Much too short
Story line was great but you were about 150 pages short of a full story. Characters were talked about like the reader should know who they are. And the story line was not developed nearly enough.

This is more is a light motorcycle gang romance with an interesting storyline with different twists, some action, strong, protective men, humor, brotherhood, loyalty, mystery and hot love scenes. It is an InstaLove and an enjoyable quick read. HEA.

This book had it all! Insta love, suspense, action, found family, MC and spy just to name a few. I really liked this premise, it was exciting and held my attention all the way through. Definitely a page turner! King was a former operative turned MC president who was OTT protective and possessive in all the right ways. Stella had been trained by her CIA father (King’s former partner) since birth on how to protect herself. She was the perfect mix of bad ass and vulnerable, but only around King. I loved that he brought out that side in her, and allowed her to let go of life’s responsibilities without stifling her. It was steamy and tender and I loved it all! Such a great start to a new series, while still being connected to all the other MC’s. Some cameos from previous MC books as well, and I can’t wait to see them more throughout this series. No cheating or OM/OW drama, virgin FMC, lite breeding kink, touch her and die vibes, HEA and two epilogues in the future. We got a hint of what’s to come in Blaze’s book, and I cannot wait to see what happens!

I really like that Stella was such a badass…but it would’ve been much cooler if we actually got to see her in action at least a little.
The mission that King had, went on just a little too long for such a short book, I think.

Not my favorite FD book. So many names being thrown out, I was confused. I skimmed a lot, several parts were just boring. I felt like I was not reading a Fiona Davenport story.

Quickie Review: If you are looking for a quick read to get your quota in before the end of the year, don’t just grab this book, grab the whole series. It really is amazing and all these MC men are mouthwatering. And how they go complete alpha over their women has this reader weak. King being no different. Their romance was like all the others, being instant and an age gap and oh so spicy. Something these authors know how to do perfectly. Great story! 5 Stars.

I cluelessly loved it

I did love meeting the new men of Hounds of Hellfire, and I loved "King" and Stella
...what kept me clueless was when we got down to the crux of the drama & all the different CIA operatives... and all their code names and who was guilty and who was what... like I said...clueless.
Lost in the dark with a blindfold and noise canceling earphones ... not that first clue on where I was going.
But it all came up roses in the end, so win-win.

1.5* Way way too short. It’s 102 pages long and it’s so rushed that it totally spoilt it.
That was ridiculously short. Not including the epilogue as that’s set in the future, it’s only 97 pages long. In that 97 pages, we meet Connor/ King the president of the Hell Hounds Mc, who is also ex CIA. When Stella’s father who is in the CIA is missing she is sent to Connor for help. As soon as Connor sees her he knows she’s his, 🙄😂 and is imagining her pregnant with his baby. 😱🙈😡
It’s ridiculous. They’re soon madly in love, and having endless boring s*x, there’s a tiny bit about her dad and that’s it!

Conner "King" and Stella
First off, let me just say—I absolutely love Stella. She’s such a badass, and what makes her even better is that she’s not reckless or foolish. I really appreciated how, when it was time to let the guys take over, she stepped back—not because she couldn’t handle it, but because she knew they were better equipped for the situation. She didn’t fight for control just for the sake of it, and instead, she proved her worth in other ways.
Conner is a man who knows exactly what he wants—and what he doesn’t want—so seeing him completely flustered when he meets Stella was such a fun dynamic. Their chemistry was instant and undeniable, and I loved watching their relationship unfold.
That said, while I enjoyed their story, it felt very rushed. I get that there were extenuating circumstances pushing them together, but I wish they had taken just a little more time before fully committing to forever. A bit more build-up would have made their connection feel even stronger.
Overall, I still really loved the book and their relationship, but I just wish their journey had played out at a slightly slower pace.

