Alexander, Lord Burlington, has spent ten months coming to terms with being ghosted by the American he could see having a future with. Not to mention Christmas is the one time of year he hates, so the sooner he can escape Valentine Nook, the better.

Haven Wylder tried to forget her week-long fling with the hot Englishman, something made impossible when two lines flashed at the end of a pregnancy test.

Now she’s grappling with motherhood.

Being alone makes it harder and all the more exhausting, but having lost both her parents means she’s determined not to give her daughter the same experience.

She sets out to find the guy who’s taken up way more of her head, and heart, than she intended.

One look at Haven, and Alex casts aside his feelings for Christmas. Instead, he puts his energy into “how to be the best girl dad” and hopes, perhaps, Haven’s sparkle might return. He hasn’t forgotten her smile, the twinkle in her brilliant green eyes, or the way she felt in his arms either.

When he invites them to stay, it’s only a matter of time before the lines are blurred between keeping things platonic and giving in to their undeniable chemistry.

Soon, all that’s left is figuring out how to raise their daughter together from separate sides of the Atlantic.

Haven might have gotten away once, but Alex isn’t making the same mistake twice. He has other plans.

He just needs to convince Haven before she returns to Aspen, and prays she says yes.

The story is really cute and enjoyable, I smiled a lot; the romance is nice, wasn’t that captured by it or felt it that much honestly, because Alex and Haven are good, but I love all the other characters more. All the family moments and all the times they made me laugh are what elevated the book; the siblings’ scenes, the Lando and Holiday snippets, Max screaming “It’s my cousin!” every single time he saw the baby (that kid is hilarious), I adore this family.

P.S. Can’t wait for Hendricks book and from the info we got here I would say I understand why Story was upset, but she didn’t act right toward her best friend and she’s the one who needs to apologize.

P.S.S. Did we spot Miles future love interest? I think so!!

Alex googling “what is a girl dad?” may just be one of the cutest things EVER 🥹🥹

after his initial (very normal) freakout reaction, he’s ALL IN with Haven + Everly and I absolutely LOVED that!

the way Lulu wrote the realities of life with a baby was just so on point 🙃 the struggles to leave the house, the lack of sleep, all of it!

I’m absolutely OBSESSED with the Burlingtons, I love the dynamic between the siblings + their mom, and I can’t wait for the next few books too 😍 the set up for Hendricks + Story, and the hints for Myles - I’m here for them 🙌🏼

It took me a bit to get over being upset with Haven for not telling Alex sooner & having him miss out on the pregnancy/birth.
Alex wasn’t too mad about it, so how could I be? 😅

I do feel like Lulu handled this well, showing Haven’s guilt and regret and the reasons why she resisted.

I definitely recommend reading the prequel novella, Once Upon a Christmas Tree 🎄, to get the set up for this book & series - you don’t have to, but particularly for this book I feel like it adds a lot to show their initial connection 🥰

I opened this book casually and immediately lost the plot because Alex and Haven are addictive.

For a trope that usually isn't my favourite, this accidental pregnancy and surprise baby setup completely won me over. Alex is still the grumpy, Christmas-avoiding lord with a bruised heart when Haven shows up with the baby he never knew about. His shock is messy and real, but the way he steps into fatherhood and lets Everly crack him wide open is unbelievably tender. Watching him soften, try, and fall all over again is one of the most rewarding parts of the story.

Haven brings such a grounded strength to every scene. She is exhausted, protective, and doing her best as a new mom while facing the man she once cared for. The second these two are in the same room again, the energy shifts. Their chemistry snaps back instantly, warm and longing and impossible to ignore.
The snowy cottage mornings, the quiet emotional moments, the banter that keeps slipping into heat, and the infamous icing scene create a reunion that feels both vulnerable and electric.

The Burlington family adds warmth, chaos, and comfort as Alex slowly reconnects with the parts of himself he buried. The story blends tenderness, humor, spice, and a soft thread of healing that makes the whole world feel cosy and alive.

I already want to reread it just to live in this world a little longer.

The perfect continuation of Alex and Haven’s story.

I’ve been waiting for Wylder Ranch since the moment I finished Once Upon a Christmas Tree, and Lulu absolutely delivered. This book is everything I hoped it would be: heartfelt, emotional, a little steamy, and full of that signature Valentine Nook magic.

