Moving to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan has been hard for eleven-year-old, Jay Noble. At his new school, he is faced with the struggles of being the new kid and being picked on by two a boy named Brendan and a teacher named Miss Wallace.
But everything changes once Jay learns to skate. He discovers that he is a remarkably fast skater, and this sends him on a journey to play hockey. With the help of a new friend, his hard work, and his natural hockey talent, Jay starts to rise above the bullying. But the question is, will this all be enough to lead his Saskatoon Renegades team to a Provincial Championship?
Jesse A. Murray is a Canadian author, poet, and high school teacher. He is most known for his two novels Love or Baseball? (2018) and Never Stop Skating (2024), and his five poetry collections: I Will Never Break (2020), Never Found (2021), Not Here To Stay (2021), Back Home (2022), and Falls Into Place (2022). He currently lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
