When a bad breakup leaves Khendra reeling, she and her best friend Cherelle rent a 1920s bungalow in the heart of South Central LA. They're determined to make the place a home despite a handful of strange occurrences and the best efforts of their creepy landlord, an off-putting man with a penchant for gardening and unannounced visits. But when the unexplainable incidents continue to escalate, they're forced to consider that their new home might be haunted. Their faith and friendship are tested as they work together through hoodoo tradition to find--and destroy--the root of their disruption.