Alex and Haven’s story picks up ten months after their whirlwind holiday romance, and the reunion is handled beautifully. Haven’s new reality as a single mom felt so authentic, from every exhaustion and tender moment to her fierce determination to give her daughter the best life. And Alex? His first reaction isn’t perfect, but once the truth settles in, he steps up in the most swoon-worthy way. Watching him lean into fatherhood and embrace being a full-on girl dad had me smiling from ear to ear.

The close-proximity setup is pure perfection. Between the banter, the quiet emotional moments, and the flirting, I was absolutely melting—especially since Alex knows exactly what he’s doing with those sweaters. There’s a Christmas tree scene that hit me right in the feels, and one particular scene involving icing that… let’s just say, I’ll never look at a kitchen the same way again.

The Burlington family dynamic continues to shine, with their teasing and support adding warmth to every scene. I love how seamlessly grief, healing, and family are woven into a love story that feels both tender and genuine. Haven and Alex belong together, and watching them find their way back was pure joy.

I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time I was reading. This book left me so happy and deeply in love with this world all over again. I can’t wait for the rest of the Burlington siblings to get their turn.

Thank you, Lulu, for this early ARC and for giving us a story that captures everything I adore about second chances, family, and falling in love again.

- small-town England
- secret baby
- second chance
- forced proximity
- no third-act breakup
- 🌶️🌶️.5/5
- dual pov
- dual narration by Shane East and CJ Bloom

Wylder Ranch picks up about ten months after Once Upon a Christmas Tree, when Haven arrives in Valentine Nook to surprise Alex with his baby daughter. He asks her to stay for a couple of weeks so he can get to know Everly, and those weeks quietly stretch into a couple of months as Christmas approaches.

There is plenty of tension, especially with their forced proximity and Alex’s habit of starting the morning shirtless 🤭. There are also so many heartwarming moments as he bonds with his daughter and reconnects with Haven, becoming the sweetest *girl dad*. Their second chance is a mix of soft, swoony energy with a healthy dose of spice, and yes, he absolutely finds creative uses for icing.

Their growing romance sits alongside festive cheer, chaotic family moments, and a gentle emotional thread as Alex learns to embrace Christmas again after losing his father. It might not be marketed as a holiday romance, but it's the perfect cosy December read.

The audio is exactly what you hope for from these A+ narrators reprising their roles. Shane East moves between sweet and spicy with ease, while CJ Bloom captures Haven's new mom vibe perfectly. They both switch between English and American accents without missing a beat.

Thanks to Valentine PR and Lulu for the early audio copy 🧡.

#Review: *Wylder Ranch* - Lulu Moore - ARC [18+]
4.8/5✨
3/5🌶️

While spending some days at Wylder Ranch, Alexander Burlington and Haven Wylder had a week to remember, filled with passionate moments. But they parted ways without sharing personal details. That would be the first thing Alex would regret, because since that week, Haven was constantly in his mind. What happens when the girl that stole his minds just appears in Valentine Nook, with news that changes everything? How will they handle things now knowing that they are bound by a newborn?

It was incredible to be back to this place so soon after reading 'Valentine Nook'🩵. Alex and Haven were put to a hard test with this unexpected baby, but I can tell you that it was sweetness overloaded to see them all together, even when things weren't that great😅. Everly was such a cute baby and I liked that she was often in the center of attention. This whole story followed the journey of Alex and Haven in parenthood and the difficulties that came with it. Besides that, Alex had to overcome the sorrow he had in his heart after his father passed away. I loved the fact that their connection was slowly putting those broken pieces together and that was also available for Haven too.

A super cute story, with a found family and a accidental pregnancy trope which will melt your hearts! It was super cosy and it was so easy to get lost in this story, having that magnetic pull which was hard to get away from. I truly recommend these books of 'Valentine Nook' series! And I'm super excited for the next one, because of that little hint about the couple which will be starring in the next book.🤭

Thank you so much Lulu Moore and Valentine Pr for accepting me for this ARC🥰.

Wylder Ranch
By: Lulu Moore

I understand why Hendricks fought so hard for Max that it almost killed him in the process. I would burn the world down for Everly, and I’ve only known her for four days.

Alex is so f***ing delicious. There’s literally no other way to put it. He’s a walking, talking f***ing s*x dream. He was the first time I saw him, he is now.

“All I’ve thought about since I left you in Aspen is you. Every f***ing day, Haven. You.”

