Kaliningrad: Land of Mystery Misery and White Gold

Rate this book
Brian Murphy lived an idyllic, apple pie, American life until … Well, that’s the story.

The calm of his life was interrupted by a storm of intrigue, scientific discovery, heartbreak, and a battle for elusive riches. This former Navy SEAL found himself interacting with communist agents, the CIA, European heads of state and a variety of greedy business moguls. He was lonesome, but love was within reach, or was it?

Eastern Europe was the backdrop for this drama. In particular, one strange, but real, small piece of land that seemed misplaced by world cartographers. This strange place is named Kaliningrad.
