So I decided that I was done with Roxie Ray books but then I saw this one in recommended reads and thought maybe just maybe I should give it shot. Should I have done that? No of course I shouldn't have done that. I have never ever been happy that I spent time reading a book by this author group.

DNF 5% which by the way was 81 pages because this is a trilogy all in one volume. It started off okish. Certainly not worse than other books I have read but the writing was not great and both MCs are a bit whiny for no reason. Then comes the meeting. A 40 year old man meets his fated mate and allows himself to be sent away by his parents for hours before they come in and tell him that he can't be with her because of mysterious reasons they won't tell him. That was strike one for his book.

Then the FMC goes to her parents house to discuss the development and we find out that she is adopted and her family has been weirdly involved in her dating life and she is a 30 year old virgin. Also stupid but it got stupider. We find out that the FMC has been on medications since she was a teenager that masked the scent of her pheromones to make her less hormonal and less potent to men. What the actual fuck is that? That plus the adoption just screams that she is just a super speshul Mary Sue and she just doesn't know it yet. That was strike 2.

Then she goes to work and gets bullied by all the women who want the MMC cause he's so irresistible and they just can't believe that fated mates would not be of the same social status. (Which is really fucking weird) They actually call her a common servant girl. (Also fucking weird) Then the MMC comes in and rescues her heroically from the bullies and calls the catering staff "the help". She of course gets offended and we have our first set back for the happy couple. Then the MMC and his friend who has fucked the FMC's best friend and employee (Did I need to know that?) dissect where it all went wrong and how much of a fuck up he is in this relationship already. All of that was strike 3.

Yeah. This was bad. If that was the first 80 pages I shudder to think what the remaining 1000 contain. I really really need to stop reading Roxie Ray books.

DNF - I'm on page 296 out of 1519 and I'm bored out of my mind

296 out of 1519. You read that right, this book is over one THOUSAND five HUNDRED pages long. Unfortunately the main characters have been whiney, incommunicative, and boring as f#ck since about page 75. The side characters are a million times worse than the main characters - self centered, immature, lying a$$holes. The story is shaping up to be excessively melodramatic and overly complicated with every trope known to romance hammered together into an ill shaped mangled disaster. Literally the only pro I can think of is the quality of the editing; so far I have not noticed any typos or odd phrasing so at least I wasn't reaching for a hypothetical red pen while being annoyed by the thirty year old FMC and forty year old MMC who can't even manage routine medical care or party attendance without their mommies nosing in.

Liza is a young wolf female who owns her own catering business. She is 30 and single and enjoys life. She doesn't need a mate. Then she's hired to do the catering for the packs mate finding party. She is on the floor serving when her wolf senses her mate.
Ty is the alpha's son and 40. Every year he has not found his mate until this one fateful night. He feels the pull. What he doesn't understand is why his parents are so against it.
Against his parent's wishes he starts to court Sabrina. Into their life comes a wolf from her past. His parents finally tell him secrets and he must guard himself against telling his mate. Until the day a wolf comes claiming she is his not Ty's. Now Ty must fight for his mate and to keep her safe he will do everything he can.
Then when they think the wolf is gone they find that a coroner deceived them. The hunt is on to find him before he can hurt or take Liza.
At every turn it seems like the two must fight for their love and their mating. Who will come out the victor?
An amazing story that will keep the reader enthralled to the final end.

This is a series of three books in one volume. (The Royals Of Presley Acres). We have:
“The Wolf Prince”
“The Wolf Prince’s Fate”
“The Wolf Prince’s Mate”
Wow this is an amazing series that has everything a good story should. Wolf shifters, fated mates, innocent MFC, possessive and protective MMC, sabotage, lies, deceit, memory loss, danish mafia, war, death, reanimation, omega MFC, forgiveness and much more!
Our MMC is Tyson Keller. He’s prince and future alpha to the Keller Pack. Handsome, muscled, grey eyed and at forty, he didn’t think he would find his mate, much less a fated mate.
And our MFC Liza Mims. She’s thirty years old and adopted by loving parents. She’s an innocent thirty year old. Beautiful, blond with icy blue eyes. She’s worked hard and is a caterer, with her own business.
Takes place in a shifters world.
With our story basically beginning with catering the Lunar matting ceremony hosted by Alpha Dominic Keller and his wife.
And my oh my does this story takes off. With this being three books I’ll try and be brief…Prince Tyson, (MMC) to be alpha sees Liza (MFC) and they both know their fated mates. BUT all is not as it seems. Wolves are taught from early age that fated mates are a gift from the goddess. That’s it’s a gift not bestowed on all wolves. But so many are trying to keep these two away from each other. Questions keep arising. Then a stranger, Stone Black (Castro Neal) comes to town with a plan for Liza. Could it be because Liza is an omega, Purist of wolves, carrying jeans that could birth the perfect wolf..
This is an awesome book and I highly recommend it. After all they go through they do have their happy ending.👍🏻😊.

