If life’s a game, then Ah-in’s always been a loser. Growing up in an orphanage left him poor and emotionally scarred, but now he’s determined to bypass the rat race and get rich quick. In his job as a gay masseur, Ah-in has a unique selling point: he pretends to be blind, offering his wealthy, powerful clients total confidentiality. One such client is Seo Ilmo, a mystery novelist with a spotless reputation and a dangerous compulsion. And when Ah-in pays a visit to Mr. Seo’s apartment for an appointment, a fatal game of cat and mouse begins. This time, however, Ah-in cannot afford to be the loser...
3.5 — killing stalking but make it more wannabe hannibal and gayer and if everyone was in love with the mc. the beginning of this was more interesting in terms of plot, but the characters were good and i was really invested in the relationships by the end. i will say it’s trying to be deeper than it really is and that leads to some circuitous philosophy talk that feels very basic serial killer vibes, and some of the stuff with our second antagonist got a little repetitive, but overall there’s great tension here anchored by likable characters you wanna root for and the art is very good at capturing the emotions of each scene.
overall it’s a wild ride and really fun if you aren’t deterred by the numerous content warnings: violence/gore, SA, kidnapping, animal death, torture, discussions of stockholm syndrome, homophobia and probs more i’m forgetting tbh. i know that’s a lot, but if ur into that kind of thing and want a melodramatic thriller of a BL to read im def rec’ing this.
Eee. This was certainly an interesting read. Not in a good way. Protaganist had everyone love him, which felt kind of odd. He had a weird Stockholm situation and the top? Is he immortal? The brother thing was weird too. Did want more of the detective x childhood boyfriend who lost tongue / fingers. Did like that plot line a lot.

I don't understand why there are negative reviews based on the genre of the book. If you don't like horror or gore, don't read this. What were you hoping to find? Goodreads is full of moralists now.
The manwha has a wonderful story and art, the characters are interesting, and it's obviously not a typical "romantic" manwha.
