Hmm, about me... Well, not too much to tell. I was a reader before I ever became a writer. I live in a small town in North Carolina with my extremely spoiled German shepard. My son is grown, out on his own, and starting a family of his own. Still don't feel like a grandma. I write erotica, paranormal, futuristic, comtemporary, and m/m. I'm slowly but surely building up my library with new stories and interesting characters. Who knows what I'll come up with next. But to get what's already out, you can purchase them here - www.allromanceebooks.com www.amazon.com & B&N.
I'm on FB and Twitter. Stop by and drop me a line. I love hearing from fans and readers.

Generally, I think fans of werewolf stories will really really like this. I enjoyed the different take on the paranormal world and the other supernatural beings inhabiting it. This incorporates the age old adage of complacency breeding corruption and how the cycle of destiny and reincarnation (helped by a magical inception) allows history to repeat itself over and over until things are finally done right with the right mix of players.

This time around, our heroes Caleb and Jett are armed with more information and better allies, and they’re determined to not follow the same path as their predecessors. The world is a dark and scary place, and injustice and corruption prevails. As fated mates, they’re ready to clean house with an airtight plan that is brutal in its efficiency and lack of mercy.

I think the premise is wonderful, but it would have been served better with a more drawn out storyline as a series due to the multiple cast members and various mate pairings. However, I’m not a writer so what do I know? Because this was presented as an actual telling of Caleb and Jett's story and how they came to rule the world, they're already at the top of their game and have won the war. I never felt any worry that it would play out otherwise which kinda made this a foregone conclusion despite almost all romances being that.

Overall, still a refreshing take on shifter lore but way too much telling and not enough show which lowered execution points and made for a less satisfying win.

Secrets & Truths By Kimberly Hunter

In the immortal words of Caleb Lamont, "Buckle up, bitches! It's
going to be a wild ride!"

With that being said by Character Caleb. I say adjust that 5 point harness of yours, this book is a wild ride!

This is a Werewolf Erotic Genre M/M.

This story had me in the first chapter! I loved seeing it from both characters view points.

I really liked that the romance was not hurried, they took their time.

All the different characters added to the strong storyline.

Caleb & Jett have that instant attraction, yet they really must deal with other things of greater importance. When they find out they are more than just 2 wolfs and are going to be they ones that must unite the Supers, things really speed up.

I so don't want to say to much. I don't want to spoil the readers enjoyment. I will say I have only read 4 Authors with M/M. I was not disappointed the Sexy Scenes were that as well as Steamy Hot. There was nothing in this book that deterred from the storyline. All the characters were so well developed. I Highly Recommend this Book.

Caleb and Jett's story was great. I thought the authors take on the Wolf King was very interesting and held my attention. I think she went into just enough detail about the history of the Wolf King to keep the storyline going without overloading the reader with too much information, after all this is a work of fiction so it doesn't always have to make perfect sense.

This story did have the Mates theme so as soon as they met each other they knew they were destined for each other and of course the insta-lust that goes along with that but there was no insta-love which I really liked. They got to know each other a bit first and I thought that really helped to connect me with the MC's.

A really great book, I wish there was more but the Epilogue was great. The only thing that made me sad was King Leo finding his mate like he did.. am I the only one that would have loved for him to have his own book?! lol Maybe it's just me! :D

Would really love to see another book set in this world though. :)

Worth the one-click.

Secrets & Truths is told from both MC’s POV, which gives you clear developments via Caleb and Jett. The best way I can describe Secrets & Truths is a down-home, paranormal read. It does have a lot going on in the pages. And quite a few characters. But as with a Kimberly Hunter book, there is a warmth, a theme of ‘family is who you choose.’ The good guys and the bad guys are very clearly delineated…and the good guys win. There is also a very welcome HEA. If you read to escape and to see the bad guys get what’s coming and a sweet MM romance build, then Secrets & Truths is a good book to while away your reading hours.

“Pack is family.” I gave him a warm smile. “We take care of family.”

A very interesting read of the paranormal.. The story's mostly about two wolfs becoming mates & one becoming the king of all wolfs. It's Caleb & Jett telling their story.. I really enjoyed this book! A TBR

I enjoyed the story. I loved how Caleb's team seems to always find a funny side to a serious situation happening around them. The bantering was so much fun. Even the "King" seems to enjoy them. Considering he's in a leadership position, he still let them have fun. Jett in the beginning was such a stiff, arrogant, full-of-himself jerk. However, he quickly adjusted to his Soul mate and he turned out to be so loving and really focused on pleasing his mate. They were so good together. The way Jett's brothers behaved around their mom was just hilarious!

This was a new author for me. I read a blurb on Facebook by one of my friends and thought it looked good. So I bought it from Amazon and boy am I glad I did. I really enjoyed this book. It's not just another shifter book. I liked that just because they were mated it wasn't love at first sight. Interesting storyline. When I started reading it I didn't want to put it down. I stayed up all night and it was worth the lack of sleep.

I really enjoyed this book. I love shifters/paranormal books and this book didn't disappoint. This book had action, m/m action and loving relationships. I loved every minute and was sad to when it ended. I loved the new take on shifters. It was good and I would love to read more about this group of people. I just loved Caleb and Jett. I loved that their first meeting was horrible, but it ended well. Great book.

Wonderful!