Well, it was better written and edited than the last two Roxie Ray books I read, but I'm still not sure I'd consider it much more than okay. Liza and Ty were both immature are lacked communication skills for people in their 30s and 40s, respectively. On top of that, the whole premise that in the more than a decade that Liza was an adult, these two never came across each other in town, at pack functions, while at their respective jobs, etc. is more than a little unlikely. So much of this book/series relies on suspension of disbelief (and not just with regards to the shifters) and ignoring how convenient coincidences keep happening. Yes, it moves the story along, but it also feels like sloppy/lazy writing. At least, whoever they are in the Roxie Ray pen name collective, this writer can keep track of details. Overall, this isn't something I'd read again, but at least it doesn't make me want to avoid all books under the Roxie Ray pen name like the last two did.

Royal Wolves of Presley Acres is quite suspenseful and most definitely a page turning wolf shifter romance. I thought this book to be quite entertaining and an absolute pleasure to read. I thought this book has a breathtaking plot, wonderful characters and a marvelous outcome for the main characters. I immediately fell in love with Liza and Ty as the main characters. I absolutely adored getting to know Liza and Ty as well as witnessing their amazing story. I could easily read this book multiple times without getting bored of the book. This happens to be the first book that I have read by this author and I was completely hooked on this amazing book. I would absolutely give this book as a recommendation for anyone to checkout this amazing wolf shifter romance book.

Good story

Good story. A bit long and redundant. Liza could have been a stronger character. It’s like the author forgot she actually had powers. Also, never got to see what was in that letter from the safety deposit box that her mom and dad left.
A few inconsistencies. Ty’s wolf’s color from black to gray to black. Cicilys last name was miswritten in chapter 3. And it said she was a long time member of the pack when in the first book they had only move to the pack 3 months before.
Liza was a strong omega. She could have healed Ty when he got hurt or her mom when she was attacked. But all she did was cry at everything. And not heal anyone till her brother was hurt.
Overall okay story line but a long redundant read.
Wolves that can’t telecommunicate, and no pack order with a beta and such. I wish all the authors would stick to one description of shifters.

Royal Wolves of Presley Acres the complete series is included in this collection of wolf shifter entertainment that has bite, spice, shifter pack politics, danger, surprises, family dynamics, action, and adventure that will keep the reader glued to the pages of Liza and Ty’s story as it unfolds in all its forbidden royalty goodness.
When Liza caters the Luna Mate ceremonies and her gaze locks with those of shifter Prince Ty who is attending at his mother’s insistence, their lives will never be the same.
Enticingly written with good world building this was a fine Paranormal Romance to get lost in with no waiting for the next book!.

It was mostly good until the final part of the series, which is where I had so many issues:

It’s clear this couple CAN NOT communicate and refuse to learn how. It actually becomes kinda toxic, and is never resolved properly. I was so tired of both of them in the end.

A great new couple with a potentially interesting story is introduced…and instantly dropped. What a waste.

The ending is incredibly anticlimactic. The author worked so hard on the buildup only to totally abandon a proper ending.

The smut reads like an inexperienced fanfic.

It was full of typos. The last section especially.

There were a lot of unanswered questions remaining. It just felt like the author was tired of writing and just…gave up.

I had such high hopes for this, and I was so disappointed in the end.

WOW . This is a completely new way of looking at fated mates. Ty is the Alpha's only child at forty he still has not meet his mate until now. Liza is the caterer of the Luna mate ceremony. Through they come from a different social class the connection was instant.

The Kellers are pillars of the community, but like many families they have a buried secret that will be their downfall.

Liza is more than she looks, she too has secrets, more she is aware of.

This is a thrilling story that about struggling to see past pain and into the future, what ever may come.

I love that Liza is so strong because we need strong, empowering women in every sector of life, whether it be in real life or fantasy life, but why did you make Ty such a weak man, and all he seems to do is lie all the time. He never kept any promise he made and it made him look ridiculous throughout the book.

Got to the point where I was so bored with the book because of this and how repetitive it was. You do not need to keep repeating things we have read over and over again.

The book probably would have been half as long if she hadn't kept repeating herself.

Sorry not for me.

More twists than a corkscrew and enough red herrings to keep a fishmonger in stock for a month. If you like shifter romances with a LOT of bite then this is one set you really wont want to miss, Brilliant characters both good guys and villains even if you dont always know which side they are on. Tense action packed story with lots of heat and surprises that keep on coming . I couldnt wait to get to the end to find out lots of answers but hated it when I did get there as it means I had finished the books.

