Love for an Elph

This was a surprisingly wholesome read. It gave all the Christmas feels and magic that we want from a Christmas story. Elph becomes a blessing for Jace, renewing his mom Jasmine's Christmas spirit by providing her with support, hope, and love. It was really cute.

What a cute, and creative storyline. Elph was living it up in the North Pole, thinking ish was sweet, until Santa said, you doin' too much; and it's time for you to experience the real world and get some act right. 😤 Going back to the Commons should have upset him, but surprisingly he felt a familiarity being there that he missed.

Meeting Jasmine and learning of her avoidance to Christmas and why, touched him in a way he couldn't explain. He just knew in his heart he wanted to help her and Jace, by giving them back the magic that only Christmas can bring. During his short stint Elph realized he didn't want to return to the North Pole, as he had found his family and love right there in the Commons.

Really enjoyed this!!

this was so cute

Who knew that if you’re an elf at the North Pole and you act up Santa will evict you? Not only did Elph get kicked out the North Pole. Santa sent him back to the hood. That’s where he meets Jasmine and Jace and where this story really begins. I just really loved everything about this. There was a little bit of Scrooge energy, lots of holiday magic, a cute kid, reconnecting with family, people falling in love. Everything you love to read in a holiday story!!

Well, what can I say? 🥹❤️‍🔥🥹 This was a beautiful and creative Christmas romance. I’m a sucker for well-
written love stories that aren’t overly cheesy, and this was just enough for me. It also had zero spice, which it didn’t need, and that’s coming from me, I love me a lil smut chile 😂

Elph really got his life together and mended a very important relationship, and Jasmine found the joy in life again. Watching their relationship blossom in such a short time was so cute, I also loved how Jasmine and Jace were welcomed into Elph’s family, it was so warm and wholesome. As I’ve said in other reviews, I don’t usually care for falling-fast tropes, but since this is a novella, it makes perfect sense and worked out well. I was definitely cozy under a blanket kicking my feet up with this one ❄️🎄🎁

There is no sex in this book. I repeat this is a spice free book. Ya'll know I saw that cover and was like I bet he's gonna lay that candy cane pipe. But NO, there was none of that.

With that said, you know what there is???

Forehead kisses, the absolute BEST hugs that brought warmth and security, slow dancing, hand holding, eye contact, smirks, flirting, him stepping in to take on that father role to her son. He's an elf with a case who finds himself while on parole lol.

Elph was incredibly attractive, likable, and a dream. My face literally hurt from smiling so hard while reading this. I adored the chemistry between him and the FMC.

Our girl Jasmine is a single mom who lost her husband on Christmas Day a few years ago. She lost her dream life and is now working her ass off to provide for her six-year-old son and can't muster the strength to show any holiday cheer.

When she crosses paths with this thugish Christmas elf, her entire life changes.

On top of the cute lil romance between these two, the relationship between mother and son is explored.

I loved this and it could totally be a Hallmark movie. If they cussed and took place in the projects...

Kyeate you always deliver me something with that paranormal/fantasy feel but the loveeee that came off these pages had me straight in tears man… I really needed this book today especially dealing with my own holiday grief. This was perfect and I love how you gave us an update but is there anyway we can get another one soon 😂 😂 like a part two where Jas finds out that Elph really used to be an elf 🤔 just a thought 😉

🎶Rob the jewelry store and tell em make me a grill🎶 ayeeee Christmas came early if Kyeate is giving us a thugged out, grillz wearing weed smoking Elf or should I say Elph!

Elph been at the North Pole cutting all the way tf up and Santa said not another damn day. He sent Elph packing back to the real world with the hopes that he would get his act together once and for all. Santa you ain’t have to send him to the projects tho 🥴😵‍💫 nasty work!

But I guess things worked out for Elph because he ended up next to single mother Jasmine and lord did she need some holiday cheer. After being done dirty by her ex which in turn led to painful holiday memories, not even her 6 year old could pull her out of that holiday funk. Elph was on a mission to restore the magic of Christmas back into their lives and he did exactly that!

Yoooo kudos for originality! That alone is worth a star when we are getting so many recycled storylines these days. And if this one is recycled then I haven’t read a story like it before. The closest things was Desiree and well the two don’t compare but let me give Kyeate her flowers because aside from some details that didn’t make sense she gave us original holiday magic and I thoroughly enjoyed this story! 3.5✨’s

We all believe in a little magic, riiii? This one was genuinely cute in that I didn’t know I needed this kind of way. Sometimes Christmas cheer doesn’t come from carols and decorations it comes from an unexpected push that reminds you why the season matters in the first place.

I was definitely chuckling because at first I’m like… why this elf giving YN energy and acting like he just left somebody’s smoke session? Getting kicked out the North Pole is nasty work, but honestly It landed him exactly where he needed to be. The contrast between his chaotic past and a bit of magic plus Jasmine’s very real, very heavy reality as a single mom was done so well. Life had her tired, focused and over the holidays and who could blame her?

