Quick read novella of 39 pages. MM romance. Boys on the swim team living in the college dorm. One is secretly gay and starts getting interested in one of 3 teammates down the hall. Things get interesting when they are in the dorm showers alone late one night.
This was a steamy read. I was married and took night classes in college, so now I wonder want happens in those communal showers?

It was a beautiful sight, and Justin felt so lucky to be in the midst of it all.
Justin is on the college swim team.
He enjoys staying in the dorms on school breaks, when he can, to spend time away from his judgmental parents.
Matt has been Justin’s friend for a long time; roommates since sophomore year. He’s the only one Justin has come out to—so far.
Tommy, Jake, and Marcus are also “leftovers”—guys staying at school over break, rather than going home to their families.
Tommy is quite eye-catching. Sandy-blonde hair and a perfect V-shaped torso.
Justin is an introvert; Tommy slowly helps Justin come out of his shell, and into his own.
Writes Closeted Gay Dude super well. Almost like maybe the author was one in the past…
Beers with the guys. Locker room. Group showers.
All about the warm steam filling the room and the male bonding experience that had taken place earlier and continued to take place, but with a different feeling now. One of acceptance that it was okay to be naked in front of each other.
Great lust buildup. Circumcision status, anatomy, verbiage, comparisons—unapologetically Male Gaze. Strong descriptions.
Tommy is very…forward.
Compelling buddy moments with Tommy: Shower Time.
It felt like a dream to be doing this with Tommy, standing right in front of him, mirroring his actions.
Male bonding experiences.
Reckoning with self and others. Masculine desires.
No sexuality games. Gorgeous, honest writing.
HFN with the promise of more to come.
The desire to just let Tommy have his way with him was strong. And that scared him.

About a group of raunchy college boys calling themselves “Leftovers”
For what this short story purports to be which is gay erotica, it is well-done. At roughly thirty-nine print pages in length, this book can be read in short order. These college boys are left at school over a holiday and find things to do to fill the time; much is done in the shower or in their dorm rooms. Justin has not shared with his mates that he is gay so I guess in subsequent books that Tommy, Jake, and Marcus will find out. What will happen after this adventurous group of boys find out about Justin? Will they join in or be put off?
The publisher has provided some very intriguing and provocative pictures to accompany this book’s page. If you enjoy short but highly steamy gay stories, you should try this one.

Get wet with Justin
Happy to have discovered author Egan Sheridan, and this first novella in the Get Wet series. I certainly enjoyed reading about Justin, getting wet with fellow "leftover" Tommy. Hopefully, still-closeted Justin will come out to Tommy and the other 2 "sesh bros" on their deserted dorm floor in the next installment. And I was hoping that the recurring mention of barefoot guys - Justin walking barefoot to Marcus's room, three guys' bare feet hanging over the side of the bed they sat on - might lead to a newly discovered kink to be explored. Not this time, but maybe in the future? Please, Mr. Sheridan?

Talk about college experiences. This novella is refreshing in its nonjudgemental view of hanging out with the boys for the holiday. I cannot wait to read the next installment.

Yeah. Justin, Tommy, Marcus, and Jake. Their college's swimming team. The four legs of the medley relay. In this book, they are already great friends, but only Justin is an out gay, and that concerns him.
