Brodie “Echo” Fauks never expected to fall in love with a voice. Then he overheard Violet Kimball narrating a steamy scene in an audiobook while he was running surveillance on a conman who’s run afoul of the Hounds of Hellfire MC.
Violet’s creepy neighbor was the road captain’s target. When Echo discovered the guy had an interest in her, he came up with the perfect plan—pretend to be Violet’s boyfriend. At least until she realized their relationship was very real.

Boring, loads of mistakes, and unbelievable plot that didn’t make any sense.
Not sure how a book that is only 95 pages long dragged so much. It’s just boring and unbelievable. Way too many s*x scenes that I skimmed through them, and a weird plot that didn’t make sense. The author expects us to believe that Echo/Brodie who is a complete stranger to Violet, just moves into her apartment and into her bed, in ONE DAY? OH COME ON! Be serious.
Echo is staking out Violets neighbour, who is involved with conning elderly women out of their money. When he sees Violet he’s instantly taken with her and instantly moves into her apartment. Violet who of course is a shy innocent vir*in (As this author has written all her female characters.) she just accepts that this strange man is moving into her apartment and staying in her bed. He could be a serial killer for all she friggin knows!! Of course they’re soon madly in love, 🥱 and live happily ever after.
There’s a lot of mistakes in this book, and the plot really doesn’t make any sense.
& this is when I started approaching my FD burnout. (Which is 100% my own fault. Nobody told me to binge their catalogue for almost two months straight 🤣)
Anywhooooo…

Echo/Brodie (mmc, former Marine) Violet (20, mfc, audiobook narrator) Jeff (ahole, chameleon)
Echo needs to get close enough to plant cameras in Jeff's apartment. The Hounds are trying to take down a con ring Jeff is involved in, but access is tough. Violet lives next door to creepy Jeff, and Echo uses her obvious dislike of Jeff to make him think Echo and her are dating. Will she go along with it to make Jeff leave her alone? Who's running the con?

I always enjoy Fiona Davenports books for the sole reason that the MMC’s are obsessed instantly with their FMC’s. Do the timelines or actions make sense realistically? Absolutely not, but that’s part of what I like. If you can suspend that part of reality, her books are always great! As soon as Echo heard Violet’s voice, he was interested. But when he saw her photo, he was hooked and knew she was his. He was protective, possessive, tender and loved hard. Violet was sweet, but knew how to sass, and had a spine of steel that made her the perfect old lady. I was like when there interaction with the rest of the club, and when we get a glimpse at the next soon to be couples. No cheating or OM/OW drama, virgin FMC, HEA and 2 epilogues in the future. Can’t wait to read about Wizard and his author and Ace and his girl!
Another brilliant MC offering from Fiona Davenport. We follow Echo whose out on a surveillance job for the Hounds of Hellfire when he hears a voice saying some very dirty things. Asking for a dossier on the neighbour Violet, Echos in trouble because from her voice alone he wants to know more, and as soon as he sees her picture that's it game over. Echo falls hard and fast, but loves Violet and has the urge to protect her just as fiercely. Violet isn't a push over though, she's strong willed and fiesty the perfect match for Echo and for an old lady at the MC.
Brilliant 5/5 stars read, while it can be read as a standalone all the stories interlink with characters and introduce you slightly to the next books MMC. So I recommend reading them in order, you won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to the remaining ones.
Holy chemistry. This was perfect instalove. Echo knew just from her voice. He felt even more at first sight. She awoke something in him he has never felt. Something beyond lust. Love. Same for Violet. She had never given much thought to men. There was never one who did anything for her. Unless you count repulsing her. Lol. They were absolutely perfect for each other. I love these men. They don't get around aka they are celibate. I love that vs the alternative. Violet was feisty when needed to be but also sweet. Echo was super possessive but also took such good care of her. They had a great balance. I laughed and I swooned. I can't wait for the next books.

This series just gets better and better. Echo has been tasked to follow a con artist, who is defrauding people - people who have (in the past) looked to the Hounds of Hellfire MC to help them. As he listens in to conversations, he unknowingly hears Violet as she works, and he falls smitten.
As with all in this MC, the insta-love is overpowering, and Violet becomes his main focus. She is happy to let this protective, handsome man guide her away from danger, and into the protection of his club.
While I do recommend reading in the correct order for the best experience, you can grab this now, and go back. Once done with this club, I recommend reading the others from this talented author duo. Worth your time, IMO.
Echo and Violet have sparks from their first meeting. He’s investigating her neighbor for criminal activities, trying to figure out his boss and said neighbor pursues Violet. When he doesn’t take no for an answer, Echo steps in to get him to back off. He asks Violet to help their investigation. By posing as her boyfriend...but is it really pretend? 💖
Lots of great scenes: I love her being an audio book narrator and all the romance books she has at her home. Echo is a great investigator and taking care of all their equipment to spy on the bad guy. But once the MC crew solves the case, will Violet be left to go back to her normal life?
Another insta-love MC from my favorite author Fiona Davenport.
Echo falls hard and fast after hearing the voice if Violet while stalking her neighbor. While Violet didn't know that someone was listening to her while she was recording. Seeing each other reaction in the hallway, the sparks between both of them was hot as hell. Pretending to be in relationship while Echo knew that he will do anything to protect and love Violet.
As alwyas Echo has the Alpha-Male sydrome just like his brothers in MC. I'm already looking forward to the next book.