What I loved most was how the magic didn’t erase her struggles. It softened the edges. It brought hope back into a space that felt worn down. Watching her guard slowly come down, watching joy sneak back in for her and her son, felt earned and warm. Sometimes the miracle isn’t a fix it’s a reminder.

Lighthearted, funny and full of heart. Proof that even misplaced elves can spark exactly what’s missing.

This cover matches Elph's description perfectly. Elph was running Santa's blood pressure up and was kicked out of the North Pole, sent to the real world. It was exactly what he needed, though. He found his purpose with Jace and Jasmine. Jasmine hates the holiday due to a tragedy that occurred years earlier. Her poor son had to deal with not really celebrating Christmas because of this. Enters Elph to bring the holiday cheer for them both.

This was such a cute and sweet read. I loved the relationship that Elph and Jace had. The redemption in this story was beautiful. Elph had to right some wrongs, and he did just that. I loved how he helped Jasmine find her purpose again and her love for the holiday. As always with a Kyeate book, I enjoyed it.

Another must read holiday romance. I follow the author on the clock app and she said to go read it so I did. AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

One thing about me I love a man that loves to spoil his lady. Factor in her being a single mom you know the kid getting spoiled to, so that’s just icing on the damn cake okay.

Then I love me some growth, some good character development always going to get me!!! Jasmine hated Christmas okay it was giving grinch. Here comes Elph getting kicked out of the North Pole and moving in next door to her. He sees she missing her spark and decides to help. Falling in love in the process.

Beautifully written, just beautiful.

First of all, the title is so clever.

If you remember my joy after reading, Desiree's:
"Saint and the Queen," you know I can appreciate a lil hood 🥷🏾in the north pole .

Elph didn't disappoint. Santa kicked him out of the jolly club in a crushing scene and sent him back to "the real world"!

Struggling Single mom Jasmine doesn't have much to celebrate these days

But like 🎅🏾 Santa said: "How things align, well, sometimes that's out of my control."

Elf needed closure, Jasmine stability, and they both found what they needed in family.

This is cute or whatever... 😉. I'm looking forward to digging into this Author's Catelog.

They definitely Elphed around and found out

This book was a big surprise even with zero spice it was still good. I loved the plot and how they put it together. Elph in the end found out exactly what he needed and I’m glad he was able to reconnect with his mother. I was happy he was able to help jasmine get back to herself and in the end everyone got the happy ending they wanted and needed.

Amazingly sweet story

This story was filled with so much love Abe Christmas magic. It was whimsical and fun, but I also felt it on an emotional level. As someone who’s suffered tragic loss the holidays just do not feel the same. I often find myself feeling like Jasmine. Elph spoke life into her and I felt it in the core of my spirit. This story made me smile and I loved it!

This was full of holiday vibes. Jasmine let a bad experience shadow her from the Christmas holiday spirit. Elph got down on his luck but found purpose once he met Jasmine and her son. So many things start to turn around and lighting up the dim hole in her heart once she meets him. This is a wonderful Christmas romance filled with healing and love.

What an original idea and storyline. This was such a cute holiday story. I was really laughing out loud at Elph. Elph got on Santa's naughty list and ended up getting kicked out the North Pole. From the North Pole to the projects where he meets Jasmine a hardworking single mom struggling to get in the holiday spirit. Elph, Jasmine, and Jace were just adorable together. The sweetest holiday short.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I just finished this holiday short., and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. I loved the way you illustrated Jasmine's and Elph's individual healing journeys which led them to finding romantic love. The story is beautiful with awesome nuggets and jewels that can be applied to everyday life.

Finding Joy Again

This book was such a feel good read. Christmas joy at its finest. Jasmine and Elph both needed to let go of resentment from things that happened in their past that was out of their control. All of the Holiday feels were shown throughout.

Great read!!
Really enjoyed this book Jasmine was having a hard time with her emotions due to loss of her bd. She was dealing with grief but still depriving herself and her son of happiness. Elph came along and brightened her days. He was like a breath of fresh air. I loved how he loved on them and how the both learned to grow together.

Elph Around & Find Out

The way I was in complete aww this entire book! First off, Santa was a savage lol. He came through like a big dawg lol! Elph had that natural charm, fun loving spirit, lifted up those around him all while fighting internally. Jasmine was that single mother who suffered openly but held it together for her baby! She was to the point of not wanting to hid but no complete give up. Neither one of them knew what doors would be opened or what wounds would be healed coming across one another! I loved this holiday short!

Arc Review!

I absolutely love the between Jasmine and Elph! Elph had to make some very serious decisions about his life and how he was going to live it and thankfully for Jasmine and her son, he chose the right decisions.