My only DNF so far, this year. The story felt a bit too young adult for my taste, especially with a 40-year-old MMC and a 30-year-old FMC. At over 1500 pages, it was just way too long and felt like several books crammed into one.

Liza starts off as a strong female lead, but Ty didn’t quite work for me. At forty, I expected him to be more confident, assertive and sure of himself, but instead he lies his way out of situations instead of dealing with things directly. That doesn’t exactly make for a strong alpha in my opinion.

Some parts were repetitive and could have easily been cut. Overall, it just wasn’t compelling enough to keep me going after part one.

This is a set box and follow the same characters from the beginning of relationship to happy ending.
The Wolf Prince is the first book in the series.
Love the storyline, a lot of angst and drama.
Secrets and more secrets.
Everybody act strange, nobody will say a word to clear some of the secrets.
Like that they stood up for themselves, like that communication was open and they didn’t shy away.
Great book, very well written, keep me turning pages.

Pretty difficult to give much depth to the review without giving the plot away. Suffice to say that Liza and Tyson have a tumultuous relationship. Whilst they are instantly drawn to each other due to the mate bond there are so many other issues keeping them apart. What with internal pack politics, betrayals, psychotic shadowy outsiders, perceived social disparity, bitchy rich girls and the list just goes on. A thoroughly gripping, action packed, steamy shifter romance.

I really enjoyed this series but it fell apart for me by the end of book three. It was like throwing pasta at the wall and seeing what sticks. Too many conflicts and extra “villains”. Then add in mob bosses. An omega and besides figuring out her powers and now add in she is programmed and has a “trigger” word. It was too much. It would have been better to shorten a bit and pick one/two conflicts to deal with instead of the constant mess that was happening. And the back and forth of keeping secrets from each other got old real quick.

Oh wow! This was one extremely fantastic story. The things that Liza and Ty had to go through to finally have their happily ever after. From the moment they saw each other across the room at the mating ceremony till the very last page, they had to fight for what they wanted and the whole time they kept butting up against obstacles to keep them from being happy. It all worked out in the end and their love for each other and fates hand brought forward a seriously compelling story.

I had a really hard time even getting through the first chapter because it wasn’t grabbing my attention. Then when the couple finally meet his parents tell him they can’t be together because “reasons”. This man is 40, he talks like a teenager, and I couldn’t get over his parents, (probably in their 60s or 70s), not being honest with him and still trying to tell him what to do.

I had to DNF it after that.

*I’m also just noticing that, although the book I started reading has the same plot, title and author as this, the characters have different names. Their Liza and Tyson in the book I read

There are more plot twists than a Billy Mays infomercial

This had potential but was about 1000 pages too long. Even at the end Ty and Liza didn’t trust each other 100%, and all the soap opera plot twists couldn’t make up for that. I could have gotten past the length of this series if the main characters actually learned anything or evolved, but up to the very end they remained the same secretive characters they were in the beginning. I normally love this author, so this was a big let down.

I enjoyed this series with lots of drama, intrigue, wild characters to love and hate, and lots of secrets to be found. A Prince who everyone is starting to feel will not find his mate actually finds her but instead of a great celebration, it leads to lots and lots of drama. It had me laughing and groaning and wanting to slap a few characters at times. But it was entertaining and fun to read and watch it all unfold. A good fated mates story.

Liza is one fantastic chef and has her own catering company. She hasn't found her mate yet until now. Ty is the next Alpha and she's his fated mate. But there are a lot of mysteries about who she is, who her family is, where did she come from, and so much more. I loved how this author kept the suspense going and built it up for the finale.

The boxset contains the three books in this series.
The Wolf Prince
The Wolf Prince’s Fate
The Wolf Prince’s Mate

This has something of a Cinderella tinge to it. Tyson being the prince and Liza being a waitress. That said there is much more to this series than meet the eye. There is subterfuge, intrigue, duty and love. Fated mates are a gift of the goddess so why are so many people trying to keep these two apart...

This is not my first nor will it be my last Roxie read!!! This is the first book series I have read of hers that has only followed 1 couple and not been a series surrounding a group of people. I enjoyed the book and the characters and Ty is definitely book boyfriend material. Story has lots of plot twist that keep you interested.

Great slow-build fated mates romance

A lovely slow-build shifter romance, with wolf shifters, wonderful chemistry between the main characters, drama, action, secrets, betrayals, obstacles, pack politics, second chances, love and a HEA.

No spoilers, this is a great shifter romance spread over four books, all ending with cliff-hangers, apart from the last one.

Enthralled!

This story was long but exciting. When I first picked it I thought it would be your average book. Noooo. It took me a few days but oh how it kept me at the edge of my seat. Love these mated wolf stories! Adventure, mystery, angst and plenty of heated chemistry. The supporting characters were just as good. You won’t be disappointed with this story. I guarantee it. Enjoy!
