About the author

Pedro Urvi is a bestselling fantasy author who some years ago began to write as an experiment. Without any deliberate intention on his part, the experiment in writing turned into a novel which went on growing until eventually it evolved into a saga. He is also a technologist with many years of experience working in the world of computer systems and cyber security. He has lived in the US, UK and Spain and worked all over Europe.
He is the author of three epic fantasy sagas: The Secret of the Golden Gods, The Ilenian Enigma, Path of the Ranger. It is currently working on a fourth one: Path of Dragons.
His other passion is reading. He defines himself as a fan of epic fantasy, science fiction and thrillers.

Mantengo 4 y pico redondeado a 5⭐ por entretenido y por el ritmo, a pesar de ciertas cositas mejorables.
Enganchado a la serie y su evolución.
Tenemos ya a Nahia y Logan como Jinetes de Dragón, con sus dragones Eki y Aroa y, aunque contradictorio, sigue su lucha quintacolumnista contra los mismos dragones.
El Escuadrón Rojo en Tremia con los guardabosques, empezando la revolución.
Sigo de cabeza al último publicado por ahora....

Cuando terminé el libro, no sabía que era el último que se había publicado hasta ahora y la verdad es que quedé intrigado. La historia empieza a mostrar claramente cómo se va formando la rebelión y descubrir que ese dragón está de su lado no es algo que sorprenda demasiado (ya se notaba que la ayudaba a su manera pero lo hacia) aunque lo hiciera de forma sutil. Saber que hay más de una forma de "sacarlos del chat de la vida” a los dragones les da aún más esperanza.

Me sigue gustando mucho la evolución de Nahia, se nota cómo va creciendo en cada libro y adquiriendo más fuerza. Además, me gusta cómo se va expandiendo el mundo. Ya dejamos atrás la escuela que se presentó en los primeros tres libros al menos en el caso de su escuadra (ella no ella sigue estudiando pero en otro lugar jaja) también me encantó cómo se van profundizando un poco más otros mundos y sus particularidades.

Eso sí hay algunos aspectos que podrían mejorar Por ejemplo, el uso de tropos clásicos sigue presente, la fórmula de “escuela de élite” + “elegida” + “dragón compañero” puede sentirse un poco repetitiva si ya leíste muchas historias similares. Aun así, en general me gustó mucho el libro y me dejó con muchas ganas de leer el próximo.

Well now lots of things went on in this current installment of the path of dragons. A city liberated multiple dragons killed and allies gained. It seems that the tide is slowly starting to slowly turn against the dragons as more join the cause. Hopefully soon Lasgol will be able to recover all of his memories and his magic because I've got a feeling it will be very much needed in the coming battles as will the golden weans. Nahia and Logan who have learned several things to aid their cause to get from under the tyrannical yoke of the dragons. but they are a long ways from their friends and allies and they as of yet have now idea whats happened with their friends and their allies. I will be looking forward to the next book entitled "Deadly Rescue" In which I believe it will have Lasgol and his ranger going after another ally. Once again this is a series I plan on following to the end.

Nahia and her Igneous Squad survived and graduated their third and final year at the Dragon Academy. But while her friends are headed to fight the Dragon’s war to conquer Drameia, she and Logan have been chosen to become elite Dragon Riders.

One thing that doesn’t ring true. Riding a sentient dragon is not the same as riding a horse. The dragon should be able to know how to fly in formation, etc. without the riders help. The rider is basically just a passenger.

Footnote: 1) I’m reading another series involving dragon riders that also communicate by thought. The dragons handle the flying so the riders just have to pay attention to fighting, etc.

Fave scenes: Nahia & Logan getting measured, fighting the Ice mage, altitude flight and taking the chance for freedom.

Book four with Panthers

Nahia and logan have Dragon rider training away from the team with a new team and a new world to fight on. (Will they get reunited, will she get to free the prisoners, included our ranger king)
Meanwhile her squad has ended up in the same world as lasgol and two squads that are with them for freedom (result) ,
Nice to see most of the Panthers together again.

I started with this series first three books then went back and read the rangers series (20 books) plus the following on series, now back to this one, I now know who viggo was in the ice plus the rangers story, just wish I read in order.

Dragon Rider

Another fantastic book. Nahia is separated from her squad. She has been chosen for another task. The Snow Panthers continue to fight. The red squadron is now after the snow panthers . Destinies are unfolding and dragons are dying.

I will read anything that Pedro Urvi has written. The stories are always engaging. One cannot help but fall in love with the characters. He makes you want to grab a bow and help in the fight.

I love how Pedro empowered all his characters to be fierce and likable or fierce detestable. He brings together the new and the old nicely, making his readers eager for more story. I love all his characters, both good and bad and average. He knows how to draw a reader into his stories. I do! Can't wait for his next book.

El mejor de los publicados de esta serie. Al fin empieza la acción de nuestros protagonistas mostrando su rebeldia. Aunque estén separados vas siguiendo las aventuras de los dos grupos. Feliz reencuentro, aunque aún faltan más. Y por fin aparecen dragones que se meten en nuestro corazoncito.
Esperando con ganas el siguiente libro.

Great book for children under 14. Overall, the series had a good plot and a decent magic system…. Unfortunately ALL of the books have WAY Too many errors. flat writing, with SO many repetitive words, large gaps between text, typos, no heat at all. (Not one bad word).

I've read all the other books, and while some of them are a bit slow, they are generally enjoyable. This book moved SO slowly, I could barely ready it. There are a few interesting tid bits here and there through out the book, but seriously not much happens at all.

¿Jinete de dragon?

Nahia y Logan deben comvertirse en jinetes de dragones, conseguir dos dragones que los acepten y tener éxito en la misión de guerra en Gryphoros, el mundo de los gryphos. Mientras el resto de las escuadras rojos van a la guerra en Tremia y deberán evitar perder la vida, hacer mas adeptos a la causa y comunicarse con “Llas Panteras De Las Nieves”. La acción, las sorpresas y lo inesperados hacen de esta obra una muy interesante e inolvidable. Espero con ansias la llegada del próximo libro de la serie.

Entiendo, ser un jinete es como ser un esclavo personal.

Me gustó que estuvo narrado por nahia y por la escuadra ignea. Muy buen toque pues todos estamos ansiosos con la guerra en tremia.

Estuve muy muy nerviosa con respecto al dragón que tendría nahia, pues es difícil ser parte de la revolución con un dragón pro senda. Gracias a Dios Garran-Zilar-Denbo la ayudó con la elección pues veo posible que eki y aroa se unan. (Espero no sea mucha guerra con eso)

Yo ya estaba rogando un libro desde la perspectiva de Lasgol y los penúltimos 3 capítulos fueron mi curita en el corazón, los extrañaba tanto, necesito más capítulos así el libro completo (estoy harta de la nahia).

Que miedo pasé con Ona y Argi, los lanzaron como si fueran papel, espero esas sanadoras los curen bien y rápido, estoy preocupada por mi linda Ona 🥹. Y que decir que no esperaba para nada la rebelión en este capítulo del escuadrón rojo, ahora cómo harán cuándo un dragón utilicé la perla y vea ese desmadre no sé. Pero temo por todo pues el título del próximo es rescate mortal, espero que sea mi egil el rescatado pero sabemos que será la rubita belicosa líder de las panteras.