“I’m yours. You’re mine. And Everly is ours.” “D*mn right.”

This book is everything I wanted and so much more than I knew I needed! When I read Alex and Haven’s first story, Once Upon A Christmas Tree, I feel in love with them and their story. Wondering how they would get there happily ever after. A year later, Lulu did not disappoint!!
Seeing and feeling the raw emotions these two had been going through for the last 10 months, Alex suffering from losing the love of his life. And Haven doing pregnancy by herself and then trying to survive raising a newborn by herself. They both are just trying to survive life. When they are finally reunited and the shock factor passes, seeing these two together is everything! Growing back together, and Alex being the sexy girl daddy that he is! It is just perfection!! I am so extremely satisfied with this story and Haven and Alex getting their so well deserved Happily Ever After! Thank you Lulu! I have fallen so deeply in love with these two, with Valentine Nook and with the Burlington Family!

I've been craving more Alex and Haven since their novella, and this was such a delightful follow-up book. I love how we pick up immediately after they're separated and watch how real their connection was.
the way they reunited... the slow burn... the way they prioritized their girl before anything was amazing. I loveeee Alex as a "girl dad." That man is the greenest flag ever. Also, I just love how ALL the Burlington siblings (and Max, of course) were so supportive.
this was a delightful read. it gave us banter and sexyness, but most of all, it gave us ROMANCE and oh how much I missed that in romance books lately.
ovetall this was in one word... wonderful 🤩

After reading once upon a Christmas tree I have been eagerly awaiting Alex and Haven book.

These two had me wondering how there were going to be together as 5 thousand miles isn’t insignificant, through in an accidental pregnancy we have there book.

Once this book dropped into my kindle I was hooked Lulu as even knows how to draw you into her books it’s so easy to forget about the real world as these two characters have you wanting to turn the page.

Haven she is a strong woman but has no shame showing her vulnerability when she comes to find Alex, watching her grow with her baby and Alex and the rest of the Burlington family made me so happy.

Alex he broke me watching him grow to be the best father a little girl could wish for and seeing him deal with his fear of Christmas with the help of Haven and Everly that made my heart melt.

It’s alway great to see the rest of the Burlington family even better getting a sneak peek at book 3 Honeysuckle lane Hendrix’s book

For me it’s 5 massive 🌟

The way that I have been waiting for Alex and Haven's story is unfair! And then the fact that it met my expectations made up for it haha. This was SUCH a wonderful second chance. I HIGHLY recommend reading the novella to this series to truly understand the relationship these two have. How they were right person, wrong time. The one problem I had with this book was the reason that Haven didn't tell Alex about the baby. She got in her head which who hasn't. I am just glad that she was able to get out of her own way and reconnect with Alex. Alex- what a man. This man who was hung up on the girl he met last year. Who couldn't be with anyone else except for her. Watching him come to the realization that he had a second chance and that he would be tied to Haven forever because of their daughter. He was SO wonderful. He was such a great dad. He was so great to Haven however she would take him while hoping it would be forever. He was so patient with her. And Haven! Our girl Haven needed a helping hand. Being a mom is HARD, and I have a partner. Watching her come to the realization that what she shared with Alex last year was real was wonderful! These two were so great together. They made each other stronger. They built each other up.

Haven has decided to put aside her pride and introduce her daughter to her father. The man that Haven essentially ghosted after the most wonderful week she had ever experienced. She convinced herself it couldn't be real between them. He was basically English royalty. But now she needs his help, and she recognizes that it is the right thing to do. What she didn't expect was to have ALLL the feelings when she sees Alex again. What she didn't expect was him to walk out the door in a huff. She didn't expect to see the hurt in his eyes with how she let him go so easily. What she didn't expect was him asking her to move in with him for a little bit. He wants to get to know his daughter. He wants to help her. Haven doesn't think he still finds her attractive. He can't...right? But then the more time she spends with him the more she can't deny the feelings that are still lingering. She can't deny the way her body remembers how he made her feel. She can't deny how much he is helping and putting his life on hold for her and their daughter. So she puts herself out there. She gives into the feeling and realizes that what they shared a year ago has only gotten better. She realizes she wants to try to be a couple. She wants to figure out how to make this work. But can they do it? They live across the world from each other. But what she has learned about Alex is he doesn't give up easily. And he wants this to work too.

