Kreceno’Tiv survived the air-gulf contrivances of Tertius and saved his best friend, his brother in all but blood, Ropalir-Becilo’Ran’Bel from being taken. And he and his famiya escaped Gu’Anin, against all odd and possibilities. And now, on the Orm, in the Solidarim, he was safe from the exigencies of Gu’Anin. But the Solidarm and the Orm have their perils, not the least of which was the real possibility of vuuing the woman of his dreams – Tiphi Jorisi’Cav. And he had a purpose to fulfill, the destruction of the OSI, so he had to learn and learn quickly, for he did not know what he did not know, what there was to know and how.
Time was of the essence – for he could fail, and fail again, in the Solidarim, without reprieve, until he learned how to govern, how to pacify, and how to rise through the levels of the Solidarim to get to the position where he could affect policy. That could take orbises, or tens of orbises, more time than he or the people on Gu’Anin had. He had to get his duties right, without too many missteps or he would be foresworn his self-appointed purpose.
Success in Governance mattered. Success in rising through the Solidarim mattered. But most of all, what he could not prepare for, meeting Tiphi Jorisi’Cav in the flesh, mattered.
