When it came to Mia Carfano, all it took was a single look and I was done. Gone. Obsessed.
And no matter what I had to do, she was going to be mine…

I was going to start living my life for myself for once, but he had other plans.

Santino Antonucci.

My family needs to make a deal with his, and as the head of the Antonucci family, the only way Santino will agree to help is if I marry him.
I’ve never met him.
I don’t even know what he looks like.
All I know is that he’s fourteen years older than me, he was supposed to marry my cousin last year, and after he saw me at another cousin’s wedding a few months ago, he decided he had to have me.
If he thinks I’m flattered by that, I’m not.

I’m only marrying Santino because my family needs this deal with him to go through, and just because I’m agreeing to the marriage, it doesn’t mean I’m agreeing to give him any part of me.

Santino Antonucci is an arrogant a**hole who thinks he can have me simply because he wants me, but he’ll soon learn I’m not someone he can easily manipulate.
But then a mistaken encounter leaves us both wanting more, and while he says he won’t touch me again until I beg him to, from the moment we say ‘I do’, he’s the one that’s doing all the begging.
And I have to admit, I like seeing him on his knees.

I went into this arrangement with a plan. With rules. But Santino wasn’t a man I could’ve prepared for. I thought when he slid that ring on my finger it’d be a prison sentence and I’d spend the next few years finding every which way to escape. But with each day that passes, I find myself losing my will to break free from the life we’re creating together.

Of course, so long as the enemy lurking in the shadows doesn’t rip my new life from me before I have the chance to finally be happy.

This is a Mafia Romance, and this is the 7th book in the Carfano Crime Family series. I have read the first six books in this series before picking up this book, but I do think you can read this book as a standalone without any problems. I got pulled into this book, and I could not put this book down. I really enjoyed reading this book. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

I picked this up because I actually really liked Captivated (although I wish it was longer) but it fell flat for me. It felt like an over the top copy of Captivated.

I loved the underlying premise -- FMC forced to marry a man obsessed with her and so she decides to make his life miserable to pay him back. But I was disappointed that she gave in almost immediately to him :(

Things that would have made this better for me:

- I kept waiting for Santino to have a reason why he was obsessed with Mia, who is 20(!!) years old (while he is 34). Something like he knew her and was impressed by her from afar or idk, anything. Nope, just wanted to bang her, without even saying a word to her. Just gave me a little bit of the ick. He is WAY too obsessed with her looks.

- Santino is also just too over the top for me. Like he literally will do ANYTHING she says? Will spoil her in EVERY WAY? ugh.

- "Farfalla" is too much for me.

- The sexy virgin who isn't awkward, is super tempting and sensuous, and overall acts like an experienced 40 year old is just overdone for me.

Honestly, I liked the idea behind this book, I just think the execution wasn't for me. I like strong FMCs who would send a stiletto into the MMC's heart if he wronged her and this one SEEMED like it would have this premise, but it just missed it for me. Nothing against the author at ALL! Just not for me. 3 stars for doing the hard work of actually writing a whole entire book. I could never and I appreciate anyone who does!

This was one of those moments of "I can't believe that arranged marriages can still happen in this day and age" type of times. And I fell in love with it instantly.

The story behind our two main characters is a relatively crazy one. Our MMC first saw the FMC at a wedding and knew instantly that he had to have her. And not just in his bed. He wanted her for the long haul, and he was going to do whatever it took to make it so. Little did he realize that a plan to work it out was going to literally fall right into his lap.

After naming the terms of his own arrangement for marriage to her is underway, she agrees to it (quite reluctantly) under the impression that it is in name and on paper only. Only to be confronted by the heated passion that lies within the man who comes at her with both barrels blazing, drawing her right into the world of heat that he's been living in daily since seeing her for that first time.

It's a whirlwind ride, taking them both to places that they've never been, though more on her part seeing as how not only is this marriage a first for her, but a relationship at all in any way is something so far out of bounds for her that she doesn't know how to act. How to speak. How to see what he does as good or bad. It's a learning experience for them both and in so many ways, these two are so perfect for each other that it's scary. I loved every second of it.