Alex has been pining after Haven for a year now. He doesn't know what went wrong. They had SUCH a connection, and then she basically ghosted him. So for her to be in his town with a baby that is his is a dream but also makes him realize she let him go. How is he a father and didn't know until now? Of course he reacts poorly, but then he realizes this is an opportunity for him. Haven is here for him. And he is going to make the best of that. He asks her to move in with him. He wants to get to know his daughter. He wants to help. He still wants her and maybe this is how he can get her. Even if she has made it clear that she wants to be friends. How he can he just be friends with the woman he can't stop thinking about? Especially when she looks at him like that still. But he will be what she needs in hopes that she wants more. And the more they spend together getting ready for the holidays, the more he sees that she does want more. She fits in so well with his family. She just fits. So when she starts talking about going home, he starts thinking about how he fits into this. Because one thing he knows is that he is not letting Haven walk away again. He will follow her anywhere.

I REALLY like this series! Lulu does such a great job with the buildup. It was almost better in this one because you knew how good they already were together. I found myself giddy and waiting for them to get out of their own way. I also found myself smiling SO big when Haven finally realized that she deserved to be loved the way that Alex loved her and that is was genuine. I definitely recommend this series and this book if you are looking for a cozy holiday book!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 — Wylder Ranch by Lulu Moore
🌶️🌶️/5

I AM SO OBSESSED WITH THIS SERIES I COULD SCREAM. These books have me ready to pack my bags and immigrate across the pond to live out my English-country-side-love-story-fantasy.
The Valentine Nook world has officially taken up residency in my brain rent-free. Lulu Moore has crafted one of my top favorite romance series, and the chokehold she has on me at this point? Embarrassing.

Wylder Ranch (Book 2) takes us back to Haven & Alex — after the prequel novella gave us their taste of magic and Book 1 made us WAIT. (Honestly the torture??? But so worth it.)

This whole series is a set of interconnected standalones set in the quaintest little English town, full of British aristocracy, witty banter, and family chaos in the best way.
And somehow, Lulu makes every character feel so real, you forget they’re fictional.

My Thoughts:

✨ First of all… the newborn era rep?? Spot. On.
Our FMC feels exactly like every sleep-deprived, love-soaked mom has felt — overwhelmed, emotional, and holding on to every tiny magic moment. Lulu’s writing makes you feel it with her. As a mom, it hit me right in the chest.

✨ This book is the perfect November/December read — warm, emotional, funny, cozy, and full of those little moments that make you smile through tears.

✨ And Alex Burlington?? HELLO??
He hasn’t been with anyone since her?!?
Top. Tier. Book. Boyfriend. Material.
I adored him in the novella and somehow love him even more now.

✨ Why not 5 stars? Only because I didn’t love the final chapter — it didn’t land for me the way I hoped.
BUT the epilogue? The sweetest little bow to wrap it all together.

Overall: This series owns me. I cannot recommend it enough if you love cozy romances, small-town vibes, aristocratic chaos, and MMCs who stay obsessively loyal to their girl.

Bring on the next Valentine Nook book because I’m not okay!!!

I read a secret-baby book and I liked it-and I didn’t even cry! Yay for me!
But seriously, Lulu Moore did something no one else has done: she made me enjoy two Christmas books.
Wylder Ranch was the perfect continuation of Alex and Haven’s story.
Typically, in a secret-baby book, I always blame one of the main characters for the heartbreak, but here I understood both sides, and I couldn’t be mad at either of them. The book is full of raw emotion, and you can’t help but root for both Alex and Haven to find happiness.
I loved Alex as a girl dad- he was so precious.
Haven grew so much throughout the story. She did so much for her daughter that you couldn’t help but be amazed by her.
I love how the family instantly opened their hearts to Haven and Everly. Found family is a top-tier trope.
The fact that we got another surprise pregnancy shocked me, but I’m not mad about it. It made sense for Haven, and I think it was the perfect way for her to reach her dream of having a big family. I only wish we’d gotten a few more scenes with Alex during her second pregnancy.
With every little sneak peek into Hendrick’s story, I grew more and more curious about him. Max is going to be such a cutie -I just know it. I’m very excited for the next book.
Also, very important: if I had to choose a favorite secondary character, it would be Churchill the goat.
Thank you, Valentine PR, for this ARC -I had such an amazing time reading Wylder Ranch.

