Tropes: Fated Mates, Animal Companion, Feisty FMC, Elemental Magic

This is the first book in The Agron Realm Trilogy and it is an adventure from beginning to end. Fated Mates lost to each other collide and fight for their love, freedom, and to protect their kingdom. It's full of mystery, adventure, banter and snarky jokes. Each character is fully developed and the world building is top notch. I was mesmerized from page one and quickly found myself transported to realms I've never imagined. I found myself side-by-side with Raven, lost in Uriah's admiration. Knightmare is one-of-a-kind! The relationship he and Raven have is beautiful. This truly is a gripping faery tale of love and war. I'm ready for books 2, Revealing Felix.

Come join me in this epic adventure. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Ok Fae horses ?!?! Heck ya. This was a great easy read with a nice introduction to the world building and wasn’t hard to follow at all. Then you have instant attraction, fated mates, and mutual pining— another heck yes! There are multiple pov and great twists and plot on top of the romance. Well done debut!!

I. Could. Not. Get. Enough.
I would seriously recommend all my fantasy lovers check this book out.

Seriously this book is binge worthy, attention grabbing and had me at the edge of my seat.

There's everything you could possibly want in a fantasy book and much more. Fated Mates, magic, found family,Family, hidden identities & or course an animal companion that i absolutely love (Knightmare is my fav 🤣🤣)

I'm gonna be honest this was not what I was expecting at all and I want...nope I need more!

This book is very aptly named. Arabella (Raven) quite literally reclaims herself and it is so empowering.

I just finished Reclaiming Arabella by DianaKay Abraham - Book one of the Agron Realm Trilogy and here are my musings.

Uriah is the newest lord of the shallows and learning his new role is just another thing he has to do. What he doesn’t expect when he is searching for a light he saw in a cave in his territory… is a girl… She calls herself Raven..

Except, that is not her name… Her name is Arabella. His soul mate and betrothed… A girl stolen away years earlier.. A girl he never gave up the hope of finding. Their magic pulled them together and Arabella must find what she seeks in order to step back into her birthright but can she do it?

I just need to take one moment to mourn what happened to Arabella… (IFKYK). It was a really impactful moment for me and the author really brought the feels.

Imagine being sucked into the kind of world you could see yourself living in. That’s what you will find here. The kind of world building most authors can only dream of creating. I felt like I was there… I could feel it… Smell it… visual it in a really vivid way.

Uriah is a really solid character. Especially when he finally finds Arabella again, he is gentle and patient with her. It was splendid. He was the dreamy MMC but… Felix… SIGHHH He stole the show for me. If you need a new book BF, he is it!

I loved the fated mates… It was so whimsical and sweet. It was done with such care and respect that I felt privileged to read all about it. There is some mild spice and it’s done tastefully well. All in all this romantasy ticks all the boxes.

There is some beautiful artwork in this book too! It’s a well rounded, beautifully written work of art!

4.5 stars

Review:
I'm absolutely in love with this story. The character growth in Arabella is really admirable. Through all the trail and tribulations this character endures, she embraces her originally self and becomes whole in end was so powerful and an impact full part of the story.

This book had me hooked from the beginning, and I had an incredibly hard time putting this book down to be an adult. This story was truly such a powerful and impactful storyline of finding one's true self. The world building was beautifully well written, and the characters drove this story very well.

My favorite Badasd female character was Arabella (aka Raven), but Uriah, Sebastian, and Felix were a few of my favorites, too. But you can't forget about the spunky smart-ass best friend, fae-horse, Knightmare.

A favorite scene would have to be when Arabella reclaimed herself in the end. I mean, the whole book was fantastic. But Felix getting HEA as well has got to be a favorite as well.

I can't wait to see where Diana takes this story, and I'm excited for book 2.

A great debut for a new author. This book brought hidden identities, fated mates, lies and secrets, and found family into a fun storyline. In a world at war of humans vs fae, we see the fae lines of power diminishing. In hopes to rebuild powerful lines, the goal of the king is to marry powerful lords children to establish new monarchies. In the hopes of making these connects, things are disrupted when 4 year old Arabella is kidnapped.

Arabella (now Raven) is a strong FMC who asks as a mercenary for the human Queen. After a life of torment at the hands of "the sculpture" Raven now uses his methods to unalive bad people.
When she happens to find Uriah in a cave she is lost in, her whole world becomes upside down and the memories of her past return.

This books takes on some twists and turns. We see a lot of areas of the FMC questioning truths as everything she believed is tested in truth and lies. We see the Fae trying to find the truths of what actually happened to Arabella. And we see powers thought lost return to the world of the fae.

WAU! Just wau!! This is so good!! Just wau
Felix, oh how i love him! He is amazing! And kinda sweet but also funny! Just so lovely!
Sebastian, he is lovely too! Wish there was more of him! Funny, first thing i tought about him when i read this.
Uriah, well hello, dreamy! Shadow daddy, i do like that a lot! And the way he feels for Arabella, so sweet that i think i have sugar overdose.
Arabella, Raven, her life was horrible! But the way she still became so fierce and strong, amazing
I’m not a horse person myself(yes i know)
but Knightmare, i want him. He is so funny and witty and smart! So glad that Arabella found him, they make a good pair!
The world is amazing and so well written! You really could see yourself there. And it’s so pretty
The twist about who did what and when and why, seriously so good! I was sitting my mouth open and mind plown. Also i may have giggled out loud and made noices that only animals can hear couple off times.
I mean, i don’t have enough words for this! I think i might need a minute or two and then i can maybe talk with someone about this

I am in love with this book. I wanna forget it and reread it again.
I wanna meet the characters again for the first time and fall in love all over.

