We all live with monsters inside of us. Greed, Jealousy, and fear have make a defining framework to our lives. Our interactions with others depend on these emotions and we all have them, but they are suppressed, subsumed beneath the surface, until some event, some catalyst, sets our monster free. What monsters do you hide inside?
Here are 13 short horror stories all about monsters. A perfect book to read to get into the autumn season, or just to read in the dead of night.
Probably closer to a 4 as horror isn't my cup of tea usually, but the author is a close personal friend so I'll roundup to a five. A few grammatical errors but nothing too big. The storytelling is very good with these 13 short stories, some better than others. I especially enjoyed the suspense of the second story concerning an email between two old high school students. I liked the twist of one story between six campers. I liked the last story concerning a real-life haunted island. Some of the other stories I thought were good, but too short, wish they had been expanded. Overall good stuff though and horror and thriller fans will likely enjoy as well.