There’s a reason why Lulu Moore is one of my favourite authors and books like this are the reason why!

I LOVED Wylder Ranch! I loved the tropes (secret baby, second chance), I loved the setting (small English village) and most of all I loved Haven and Alex!!

We first meet these two in Once Upon a Christmas Tree, a prequel to the Valentine Nook Chronicles (you don’t have to read it beforehand, but I definitely recommend you do because it’s the cutest holiday novella).

This series feels so close to everything I love, so every book is an absolute treat to read!

I inhaled their story.

We might have waited a year for their story, but Alex and Haven were worth the wait. I love how they reconnected and found a deeper connection - more than just their insane chemistry - it was just pure sweetness.

I loved how this part of their story connected and paid homage to their spicy novella. It could have been played off as the start of how they met, but with all the moments and gestures that carried over, it was just so beautiful.

Thank you Lulu and Valentine PR for an advanced copy.

e-ARC review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐✨✨❤️✨❤️!!!!! thank you Valentine PR and Lulu❤️❤️❤️

One of the things I love most about Lulu’s writing is how she handles difficult topics without falling into unnecessary drama. This story has an unexpected pregnancy, distance, a secret that could easily have turned everything into chaos. But she writes it with such gentleness and honesty that you don’t feel overwhelmed. You feel understood. It’s quiet, warm, and deeply human. So before anything else, I have to say it: Lulu did something truly beautiful here.

This book acts almost like the second half of the prologue to the world of The Valentine Nook. And I’ll be honest, I thought Alexander and Heaven’s story would come much later. They were the doorway into this universe, the first whisper of what was coming. But getting their story now felt surprising in the best way.

Alexander is the second-born son of this old English family with country roots. He’s thirty-two and had already convinced himself he’d be a bachelor for life. Then, ten months ago, he met a woman who stayed with him long after she walked away. Not just in memory. In feeling. But she was in the United States, and he was in England, and life has a way of placing oceans exactly where you don’t want them.

Months later, Heaven returns to town. And she’s not alone. She arrives with Everlynn, a six-week-old baby, and everything Alexander thought he understood about his life shifts at once. Becoming a father overnight is not simple. It shakes the ground under you. It forces you to look at yourself, your fears, your past, your future.

Heaven is twenty-five and owns a ranch Alexander once hoped to buy. After her parents died, she was left with overwhelming debts and responsibilities no one her age should have to face alone. While others her age were exploring the world and discovering themselves, she was working to save what was left of her family’s legacy. And when she finally reached a place where she could breathe again, Alexander came into her life. What happened between them was real, unplanned, and somehow inevitable. And Everlynn is the proof of it.

This is where the story deepens. Heaven has lived in silence, with no one to lean on. Not physically alone, but alone in the way that matters. The kind of loneliness that means there is no one to say, “Look,” when something beautiful happens. Meanwhile, Alexander, who seems to have everything, has been carrying grief for his father’s death for more than twenty years. A quiet grief that never left him.

Becoming a father opens something in him that he didn’t know was closed. It allows him to remember, to forgive, to soften. And Heaven, in his world, finds something she has never had: a place to belong. This is why the story feels so deeply like found family. Not the dramatic kind. The real kind. The kind where two people choose each other not because they need saving, but because they recognize the same ache, the same longing, the same hope.

He finds peace. She finds home. And Everlyn is the bridge that lets both things happen. This story doesn’t shout. It rests. It settles into you slowly. It feels like warmth. Like something soft returning after a long winter.

And that, to me, is the most beautiful kind of love.

*****

From the prequel to this series (Once Upon a Christmas Tree), I already knew what this book was about and you have no idea how much I looked forward to it, I can tell you that it was completely worth the wait!!!

I loved the story of Alex and Haven, sure, at first we see Alex as hesitant, but that's UNDERSTANDABLE and anyone who says otherwise will have to deal with me. This book was beautiful, their relationship, how it grew, how they loved little Everly more and more, how the whole Burlington family loved Everly and Haven so much. I LOVED EVERYTHING. I couldn't find anything wrong with it and that's what always happens to me with Lulu's books, they're just perfect for me.

It was those little things, those little everyday scenes that made me love Alex so much, it was every word, every action, that made this character my favorite in the whole series (waiting for the others to see if I change my mind).

📌 I received an e-arc, and this is my honest opinion/review of it.