I have to say, this is the first book I've read in a while that sucked me in from the very start. I liked all the characters and their interactions. It wasn't just about the main characters but the others around them as well. Definitely something I would read again. What an amazing author!

First time author for me, the story had me so captivated, it was different than other wolf shifter books and that's why I liked it so much. I absolutely loved it, there was a few misspelled words and the grammar needed help. A good editor would have helped out a lot. Luckily that didn't deter me from finishing the story. I'll have to try something else from this author.

Interesting paranormal mm romance. Unique take on werewolf lore. Some hunky vampires and other shifters. Great chemistry for the MC's...and engaging secondary characters. Will have to check out this author again.

I enjoyed this different take on shifters. The story had it all. Chemistry, friendship, love, mystery and intrigue.
It flowed well with just the right amount of background on the history of the king.

The story got lost in its details. By the time things finaly progressed and all of the explanations, background story and various other 'things' were done, I pretty much didn't care about the plot in itself anymore.

It had alot of potential to be an epic story. up until 85% of the book, it all felt like a prelude to the actual story and I was worried wether the little bit left at the end, would be enough to get any sort of story going. So of course it all felt horribly rushed after all the information dump in the end. The last 15% of the book should've been made into its own book, with alot of care and detail as the first one. I felt like some sort of sitting duck through out the book, waiting for something to happen.

The tone of the book was awfuly cheery. Nothing realy felt serious, like it was all just a big joke. Could've needed a little bit more seriousness here and there. Also, not sure what to feel about the casual way they talked about 'thinning the herd'. Okay.

Another story where everyone is either gay or supposly bisexual, but ends up with a gay partner. What are the odds, huh?

I was hovering at 5 stars at the beginning, went to 4 stars after the information dump and dropped to 3 when nothing ever progressed and we kept on getting more theoretical information without ever anything happening. If it wasn't for the fun start of the story, I would've dropped it to 2 stars at the end.

This is the sort of book that needs to be made into a trilogy to be properly appreciated.

I actually enjoyed reading this. This is a new author to me and I'm always wary but I was fascinated! But then again, I've said before that I love reading shifter stories because I love reading how the author will explain the world they've created.

This was certainly interesting. There are a lot of characters and there was some confusion there but not too bad. The ending was especially intriguing and it made me go, OOOOHHHH.

This book started out so well. I have always been a complete sucker for the whole ordinary-guy-destined-for-greatness storyline, so I loved the premise here. Caleb, a soldier in a shifter defense force, is nearly killed but saved by a bite from a werewolf compatriot, making him a werewolf as well, and a very powerful one at that. Woohoo, right in my wheelhouse!

But then you have the standard werewolf insta-mate trope (“I have just met you and I love you!” Wait, does this mean Dug was a werewolf? Never mind.) I’m willing to put up with this if it is written well. The problem is that we don’t get a lot of glimpses into the personalities of the two main characters, Caleb and Jett, so the whole thing falls kind of flat for me.

There is really very little action here. There is a lot of discussion about the history of the Regem Lupus (I agree with the earlier comment that it should more properly be Rex Luporum, “King of wolves”) and the politics of the human and shifter worlds. OK, so we spend 75% of the book talking and talking and talking and then things go completely off the rails.

I really can’t get around the ethics of what is proposed in this story. It is definitely au courant in dealing with income inequality and poverty and need across the world. The solution that is proposed, though, is for all intents and purposes mass murder. This is NOT OK. What can I say? I like my good guys to at least try to be good. This is pretty much amoral trigger-happy BS.

Regarding the writing, the story is told from first-person POV, but it jumps between Caleb and Jett. I frequently couldn’t tell through which character’s eyes we were seeing and it made the story confusing as heck.Finally, a bit more proofreading would be helpful. There were also a good number of places where incorrect words were used, like “diffusing a situation”.

I’m afraid I really can’t recommend this one, unfortunately.

On paper this M/M werewolf short novel -a self-contained standalone- could be considered unsuccessful for several reasons:

- It is essentially devoid of plot -what little there is is extremely simple and so unremarkable one hardly notices it-;
- it is essentially made up of a chain of climactic situations where most things are told and very few shown;
- it casts all-powerful and bidimentional leads who get rid of their problems with a wink of their eye; when they face a difficult problem, a new character appears to solve it for them;
- sex scenes are explicit but repetitive in premise and vocabulary;
- its underlying ethics are questionable: everybody, and the leads especially, is very ready to take offence and decidedly trigger happy; the basic idea is that common people are unable to determine their own life and a superior, benevolent being is needed to guide them;
- writing is fairly fluid but it is also peppered by many grammar mistakes and hindered by missing words.
- I may not be an accomplished latinist but "Regem Lupus" is an eyesore. It should be "Rex Luporum" or at least "Rex Lupus/Regem Lupum".

That said, the reading experience is still fairly entertaining and it is not difficult to read this work to its last page. This is why I have raised the original one-star rating.

Great fun

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are fun, funny, and hot. I would have loved to see more in this world. Caleb and Jett are a riot and the secondary characters entertaining. Regem Lupus (aka Wolf King ) appears on the scene, with no idea who/what he is. But they figure it out & leave the world a better place. I recommend this to anyone who loves men with guns, big claws & fangs, a hot MM lovin.

Bonds

I enjoyed this book because of the bonds that Caleb and Jett have with each other. I'm glad neither died. I will recommend this book to others.