Didn’t finish 3/4 in…that’s how irritated and offended I was.
There were several occasions throughout the book where questionable language was used. At one point the CIA agent refers to himself as a “sp**k”. This is an oblivious and ignorant term that could have been easily replaced with a less offensive synonym. The fact that this word was ignored by the editor of this book is shocking. At another point the loving father of the FMC refers to another woman as a “b****” who gets around. Just made my skin crawl.
Some other more cringe worthy moments:
-FMC calls her father Daddy
- Father of FMC literally shakes his fist at MMC
- words are said in unison by a large group of people
- FMC cows to the demands of MMC even as they contradict her own interests and potential aspirations
The author is obviously talented. It’s just a shame that all of these incidents made the cut in this edition of the book.

This book has it all 🔥. The very first book for a new series Hounds of Hellfire and it's already 🥵 as hell.
This book immediately grabs the attention of the readers who love insta-love, action, family, MC and most especially SPY lovers. Seeing King and Stella met under such situations, King didn't believe at love at first sight, but the joke was on him when he see the very first time Stella that he knows that he will do anything for her and their future lives. I love Stella because she is a mixed of vulnerable but bad ass FMC when she neeed to be. Also I love that she can speaks multiple language and she was trained by hey Father who was a Spy.
Their romance was such a hot 🥵, steamy 😍, family oriented and a little bit of suspence. I'm alreay looking forward to the next book 🥰.

Are you are looking for a short, sweet, fast moving and very steamy read to get your quota up on your reading challenge? You are! Then give this page turner a try.
I enjoyed it, even with a few niggles - but I'm putting them down to it being the first book of the new Hounds of Hellfire series and being introduced to the main characters that will appear throughout the series.
Overall I enjoyed this insta-love and an age gap story. If you’re looking for a MC, age gap, protective hero romance, with some crossovers from other MCs by Ms Davenport, then maybe you will to.
I can't wait for the next one in this series...Oh I don't have to - I've already bought the next 3... and the next 2 are due out with a couple of weeks. Can't wait to see what else is instore for The Hounds of Hellfire MC ❤️

What a fun book!! This is the first book of the new Hounds of Hellfire series and we got to see a few people from other Fiona Davenport books as well!
King is fine with his life as president of his MC but everything has to be put on hold with Stella comes to him to help find her father. He then has to step back into his old life as a member of the CIA and help take down a threat he thought he has already dealt with before going home to his women.
Stella's only concern is her father and she will do anything it takes to get to Conner (King) in order to save her father and she does what her father tells her and uses all the tools she has to. Once the dust has settled they will have both found their forever!

When I think of Fiona Davenport, I think of sassy, independent and badass women, possessive and Alpha men and suspense. This is a new series from Fiona and it didn't disappoint. There were all those things plus more! And we get see how King knows Weston, Alex and Nic.
Stella's dad is in trouble so he sends her to the one person he knows can protect her, which is King. King is dealing with being President of the MC and doesn't have time to meet with the girl at the gate (Stella) but after some tears and scared men, he meets with her and falls hard and fast. Now he's on the clock to save her dad and prove to her that he may be MC President but he's gonna be her man too.

Conner meets Stella for 10 minutes and he decides that she is gonna be his wife and will get her pregnant right away !! WTF !!! 10 minutes !!!!
And Stella, who just drove 10 hours and just met Conner accepts to go in Conner's bedroom and just wait there like a fool for hours. She just goes to sleep and ends up all over him while asleep !!!
Then, they have sex without protection, of course !! She's a virgin but doesn't tell Conner !!
Just NO !!! It's not instalove, it's insta HEA x 1 000 !!!
My eyes rolled so much I thought they'd get stucked behind my head !!!