I absolutely loved Lulu Moore’s new book, Wylder Ranch. The story brings together emotion, vulnerability and the warmest holiday moments. It’s the kind of read that keeps you hooked from the very first page.

I loved that even though the trope is secret baby, the father doesn’t lose years of his child’s life. He finds out just a few weeks after the birth. That doesn’t stop him from feeling guilty anyway. The shock is huge, so Alex’s initial reaction is understandable — even Haven gets it. But I really enjoyed watching him step into the role of father so quickly. Adorable! And incredibly caring!

🎄“I wake up wrapped in two hundred pounds of Englishman, feeling a hundred pounds lighter.”

Although I liked both characters, Alex definitely stood out more for me. I loved how confident he is, but also how open he is about his feelings for Haven. He doesn’t give up easily, yet he’s patient — maybe too patient, if you ask Haven. The heroine’s initial reluctance doesn’t last long, but it adds depth to the story and creates the foundation for a more layered reading experience. Their relationship develops beautifully and I adored every moment with the two of them — and with little Everly.

🎄“I always want to be here. I don’t ever want you to feel like you’re on your own. I don’t want to miss out on moments like this.”

I fell even more in love with Valentine Nook in this book and a part of me kept hoping Haven would fall for that place too, even though I understood her connection to Aspen. The Burlington family has grown so close to my heart, and I really hope we’ll get to read about the other members as well, especially Hendricks. Or maybe Miles? Book two in Lulu Moore's Valentine Nook Chronicles, Wylder Ranch, continues Lord Alexander Burlington and Haven Wylder's whirlwind romance that was started in Once Upon a Christmas Tree and brings their love to its intended conclusion for a sweet and memorable read!

Since Alex last saw Haven Wylder he had spent his time perfecting his grump and pining away for the girl he could not forget. Alex put on a good front of crankiness but underneath it all was a man wanting to experience the joy in life and occasionally smile. Hard working and serious Alex was a romantic at heart and Haven just needed to be found and give him the chance to show it!

Haven Wylder thought she was finally getting ahead of life until she unexpectedly found herself alone and pregnant after an unforgettable Christmas fling with Alex. Finding that even the strongest of people sometimes need help, Haven was excellent at setting her priorities straight even if she still had a bit of a hormonal fog resulting in a temporary lapse of judgement like telling Alex she was pregnant until way after the fact. Haven was good at recognizing her strengths and weaknesses and being supportive of those she loved.

The sweet insecurity of Alex and Haven's love story muddled through the ups and downs of unexpected and new parenthood and closed the doors on lingering pasts. This couple's biggest hurdle was their reluctance to capitulate to their feelings for each other for fear of being hurt. Their interactions fluctuated from intense to light hearted with a good balance. The attraction between Alex and Haven was spicy and readers will never look at gingerbread the same way! A wonderful secondary cast fleshed this story out.

Lulu Moore excels at friend and family dynamics. Her portrayals are fun with depth and her writing easily draws in a devoted audience. Wylder Ranch brings a well deserved happily ever after to two people who just needed a nudge in the right direction!

*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own. *
*While this story can be read as a stand alone reading the previous books in this series is recommended for an enhanced reading experience.*

ARC Review 5 ⭐️

We've waited a year for this story and Lulu did NOT disappoint. The Valentine Nook Chronicles is quickly becoming one of my favorite series of all time. It’s seriously SO good! 😍

Alex and Havens reconnection in Valentine Nook was so beautiful and heartwarming. Honestly I wasn’t sure how Lulu was going to bring them together again, but I think she honored their story in the best way. Alex and Havens reunion wasn’t all diamonds and rose but you can feel the love these two share and it is magnified by their love for their daughter. Lulu does a great job of portraying the invisible struggles of motherhood as Haven navigates postpartum, nursing and this new family life. One thing I’ve appreciated about this couple specifically is the way they help each other carry their burdens. Both Haven and Alex have experienced loss and the way ease each others pain and hardships is so touching. I loved seeing Alex grow as a father and his bond with Everly is precious! This sweet family will just melt your heart.

One thing that is special about the Burlingtons and village is how welcoming and supportive they are of one another. It was sweet seeing the other Burlington’s show up for Haven when Alex isn’t ready too. Just thinking about the love that this family has for each other brings tears to my eyes! Lulu has set herself up well for Hendricks story in Honeysuckle Lane and I’m already counting down the days til February!