I am loving the Hounds of Hellfire Series!! Echo is doing surveillance when he meets Violet! He pretends to be her boyfriend to help her get away from her creepy neighbor but he knows that there is nothing pretend about his feelings for her! Violet is frustrated that her neighbor doesn't seem to take a hint and when Echo jumps in a saves her she doesn't hesitate to let him stay at her apartment to make his surveillance easier and to keep him around a little longer. I doesn't take long for her to realize he never meant to be with her temporary. A must read!!!
Quickie Review: I love this series. And I know we are only 3 books in, but these guys completely own my heart. The romance is insta so if you are not a fan, I don’t recommend. But this gal loves it and knows I will get a fabulous, well written story from this author duo. And y’all, the romance was so hot and so amazing between both Echo and Violet. I just wanted to melt with them. I am already looking forward to the next books to follow, as Davenport set them up nicely. Making me wish they were already out. 5 Stars.
Instalove at its finest. Echo is on surveillance for the MC when he hears Violet’s voice. That’s all it takes. So when she needs rescuing from her creep of a neighbor, Echo steps in as her “fake” boyfriend. Except it’s not fake to Echo, Violet just doesn’t know it yet.
Unlike most of the previous books, Violet wasn’t mixed up in any sort of trouble, and there is minimal drama. Their chemistry is insane and that scene in the sound booth in Violet’s apartment…. Smoking!!!!!
Brodie “Echo” is super possessive but also sweet and so perfect for Violet.
3.5-4* Echo is on surveillance duty when he gets an earful of hotness that has him looking into the girl nextdoor to his mark. Once he sees her picture he knows Violet is his forever. Violet,a narrator by trade, doesn’t know what to think about the biker suddenly appearing to protect her from the creepy dude next to her. I absolutely enjoyed their story with hot hot sizzle and instant feelings. As always the MC brother’s mission is fulfilled and their fun harassing each other never disappoints. Good lite MC read with a lovely HEA.
Another great book in the Hounds of Hellfire MC series. While surveilling a con man Brodie “Echo” Fauks the road captain of the club overhead a steamy voice of the next door neighbor that he instantly fell in love. Violet never liked her creepy neighbor, so she avoided him at all cost. However, one after coming home she could not get the creep to leave her alone. Echo saw this as his chance to claim his old lady and finally catch the conman. The chemistry was intense between them. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
This is the next book in the Hounds of Hellfire MC series and is about Brodie "Echo" and Violet. I really enjoyed this book as there was a little mystery, some spicy times and it had me laughing out loud too. Echo and Violet met and both felt something for each other. He pretended to be her boyfriend to get her away from a creepy guy. From their first encounter, they just clicked..but he's a part of an MC. How will she react when she finds out? How will he react when he realizes what her job is? 5⭐ 3🌶
Brodie hears Violet recording a sexy scene from a book and ‘another one bites the dust’!
The laughter, the hotness, the smarmy next door neighbor and his boss all combine for a really good read. Wizard, Ace and Ash all pitch in to add to the fun! And we get to catch up with other members of the MC something I love about these books!!
Just another good book to read and enjoy from the pair who make Fiona Davenport such a great writer!
Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
I read this book in one sitting and I couldn’t get enough, I loved every second of it. The chemistry and passion between Brodie “Echo” Fauks and Violet Kimball was undeniable and sizzling. They were made for each other.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for an age gap, MC romance then you’re going to love it.
Another great quick read. I really liked Violet, sweet and sassy, as she needed to be. I don't know what it was about the name Brody but it just felt right. As always if you didn't read book 1 you should. All Books by this author really are best when read in order. All books are a fairly quick read but lacks in no way because of it. I am already invested in the next book and it isn't even out yet.

Echo and Violet were hot! I loved the connection and chemistry. I thought Violet was funny AF and did mind that her mouth got away with her sometimes and Echo was there to enjoyed it all. These two were drawn to each other as soon as they met and Echo is willing to anything and everything to get close to his woman. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for Wizard and his author!
I received an e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Another great read in the Hounds of Hellfire MC series. Echo first hears Violet while he’s on a surveillance job. Her voice alone has him asking his brother to look into her. When he gets his first look at her and with her voice, he knows that she is meant to be his. And with her creepy neighbor trying to hit on her, he steps up and does what needs to be done to keep her safe. Can’t wait for the next couple books in the series.
The third book in this MC series that is already one of my favorites. Echo the road Captain of the Hounds of Hellfire MC was on a mission, but he never expected that just by hearing a voice, would find the woman of his life. Violet works as Audiobook Narrator, leads a simple and quiet life, until Echo appears and asks her to help him on his mission. What she did not expect is that what she started as a false relationship between them would quickly become real and forever.
My love/hate read continues! Echo falls for a spicy romance audio book narrator. This is a classic insta love, doesn't make a whole lot of sense MC romance novella. I'm more interested in how Wizard knows the author of one of the books the FMC was the narrator on. Also, it looks like Ash, who I definitely thought was Ace but isn't, may have found his match as well. Such similar names in such a short novella confused me 🙃
I love a ginger, pierced biker. I actually enjoyed that one better than the previous book as there was more story to it! Not just insta love, sexy stuff and a bit of a story! I liked Echo’s story, the banter between the characters and his protective instincts. But I would to read à but less about virgin FMC and more about their badass personalities! Hopefully the next one will differ from the first 3 books!
🔥ARC REVIEW🔥 I absolutely enjoyed this one. Brodie and Violet were such love-able characters! Violets job was one I haven’t seen often in books so that was a lovely! Brodie “Echo” was just so great and the pair’s chemistry was perfect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you Fiona and Instaloveinfluncers for allowing me to read Echo!!
Steamy & fun story! 🔥🌶🔥🌶 I enjoyed Brodie (aka Echo) & Violet's connection. His ears, her voice, a match made in sound heaven! 😉
The guy-banter in this one is fun, too. They love giving each other a hard time in the best ways! Heh. I'm definitely intrigued by the hints to the next couple of guys' stories!