Uriah with his wings and shadows. His unyielding faith in that he'll find her. That no other woman will compare.🫠
Raven who is sassy and strong in spite of her experience in her childhood. Her growth is inspiring.
Felix and Sebastian who were there when needed. I love that they have their own little side stories (or not so little in Felix's case) and that we get Felix's pov. His grief was flowing from the pages. Zed was mystery I wish we had more time with 😉
Knightmare, ah yes doesn't love a sassy animal companion 😄

The story is filled with twists and turns that had me fully invested. It is filled with intrigue, conspiracies and magic. There are epic battle scenes and well written spicy scenes.

I recommend this to everyone who likes a good fantasy, with fated mates, found family and wings

I can't wait for the next book!!!!

This is another book that I got pulled into and did not want to leave. Raven is a very strong FMC who did whatever she needed to for survival. There are vulnerable sides to her and you'll get to see more of that as you read. She hasn't had an easy life by any means but because of that, she holds empathy for those who are wronged. Uriah is a light within the shadows. He never gave up on looking for his missing betrothed. Although he's fairly serious due to his role as Lord of the Shallows, he still has some humor to him that you see come out more around his friends Felix & Sebastian. There's usually always a "side" character that I end up liking and Felix is a character that you'll grow to like. Overall the world and story build in this book is very well done. The spice level I would say is there but it's not the main theme of the story. The 2nd book in this series "Revealing Felix" releases Sept 9th and I cannot wait to get my hands on it and dive in.

We meet Raven, a very stabby FMC, who's been living in the human realm. Then we meet Uriah, the Lord of the Shallows from the Argon Realm, the fae part of this world. Let's just say they are connected. A chance meeting in a cave system flows into the storyline and who they are to each other. And who Raven really is.

The magic, the political intrigue, the kingdoms, the drama, oh my word! Add in a supporting cast, a wonderful horse named Knightmare. (Yes, he bites!), and beautiful lands divided. The slow burn, the mystery, the world building, the action! I can not wait for book two! This was a great read!

My favorite thing about the whole book is the found family trope. Love love love it! 🥰

I'm blown away by the incredible storyline. Initially, I was hesitant due to its longer length(I prefer shorter reads), but the author's masterful storytelling and intriguing characters quickly drew me in.

The cast of characters is impressively well-developed, with even the side characters adding depth and richness to the story. The world-building is equally impressive.

While I didn't expect the level of complexity and depth from the title, I was pleasantly surprised by the author's skillful handling of multiple plot threads.❤️

Overall, I highly recommend this book to fans of Romantasy.

I really enjoyed this book! I went into it sort of blind and I think that made it even more enjoyable. Diana’s writing style was so interesting, it was fast paced and addictive. I could not put this book down, I was itching to know where the story was going to go and it did not disappoint. I really liked our FMC, her story was so heartbreaking but I loved seeing her thrive. The tension and spice in this book was so good too! Fated mates gets me every single time. I enjoyed learning about the magic system and the lore and politics of the world too, it was so entertaining. I definitely recommend this book and I cannot wait to dive into Revealing Felix!

I love this series and the characters. I never would have guessed that this is Diana’s debut novel. Her writing is eloquent and beautiful but still easy to read and she does a great job of balancing showing and telling. Arabella is strong and righteous and fights for those who have been wronged even when her own life was literally torture. Uriah isn’t your typical dark and broody shadow daddy but a strong leader with a desire to do right both for the people he loves and the people he’s responsible for in his territory. Felix and Sebastian are his loyal friends but more than that they’re good that they do and their positions were earned. I can’t wait to get into more of the lore in the next book and find out what else is waiting for our friends in the Agron Realm.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.25 stars)

Knightmare is my absolute favorite!! The connection between Arabella and Uriah is so powerful—it leaps off the page. Together, they’re unstoppable. 🖤

This romantasy has it all: fae, humans, sorcery, and a storyline that keeps you hooked from start to finish. If you’re craving a magical world with deep emotions and high stakes, this one is such a great read!

When I set out to write Reclaiming Arabella, I did it with the thought that I wanted to write a book that had everything that I was missing from current popular books.

This is that book and if I can't give it five stars then I can't give it to the world. I sincerely hope you enjoy Raven, Uriah, Sebastian, Felix and Knightmares story.

Welcome to the Agron Realm, be brave, the Sculptor's Apprentice is not one to be trifled with and good luck on your journey.

This was a truly enchanting story from a debut author. The twists and turns in the plot really keep you hooked! The characters are really what drew me in. The relationships that change and are built within this book paired with the growth is wonderful. I also enjoyed the "side stories" from the other characters. It's always nice to see other perspectives aside from the main characters. Looking forward to book 2!

This book is a must read for fantasy lovers. I’m a sucker for all the mates tropes, and this book delivered! Full of twists, turns, and some sass along the way I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The battle scenes were well written. As someone who has some difficulty mentally picturing scenes, I found that was not the case here. I am very excited to read the next book and continue the adventure in the Agron Realm!