Thank you Lulu & Valentine PR for allowing me to read this ahead of its release!! The opinions below are my own.

I absolutely loved this story! While it was quite emotional at times (tw: talk of parents death and dealing with grief) it was so heartwarming and spicy when it spiced!

The town of Valentine Nook sounds so damn magical! I can totally visualize it and just want to go there! It’s like the perfect British Hallmark town.

Alex yearned and pined long enough, and it paid off. His relationship with Haven felt delicate but also intentional. It never felt forced and while it moved quickly, I felt that it was perfect for them.
He is quite literally the best girl dad; he’s so thoughtful and caring.

Haven felt so relatable. So real. Every ounce of baby-induced anxiety and just trying to find who she is again post baby. I’m glad she was able to work through her issues about Christmas so that she was able to help Alex with his.

I haven’t read the first book in the series, but looking forward to it. I loved the cast of characters (the siblings!) especially Clemmie and Miles. They were just fun.

If found family, Christmas in cute small towns, and dukes, lords and lady’s are your thing… then pick it up! I highly recommend it.

Alex and Haven had an instant love connection last Christmas. But fear kept them from staying in contact, and that same fear led Haven to hiding her pregnancy. But once she rebounded, it was time to Alex and when the girl of you dreams comes back into your life, you don’t let her or your daughter go.

Alex is the real star here, not because Haven isn’t amazing but because of the growth and vulnerability he goes through as he grows into his own as a father. He loves their daughter fiercely and he spends every day trying to be a better father and partner to Haven.

When Haven’s self preservation walls come down, I loved watched her fall into confidence for her relationship with Alex. She was right to guard herself and her daughter but watching her trust herself— and therefore Alex was a joy.

The preview for the next book was INSANE. LULU I’M READY.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book in this impressive series, and this is Haven and Alexander’s story.
Haven and Alex has a weeklong fling, which had consequences, and now as a single mom to her daughter Everly, Haven sets out to find Alex. How can Haven and Alex co-parent from different sides of the Atlantic?
This is a well written emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, secrets, surprises, humour, witty banter, healing, challenges, determination, second chances, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, small-town romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Thank you so much to VPR for the ALC 🩵

I can confidently say I love Valentine Nook and this book just confirms that I wish I could pack up and live there. Alex & Haven have a very different (aka babbyyyyy) story and I ate it UP. At first Alex the MMC was slightly rude, which yes I can under the circumstances of finding out you have a baby LOL, but he really grew on me and was the sweetest man alive and dirty🤭

I absolutely loved Haven the FMC, just really fell in love with her character. I cannot relate to her but her character was so easily relatable and real.

So grateful to have been able to listen to this and fall in love with Valentine NooK all over again

This book was everything I knew it would be. Absolute perfection! So glad we got to see how Haven and Alex’s story played out after Once Upon A Christmas Tree.

This series has become a firm favourite. Lulu has completely perfected small town romance 🥰 I adore the cosy, warm village vibes. A perfect read for this time of the year!

Alex and Haven are definitely one of my favourite couples. I have not stopped thinking about them since OUACT last year. Alex is a perfect specimen of a man. The way he stepped up for Haven and baby Everly melted me.

If you have not read this series yet, please please please give it a go. You won’t regret it 🤭

Thanks to the author for an early copy

4.5⭐️ I reallyyyy enjoyed this one, Alex and Haven are so sweet together and I loved the way they balance each other out and are able to lean into each other’s strengths. The way everything wrapped up was so perfect, even though the whole time I could not figure out how everything was going to work out. Some of the hints during this book as to main characters for future books has me sooo excited to continue this series!

Alex has been thinking about the girl he met last year continuously and at the end of Once Upon a Christmas Tree she appeared back in his life. In Wylder Ranch he finally gets the happy ever after he deserves.

Haven travels to England, having never left the United States before to find Alex and tell him he is a father. Both of them try to navigate this new situation while initially trying to keep things platonic but the chemistry couldn’t be denied.

This book is a great story of second chances, Christmas festivities, family fun and nonsense and love.
I love all the Burlingtons and the side characters including Churchill, Blackberry and Dolly.

I was drawn into the story from the start and enjoyed every minute of it. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Hendricks deserves a HEA too.

Thanks to Valentine PR and Lulu Moore for the Arc of this book.
