Naughty butterflies
This was my first read by the author and I’m not sure how I feel about this novella. While the book provided plenty spice, there was mention of Demi having a sex addiction that was never treated and that had me feeling some kind of way. Also with Vaughn recognizing her addiction, but using it as a weapon to get her to agree to being in a relationship with him after he softly kidnapped her didn’t sit right with me either. I understand that he wanted to make up for lost time and to show her he was all in and all about her, but it felt like it should have been handled a different way if he truly loved her. This book contained some heavy themes to be solely erotica for me.
Then add in the “plot twist” at the end with Vaughn’s sister Leilani, which was predictable at best, and you have anticipation for the next story featuring the sister. I’m hoping that when Vaughn and Demi make an appearance in the sisters’s book, that Demi’s trauma will have been addressed and dealt with.

From the dedication, I already knew I was gonna be absolutely in love with this book. This book was so good. It was undeniably a book that I could not put down. I had to know what was gonna happen next and then the ending left my mouth open just a little bit, but I know that there’s more to come. This is my first book from this author, and I’m glad that I picked it up.

naughty butterflies is the definition of erotic, passionate, and tender all at once. our main characters, demi and vaughn, have a history that runs deep. almost a decade ago, demi gave vaughn her v-card, and in his smitten attempt to “get his bread up” and become the man he thought she deserved, he cut her off and wound up doing eight years in jail. when he’s finally released, his first mission is to get his girl back.
demi, meanwhile, has been struggling with a sex addiction she assumed was hereditary because of her mother’s reputation (her words, not mine 😭). their reunion is messy, obsessive, and undeniably erotic — vaughn literally “kidnaps” demi and keeps her close until she agrees to be his lady. in the real world that would be wild behavior, but in the world cyn built, it somehow fits the tension perfectly. demi’s decision to treat her addiction through vaughn instead of therapy had me both side-eyeing and laughing , but it worked for the story.
the pacing is fast, driven by both plot and characters, with a tone that stays steamy and impulsive. the ending leaves you hanging just enough to want more and trust, i’ll definitely be picking up the next book to see what happens with sis 👀🦋

Loved it
Now this was a fun one. Love Vaughn and Demi, The fact that she was trying to play hard to get because she was really hurt... But already knew she was got the minute that he came home. They were deaf on some freak nasty s*** and I love that for them. That sex club scene... whoo chile. Now I ain't gonna say I called it with mecca and Leilani But I definitely peeped game, Now what I did next week was what I didn't expect and I got.... I'm happy before I even asked are we getting a book for mecca and Leilani it was already told to me. I'm really excited to see you where that goes.

Will I’ll Be!!!
Babe, this was a hot and juicy read!!! Now my outlook on butterflies will definitely not be the same!
Now before I get into it let me say I need to know what going to happen with Mecca now that Lei is pregnant! How did Vaughn really react?
Note the energy that Mecca had once home, was the sweetest. He knew he was coming home to greet his woman Demi! That energy cause her to let them walls down and accept the love that he was giving her along with that BDE. That bedroom life they had was everything! But that first date had me speechless cause babe lol.

Eight years later, Vaughn is released, and he comes home and finds out that Demi is not so innocent anymore. I loved how Vaughn knew how to quiet those butterflies that Demi had going on. This erotic novella was sizzling hot, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I can't wait to read Mecca and Leilani's upcoming book after reading the epilogue.

Well, in a short span of time, Vaughn gave her appetite all that and more. Enough to where she feels she can hopefully give him enough to keep them together.

Demi was left behind and not sure why. No clues on what happened with Vaughn and her. After eight years, the pair gets a chance a second chance. He kidnaps ? Not sure how I feel that plan of action. I guess he was coming hard for his lady. Time away doesn’t make the heart fonder or does it ? The two must figure the shhh out together.

Spicy just the way I like it!!
The level of kinkiness in this book was top tier!! It was written out in a sexy yet classy way without making it feel like a scene out of porno. Vaughn definitely gives off the main character BDE we love in our male characters. I'm excited to see the evolution of his and Demi as we learn more about Leilani and Mecca!!

Well well well what a wonderful conclusion or beginning we find ourself in. This was a great way to tie everything and everyone together. I was pleasantly surprised when I figured out the characters in this story were the other couple in Meant To Be Yours. Cyn did her big one and I’m going to enjoy this series and her catalog.

Demi had childhood trauma and falling in love wasn’t the plan either. But when her first love Vaughn comes home from an eight year prison sentence. He stands on business letting Demi know she wasn’t going anywhere. He understood her addictions and trauma and accepted them.
