, Asher, and Heath’s sister, Selena, are hilarious. And the mysterious neighbour, Jack, yep I’m going to need to know more about him.

Heath’s parents are typical snooty rich people, glad he sorted them out.

I don’t know if I’ve said this enough in the past, but I absolutely adore Nicole Dykes and Cora Rose, I can’t get enough of them.

And I love this series, highly recommend it.

Things to expect in this book are:
Book 4 in series
MM romance
CEO x Janitor/Camboy
Rich / Poor
Age gap (35/22)
Grumpy / Sunshine
Caught in the act
Voyeur x Exhibitionist
Leaving notes & treats

Snotty parents

Oh Leo...you are such a bratty, sweet dude (Heath isn't getting toothaches from the candy alone. lol). Heath is a hulking, grumpy cinnamon roll who must be protected.

Together, these two are a scorching hot couple who are so thoughtful and sweet with one another. I absolutely loved their notes, texts and banter. And their spice scenes were so well done and so hot.

I will definitely read the rest of the series (side note: I didn't have any trouble understanding things, so you should be fine starting on book 4) and I highly recommend this one!

How was this so good and funny and hot all at the same time?!!

Somehow this fourth book felt very different from the first three. In a good way, don’t worry! You get Leo, the brattiest of them all, and I just loved him so much. He’s fully himself, not shame and no second thoughts, and I just loved his sunshine. Heath is the definition of an unhappy man denying himself for too long. The way he just fell head first in love with Leo was the cutest, he has no chance to avoid developing feeling from the start.

Also can we talk about the side characters? Selena was hilarious, and I NEED a book about Jack and Asher like asap!!!
