A fun, quick & steamy read. I have to admit from the cover and blurb I was expecting this book to be super dark and for me it wasn't. There are dark aspects but it didn't go too far for me. If you're nervous it'll be too much, definitely give it a try. It's 🥵!!

The entire story is focused on Liam being raped by multiple people and hating himself and the entire world he exists in. They blame him for it and its not his fault at all. He was changed into an omega and tortured by everyone including his brother, father and packmates.
The story is just horrible. It's just rape upon rape. Then the disgusting ending "omegas are precious" what a damn joke. Don't even bother with that fake garbage.
Also, the women hated in this book is horrid.

I'm trash okay!
Books like this are always hard to review because there's no sane way to explain why I liked it or why it's good or why I think you should give it a chance. The content alone is going to turn off a lot of people, I know that. I try to review these books because they always get negative reviews for simply existing. But as one of the freaks who does enjoy books like this, here are my thoughts
I really liked this book. It is very dark and a little bleak at times but there is a full and complete HEA. Usually, I don't like books this bleak but because it's so short, it was easy enough to get through and you do see glimpses of that happiness. Simon is clearly trying and clearly loves his brother (More than he should and for longer than Liam thought). I'm stressing this because while it is mostly about smut, there is still a romance here and it deserves to be praised.
But that smut! Gods was it hot! I have burn marks from where I was holding my Kindle. The combination of their writing, and smut, makes me really keen to check out their other omegaverse books. I'd compliment them on that but I'm trash for all things omegaverse so it's not really a feat.
This was great and super hot. So if you like omegaverse and you're ready to dip your toes in something dark and taboo, maybe don't start with this because she's a lot, but it is worth your time. Five stars because did I mention how hot the smut was?!

I didn't have a lot of expectations for this one, but it was really good. Well edited, and a complete story with depth. The title and cover made me think it would be a different kind of book, one with an evil and dominating older brother with a captive younger brother. But the story was of an Alpha younger brother and a Null older brother. The younger brother, not wanting his older brother to be kicked out of the pack, he forces his brother to change, and a surprise to everyone, he changes to an Omega. [this isn't really a spoiler, it all happens in the first chapter] And even though it was dubcon (maybe noncon?) it was done out of love, a love and caring that continues throughout the rest of the book. Their relationship was sweet. There is darkness all over this book But I really enjoyed it, and would have loved it to be longer, so we can see their family grow after what we see in the epilogue.

That was deliciously dark and twisted. I love a good dark erotic taboo story and Nay L North always delivers. Liam is a null, he hasn’t presented and he is worried he won’t ever present and he’ll he kicked out of the pack, so he decides to tempt fate but it backfires, big time cause he’s in the woods, naked and under the full moon. And he’s caught the attention of an alpha wolf. He is chased and forced to his hands and knees where he is made to be a b!tch. The next morning, he notices some changes, heightened senses and he’s ecstatic that his attempt worked except, the wolf from the night before is having another go at him and it’s his brother. From there it’s a lot of non-con, dub-con, twisted and dark taboo wickedness. Whilst this is mainly erotica, there is a bit of a plot, and I thoroughly enjoyed the creative story and shifter world the author created to pair with that twisted erotic tale. Well written and so much sexy times.

Jay L North's imagination has very, very, very deep and dark corners where the light never shines and this story is an excellent example of the dark, depraved and twisted, combined in one. Simon devises a plan to "help" his brother Liam stay in the pack. And his plan is the beginning of Liam's nightmare and the end of everything relatively normal in his life. It's really heavy on the non con and taboo elements story - intense, gritty, pitch black. The HEA is unconventional, more like a dub con to me. Liam's struggles to accept the repercussions of Simon's actions felt so real and heart breaking. The author has once again delivered one dark and captivating variation of " If you go in the forest, you are on your own".

Very taboo. For like, all of the reasons. This is pitch black for all the reasons. It does have a happy ending for Liam but mannnnnn lol, he is put through hell to get there.
I guess I like my taboo and noncon a shade lighter than pitch black I'm learning haha. Still, I love omegaverse where one MC is "turned" into an omega or his designation is forcibly changed and I want to read more of that plot device for sure.

From the very beginning this is a dark read with plenty of shocking changes for poor Liam. It's full of taboo and a few very dark, traumatic moments for him too. Somehow though, the author made me enjoy seeing how protective Simon was of Liam and hope for their HEA together. Against all the odds, it does end in a somewhat unusual HEA for the pair.

Wow. I get why there are trigger warnings, but damn! This was hot! I keep getting surprised by North but it's in a good way. I expected it to be hot but not the twists of the story (which were dark af) or how conflicted I felt while reading. Highly recommend!

It got tiring at 50% and I almost dnfed it. I just couldn’t keep reading rape scenes. Then I just speed read it and at the very end Simon finally did something! The epilogue was cute!

I didn’t feel the brothers connection other than their instinctual needs. If there was more emotional development between the brothers I would have rated this highly.
