Just like the first book in this series. this story is chock full of immense power and contradictions. This is also written by a male author, but infinitely better than the last male author I read. This story took me to the ending of it, the last author barely got me to 20%. The characters are mesmerizing in this book, and each are lethal in the extreme, especially the whole group of antagonists who are destroying anything that dares challenge their rule. The plot is convoluted, yet straightforward as all guerilla tactics are. The premise is living long enough to retrieve a weapon from the heavily guarded HQ, but as with all things plans go awry. It is an on the edge of your seats drama from beginning to end and well worth your time and effort to read.
