I’m glad I listened to this as a complete series. The beginning of the story was a bit long but once the characters and backstory were established, the storyline really took off. There were so many layers to enjoy. The relationship development between Emily and Caleb was so fluid and felt fulfilling as they really went through the stages and their bond felt complete. The end was great and so descriptive it played out like a movie in my mind.

The narration was great. Both narrators performed the dual style so well, lending unique voices to every character whether it was one of the MCs or a side character. They both earned my attention in a positive way and I will be on the lookout for more from both in the future.

The Wolf’s Whisper follows the journey of Caleb and Emily. I immediately fell in love with both Caleb and Emily, I found them both to be quite interesting and intriguing at the same time. All of the characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the book. The Wolf’s Whisper is amazingly written, well balanced and beautifully executed by Author Lindsey Devin. This happens to be the first one that I have read by this author and I was completely captivated by the plot, characters and the final outcome for the main characters. I will definitely be checking out more of this author’s work in the future. I would also HIGHLY recommend this amazing wolf shifter romance book for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

What's not to love.....Whew this was a hefty one to read but I really enjoyed it. Caleb can’t believe Emily is back in his life but he is completely pulled into her orbit and has to help her with all the changes her body is going through with all the fevers (or that’s what she thinks they are) but she has always felt like something has been off or there is a piece of the puzzle that is missing in her life. I loved the banter between the characters as well as watching their relationship unfold. Lindsey Devin doesn’t not let us down in this shifter/fantasy romance story. I always want more as I completely feel like I could walk next door and talk to these characters as the author does a fantastic job of fleshing them out in such a realistic way.

The stories I have been reading by this author has been consistently good. This one is no different. Emily always felt like an outsider and even more so recently with fevers. It was until she met Caleb that things start to click into place. Caleb knew her scent and couldn't believe he found her or that she was still alive. Now he has to break a huge news to her and stay by her side when her body finally changes. It was a really good story with her struggle of her life being turned upside down and accepting the changes.

This is not a short read but I honestly did not feel that I was drowned in prose or got bored halfway through. I only mention because this nearly 700 pages so if you were expecting a couple or three novella length books turned into a series this is not the case. Emily has never felt as though she belonged and it is just getting worse but there is something about Caleb that calls to her. The characters are wonderful and you truly feel as though you know them. The growth of not only themselves but their relationship is really well done. A great story.

I enjoyed Emily and Caleb's story and would call it a slow burn romance. There are good character development for both and them, and you get a good sense of their personalities. I liked that Emily's confidence grew as the story progressed She went from awkward and somewhat low self-esteem to a confident woman who stood her ground. Caleb had a lot to do with that as she learned about her past and her new future. The story did seem too drag a little in places, but I just skipped ahead some and never missed a beat. Overall, this was a good read.

The female lead character was very relatable in the sense that she deals with self-doubt. What woman hasn’t. It is so cool that the male lead character was far from perfect. I was surprised with the “kidnapping scene” as it turned out that they were actually helping her; loved it. My heart was pounding when the female main character was hiding then escaping from the enemy. Gosh this was a really good story! I will definitely be rereading again in the near future.

Okay, so it does start out incredibly slow. This is a very slow burn. But you'd be shocked and freaked out, too. So just chill out and realize it will come to the point that you really want. When you think romance, the spice is there.
But it's way down because there's a lot of back story to get through. Plus, this is a complete series, so be patient.It will get fantastic closer to the end. It's all about the journey, not really about the spice.

The cover of this book is beautiful.

Great character development and world building. I loved Caleb and his protective strong alpha personality. Emily was a great FMC both characters are well described and likable. I felt invested in their story.

The author gave us a great shifter romance. Well written and I would recommend it to a reader who enjoys shifter books.

This book has great character balance, love, action, suspense, and indepth plot. Great read for 18+, would definitely recommend for anyone who likes shifter stories, this book has some different takes on the typical shifter books, but still a great read.

A Must Read!!

Love the characters ,storyline and the suspense of a “ human “ suddenly finding out when she was a toddler she was taken from her parents and her life guardian to be raised by humans …… normally that would not matter however now that’s she’s older she’s gonna turn into a wolf and she has NO Idea this was s getting ready to happen to her … couldn’t put it down

Loved seeing Emily’s growth💪🏻. Sienna Voss and Gavin McAllister did an amazing job with the narration.

At 21 hours long, you definitely get your money’s worth!

This is Emily and Caleb’s epic duology. This story is enjoyable to read and characters written wonderfully. It was intense, brimming with twists, and spicy in all the best ways. The story was nearly non-stop action (of every definition of that word), and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading.

Surprisingly different

Werewolves told in a slightly different way. Discovering your a werewolf, but brought up with human parents. Was a fascinating start to a great novel. Blushed at some of the written sex scenes. Beautifully written by the way, can not wait to read more.

DNF I got about half way through but it is terrible. Nothing happens, lots of talk, supposed to be shifters but no real sign of this. It's more of a really juvenile bad romance type story. Didn't like any of the characters