This one is a page turner!
I loved the intrigue and the storyline that delivered Stella to King and his MC club, and how the threat was handled.
This is absolutely an insta-love, (that this author duo does SO well) but also a really entertaining and addictive read. I liked that Stella was strong, but smart enough to let these MC brothers do what they do best. Ooh! And the steamy chemistry between these two is very enjoyable 😉.
I recommend reading this one, and the other associating MC series, as there are fun crossovers that you'll want to read.
I can't wait for the next one in this series.....❤️

So excited for another MC series from Fiona Davenport and this one did not disappoint!!! Connor “King” Kingsley is the Prez of the Hounds of Hellfire MC. Stella Ford is the daughter of a CIA operative and comes to Connor for help.
True to FD style, Connor who hasn’t thought about a woman in years immediately is struck stupid and falls head over a$$ for Stella. I loved that Stella gave King a run for his money, but at the same time she also seemed to catch on quickly to the MC lifestyle and was the perfect old lady for him.
I liked the operative aspect that was intertwined with the story! This was a great opener to a series and paved the way for plenty of books to come!!

This was such an amazing start to a new series. King was absolutely perfect. He never saw himself settling down. He had a pretty hard life growing up and the MC is where he found he belongs and he loves it. That all changed the second he meets Stella. Right away they are so enamored with each other. Stella was awesome too. She was sweet and super smart. She was also brave and really badass. I loved them both so much. The drama and danger was perfectly written, as was the incredible steamy scenes between them. This was instalove perfection.

This is book number 1 of the Hounds of Hellfire MC series and focuses on Connor and Stella. Stella was very close with her father who happened to be in the CIA and when he missed multiple check-ins with her, she followed the protocol set in place by him. This protocol led Stella to going to the Hounds of Hellfire MC and getting help from Connor. Connor is the president of the MC and as soon as he meets Stella, he immediately knows that Stella is his and that he has to help her find her dad, who happens to be Connors old partner in the CIA. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

The writing style is mature and pensive. This would have been a better story as a longer book. There were some chapters that felt drawn out and moments that were rushed. It felt like an outline to a longer story. The insta-love was tasteful however the relationship was hasty.
I did like the read, but this doesn't encourage me to keep reading this novella series, unfortunately.
I am all for insta love, but the two didn't even have a date or talk all that much before they were "making love."
I wanted more story, more action, and a slightly slower approach to the relationship part.

The passion and chemistry between Connor “King” Kingsley and Stella Ford was undeniable and sizzling. Their banter just added to the spice. They were made for each other. I loved how Stella’s walls crumbled beside King.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a MC, age gap, protective hero romance then you’re going to love it.

It's was a good story for me but could have been great . I needed more . Like what happened with Stella's dad n what about her mom. I hate that she came from divorcee parents . That was a turn-off . I wished we had seen more of Stelle n her skills. Instead, it was all about Conner. N that mission was boring . It was still a good story, but I needed more of Stella n Conner together . Normally, the h gets more storyline, but Stella is like an afterthought character. Sorry, but i just needed more Fiona lol... N, that's shocking from me . I like insta love short stories.

I wished we had seen more of Stelle n her skills. Instead, it was all about Conner. N that mission was boring . It was still a good story, but I needed more of Stella n Conner together . Normally, the h gets more storyline, but Stella is like an afterthought character. Sorry, but i just needed more Fiona lol... N, that's shocking from me . I like insta love short stories.

King and Stella story was great! I am really looking forward to more from this MC! King never thought that he would settle down but on look and conversation with Stella was all that it took. Stella is funny and sweet but also protective and take-charge kind of woman and King is exactly who she needs in her life. I really enjoyed the drama, action, steamy and HEA that this book had to offer and I can’t wait for more.

Another great insta love story. King is the prez of the MC Hounds of Hellfire and a former CIA operative. Stella is the daughter of a CIA friend of King. When her father does not check in with her she follows the plan and seek the help of King to help her father. Once they meet it was love at first sight. King would do anything to protect his woman, and save her father. This love story has everything action, romance, over the top possessiveness that I love. I can’t wait for Blaze to get his HEA. Another job well done ladies, keep them coming!