He saw her at a wedding and knew instantly that he wanted her to be his. When the opportunity came to make an alliance with her family, he arranged for their marriage. She does not like being a pawn in anyone's game but knows she cannot refuse her family. He is not what she expected. He is a force of nature, an incredibly confident, and incredibly handsome. This is a bit of a different take on the arranged marriage. He makes no pretense of the fact that he is obsessed with her and wants to be married to her and build a life together. There is a mafia family drama arc that winds through the story but focus is definitely on their romance and discovering each other. It is a romance and a seduction. He is the possessive over the top book boyfriend you have been dreaming of. He has a one track mind with wooing his woman and he will not be deterred or let her think that he is less than all in. They get their happily ever after after navigating the family drama, but there is no 3rd act break up or misunderstandings, she is his and he is hers.

Spice 🌶🌶

Rebecca Gannon delivers another captivating read in the Carfano Crime Family series, and Arranged does not disappoint. While this is the seventh book in the series, it’s easy to follow as a standalone, though long-time fans will definitely appreciate the connections to earlier books.

Santino and Mia’s story had me hooked from the start. Santino is completely fixated on Mia, and his relentless pursuit is equal parts intense and endearing. He was originally meant to marry Mia’s cousin (a twist explored in book two), but one look at Mia and it’s game over—he wants her and no one else. Mia, on the other hand, doesn’t make things easy for him. Watching her hold her ground and make Santino work for her affection was so satisfying.

Mia’s character really stood out for me. Her growth throughout the book is a highlight—she starts off guarded but blossoms into someone who knows her worth and isn’t afraid to demand respect.
While this is technically a mafia romance, the focus here is much more on the couple than on the gritty mafia world. The criminal backdrop adds a nice touch of tension, but don’t go into this one expecting heavy mafia drama.

The chemistry between Santino and Mia is undeniable, and their dynamic kept me turning the pages. If you’re a fan of this series or just looking for a romance with a touch of the mafia world, Arranged is worth picking up. Rebecca Gannon knows how to write characters you’ll root for, and I’m already counting down to the next instalment!

What an absolute gem of a book, the Carfano Crime family saga continues!!!
Rebecca Gannon has written a beautiful love story between Mia Carfano and Santino Antonucci. I absolutely loved this book!
Santino sees Mia months before at a wedding and is clearly obsessed with her. He finds a way to negotiate a business deal with the Carfano family that includes making Mia his bride.
This book was so romantic and beautifully written, exactly what you’d want when a man is so completely in love with his wife.
I appreciated the wooing and beautiful words and affection he uses to make his bride feel loved, wanted, needed and appreciated. While he’s still a dangerous man in a deadly profession, it was refreshing to read a mafia book that didn’t involve tying his wife down and beating her butt red before he has sex with her,
Those books are getting a bit tiresome.
This book was absolutely perfect.
I can’t wait for the rest of the families to have their stories.
Rebecca Gannon always writes perfection!!! Well done!!

This is the second book I’ve read by this author and was completely hooked by it! I really like her writing style.

The story was well written, with good characters and a well thought out plot. Although it is part of a series and characters pop up from previous books, I was able to read this book and not feel lost with characters and overarching storylines and I don’t feel like it has spoiled any of the previous books for me, books which I will be reading soon!

Santino is set to marry Mia’s cousin until he first meet Mia and becomes enraptured with her, he decides he wants her and only her. Mia is not on board with the arrangement for them to marry and goes out to a club in an act of rebellion, determined to at least kiss someone other than her soon to be husband. There she meets a man who she becomes enamoured with, who turns out to be anyone but the handsome stranger she first thought.

A brilliant read that I thoroughly enjoyed!

