Flocking It Up #3

Flock Around and Find Out

FROM EXCITING AUTHOR OF WHY CHOOSE PARANORMAL ROMANCE JAYCE CARTER

Book three in the Flocking It Up series

It’s all fun and games until you piss off a god…

I think my life has finally settled down, but there’s no rest for the chaotic.

Werewolves are going mad at an alarming rate and my will-we-won’t-we beau and the leader of the shifters, Galen, doesn’t know why it’s happening or how to fix it. Worse, the situation risks the fragile truce between the clans. If we can’t find a solution, if we can’t stop it soon, war just might break out.

Of course, when I volunteered to help, I thought it’d be an easy fix. I didn’t expect searching for and confronting the original shifter—a literal god—to be our plan. I also didn’t think I’d end up stranded with my various lovers—a bonded vampire, a moody werewolf alpha and the mysterious man who made me—all acting like petty, jealous children.

Maybe a war isn’t the worst thing that could happen…

my favorite series

I love this series and the characters. Grey can frustrating and a little obtuse, but the storyline and other characters make it all come together. It was interesting to see her relationships continue to develop though it is still slow burn. Now that the god has been woken and possible world-annihilation on the horizon, hopefully her relationships continue to grow. Can’t wait to see what trouble she gets into next!

Okay, this book was so boring and too wordy! By chapter 3 I was exhausted! The best ND only good part of this book was the last chapter and the epilogue. Well we do not find out about anything w Harrison bur he dies send a representative to help grey so that's good. Grey finally gives IN to Kelvin and that was LACKLUSTER! NO cuddles or talk afterward! Porter is acting interested now...um excuse me! Alot more of mom time which was nice but I would have liked that more in book 1 and 2. I can tell there is going to be another book but honestly why? Couldn't you have Not dragged this out? You have grey and all these important people go on this mission and then zap they are outta there and everything is okay...lame! What about her friendship w Harrison sister?? Ruben like where is that gonna go bc obviously he is interested! Trey, is grey gonna have a conversation w him and see how's he doing? Knot, loki, is he going to be another boyfriend? All the talk about spirits and God's like what the what? I really don't know if I will continue on. I love grey and her sass but this.is too drawn out and BORING! I think grey is even bored!

I am pretty sure we’re still missing out on a fourth book in this series, but perhaps it never got written because it didn’t get enough readers? It makes me a bit sad, because I really adore Grey and I want to see her reach a happily ever after with all her men. She’s such an amazing woman, the type that shows you can be a bit silly and still be mature and wise when it matters. I really hope the series will pick up more readers, so that happily ever after will find me…

Something I have loved in all this author’s later series, is how emotionally balanced the stories are. There is a mix of emotions present, showing life has its ups and downs, but it never overwhelms. They show character growth in a realistic way, and even though the focus lays on our fmc, the men also show distinct personalities and the power to make me fall for them.

I really really hope a fourth book is on its way, because this series is totally worth it!
