Macy is one of a family of siblings that work the Bar S ranch; she is the training the horses in their early days of training or works to correct training problems. Rick is her brother,Trevor's best friend and a champion calf-roper on the rodeo circuit. He has stopped at the ranch to check on a mare that he left with Macy to correct her problem leaving the starting box. He is due to the next competition in a few weeks. Trevor had warned to keep his hands off his two sisters,Macy and Lexie. Macy doesn't trust Rick since he has all the rodeo bunnies that he can handle if gossip is correct. While Rick is riding his mare to see if the problem is corrected; the mare is startled and throws Rick and he is injured. Macy volunteers to watch over Rick while he heals. What do they agree to while he is injured? Will this time near each other lead to changes? What are Trevor's reactions to this situation? Could it lead to a future?.

Short steamy story about Macy and Rick’s romance. Macy’s elder brother’s best friend who has been warned off her by her brother but following a concussion Rick and Macy finally admit their attraction. Macy’s brother Tegan eventually accepts their romance but not before he thumps Rick!
A good read with the story flowing along to keep you interested.