Arranged is a breathtaking mafia arranged marriage which is the seventh story in the Carfano Crime family series. I absolutely did NOT want to set this book down until I read the last page. I was completely captivated from beginning to end. In my opinion, this book has a marvelous plot, wonderful characters and a breathtaking outcome for the main characters. This book follows the story of Santino and Mia. I loved seeing their story unfolding throughout the book and I couldn’t get enough of their amazing story. I do love that Mia and Santino have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together. I would absolutely give this book as a suggestion to anyone who loves reading mafia romances. Author Rebecca Gannon continues to show what a brilliant author she is with each book that I have read by her so far and I can’t wait to see what will come next from this amazing author in the future.

Arranged by Rebecca Gannon delivers a fast-paced, relationship-driven romance set against a lightly brushed mafia backdrop. If you're in the mood for a quick read with intense chemistry and classic tropes, this one might be for you.
The story centers on Santino and Mia, two characters with deep roots in mafia families, though the plot keeps that world mostly at the edges. This is very much a mafia light story—the danger and crime elements are present but secondary. The heart of the book is the dynamic between our main couple.
The relationship hits a lot of familiar romance beats: insta love, he falls first, and arranged marriage. While these tropes might not break new ground, they’re executed with enough charm to keep things moving. Santino and Mia have great chemistry, and watching their connection grow was enjoyable, even if it developed quickly.

Little Disappointed

I absolutely love this series but this book seemed to be lacking everything. It seemed way to short and rushed and not nearly detailed like the others in this series. The other books were full of twist and turn plots and details of each family member and the very in depth story of how the fathers die. This book and just a very short glance of background. This book could have been written way better with more details and felt better connection to the characters and more family interaction like the other books like family dinner and getting together and saving the day this book had neither of those. It mentioned some other characters from the other stories by name by that’s it. Hopefully the next will by better but still read it if you follow the series.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving this review.

I enjoyed this standalone mafia romance, but I wish I had read the rest of the series first. The author included a family tree so that the reader could keep track of the characters, which is helpful. The romance between Santino and Mia was a good, drama-free mafia romance. It was more a story about the characters themselves, with mafia activity in the background (other than the meet-cute; mafia involvement was crucial to how Santino and Mia get together). While I usually stay away from instalove (or close to it) romances because I don't find them realistic, the author makes it really work for these characters. I really enjoyed the storyline (which is more about how Mia and Santino work out how to be together in an arranged marriage), so if you enjoy that, I wouldn't miss this one.

He is taking the opportunity but will make her fall in love with him

Arranged is the seventh book in the Carfano Crime Family series. Each book I have read in this series I have enjoyed and this one is no different. The story finds Mia Carfano and Santino Antonucci in an arranged marriage that originated from his negotiating her into a business deal with her family. He first saw the lovely Mia several months ago at a wedding and he became obsessed with her. When he has the opportunity to tie her to him he takes it and runs with it. Lucky for him she fell hard for him as he wooed her.
Loved this book and the way it unfolded for an arranged marriage. It is sweet but still spicy hot, romantic but still edgy and a lot more. A wonderful story and a great reading experience.

Santino Antonucci was supposed to be married previous year to Katarina Carfano… but didn't work out as she was in love and married Dante, one of the Carfano enforcers… but now there was a meeting about Santino no longer wanting to be involved with drug cartel his father got them into and was offering deal to Carfano's… although he wanted another prize, Leo Carfano's niece Mia as his bride… but he was thirty-four, a mafia don himself and she was just twenty….if the Carfano's agreed to the deal to get secondary family who was already into drug trafficking an introduction to his supplier… but would modern young woman be convinced of marrying to please the family?? You will need to read this light-hearted tale to see if love can prevail… I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

Great story! Romantic, steamy and suspenseful!

After seeing Mia from afar, Mafia Don Santino had to have her in an arranged marriage.

I enjoyed Mia and Santino. They were very similar and their banter was fun and spicy. They sure had chemistry and a great connection that grew slowly.

Mia was very resentful initially feeling like she was pushed into the marriage but soon came around. Santino had been due from the start. He was very alpha, possessive and extremely patient with Mia who was giving him attitude from the start.

