Rate this book
It seems there’s something amiss in the Empire. I didn’t choose my fate, but now I’m acquainted with the Empress, and so, like it or not, I’ve been pulled into big politics. As if I didn’t have enough of my own problems already!

On the other hand, as we Hunters say: “The stronger the foe, the better the loot!” Let’s see how much I can shake out of the Coronate...

For being the 10th book in the series it's still going strong.
the MC is still building his family/clan/empire.
Snoop and Dumbass are probably two of the greatest characters to hit fiction in forever.
I'm convinced that Dumbass is a lot smarter than he acts and is just doing what he does purely to troll the MC. I like Snoop because well he finds all the loot. :-)
We have Royal princesses, traitors, assassination attempts, a half-ass invasion, and of course plenty of rift clearing. The action doesn't stop.
Grab a snack, grab a drink sit down tuck in and enjoy.

A good 10th installment

I really like how the princess called him out on him being a fool all the time because it can get really annoying since there was really no reason to act like that. Especially since they just got stuck in there and so many people had just died and him acting like that was very disrespectful

I received a review copy of this book.
I'm really enjoying this series. This book brings us to new places we've only heard of in previous books, new betrayals, new conflicts of interest, and plenty of action. The world continues to fill out, and we see some careful exposing of the main character's skills to others. It's a good addition to the series, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Battles. Intrigues!

Alexander is such a smart guy. First he’s given a virtual nobody to guard. She’s been mentally attacked. But we all know, at this point, nothing is at it seems.
Who are those darned Inquisitors?
Sargent Major Dumbass does not fail to amuse. Shnoop is, always, on point. Love that little guy.
Terrific read.

great book!

This was just what we were looking for but didn’t know we needed. Intrigue, betrayal, invasions, and more! We pick u where we left off and the surprises never stopped coming. The only thing we are missing is an actual wedding with Anna!

New level

Galaxius is growing in power, in strategic alliances, and in adventures. This book is full of schemes on multiple levels both from enemies and from Galaxius which drive the action to all new levels

another great read

Continues the story line, just as good as the previous books.
Moves the plot forward and adds some new twists.

I quite enjoyed the book, especially the exploits of Shnoop the magnificent and the intermezzo with the hunter count.

Untypically, i liked the additional point of views.

Good

One of the best I have ever had it was a new world of fantasy and exciting story lines that just jumped out of the pages

I need more

The endings of these books always take me by surprise, mainly because I’m so invested I’m not prepared for it to end haha! Bring on more of the series!