Very well done. The plot was a fast paced read, with loveable characters I really enjoyed. I liked all the extra characters of the different Mafia men, all important and valuable to the story.

A must read and highly recommended!!

Santino Antonucci knows the Carfano family is looking for a partnership with another family to help with their illegal activities. Santino will become that partner, only if he is allowed to marry Mia Carfano. Santino saw Mia at another wedding only months before and became obsessed with her. He didn’t just want a contract marriage, he wanted her for life. Mia wanted nothing to do with Santino other than on paper. Of course, we know that this will never happen and Santino will charm Mia and have her change her mind.

Mia realizes she has a power over Santino, that he never realized a woman could have over him again!

I loved reading this book it was definitely amazing I couldn't put this book down, the story was written well and the characters were sensational. Santino Antonucci is a Don he is ruthless and arrogant Alpha male he was supposed to marry a cousin in the Carfano family but it fell through. Mia Carfano, she is sassy, she's feisty, and is not happy with this Arranged Marriage except her brother's think it will benefit them to remain a strong family.

I loved this book. For a mafia story, it was absolutely beautiful.
I loved these two together. Santino is a romantic at heart with just enough devil to take what he wants. With a decent age gap, Mia doesn’t want this arranged marriage. Sometimes arrangements work out perfectly though.
I have enjoyed this entire series, but the sweetness of San may be my favorite. Yes he’s obsessed, but wow, the way he will do anything for her!!!.

My Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️.25

General Thoughts: Available on KU. I love this series by Rebecca Gannon so much. The Carfano books are addicting, spicy, dark, and full of ambiance. I love this series so much. The last two have been very solid additions to the series, though I still am partial to the first five. If you love dark mafia romance, then you should definitely give this series a go. I loved how boy obsessed and gone the MMC was. I also loved that he did some of the begging in this one. Really enjoyable, solid read. Book 7 in the Carfano Crime Family series is Santino Antonucci and Mia Carfano's story. It's a great fast-paced, dramatic, intense, arranged marriage story with plenty of intrigue, chaos, danger and action. Santino and Mia are absolute perfection together and the chemistry between them is over the top HOT! This author brings another consuming story to this series with characters that'll grab your attention from the beginning. Can't wait for book 8!

Always Mine

It's Mia Carfano's love story! Oh and it's so good. In true Carfano history it's not the fairytale love at first sight... We get to deal with Santino Antonucci. Who we know from the Executioner. I couldn't get enough of either of these two! They were absolutely crazed by themselves but together the obsessed passionate blaze leaps right out at you. These pages are full of their passion and of course in true Mafia fashion all kinds of drama!

Santino became obsessed with Mia at first sight, he was meant to marry her cousin to align two family's but now he wants her and only her. Mia doesn't plan on giving into Santtino so easily, butbafter one moment of weakness between them will she be craving him more? Well written engaging steamy, age gap, great addition to the series.

Mia and Santinos story was amazing. I’ve been following this series for a while now. And I can honestly say it’s a such a great read. I love how each book and story is unique to the characters but still draws you in and this one was no different. I was shocked how much I liked Santino as a character. He was obsessed with Mia in the best way possible. And I love how Mia handled everything she truly was a great character to see blossom. Can’t recommend this series more.

Arranged was Santino and Mia’s story. Her family needs to make a deal with his, and as the head of the Antonucci family, the only way Santino will agree to help is if she marries him. So she’s only marrying Santino because her family needs this deal to go through, and just because she’s agreeing to the marriage, doesn’t mean she’s agreeing to give him anything more. It was an exciting and engaging read. I received a copy of the book and voluntarily leaving my review.

Santino and Mia. Their families are making a deal. After seeing her the only way he will agree is if she marries him. She'll marry him for her family but she wont let him have her. The one thing she doesnt count on is their chemistry. Both are strong caharecters. She knows what he wants and she makes him work for it and work he does. Great romance.

Arranged is a good story and with likeable characters. The merging of families between Mia and Santino and the small amount of suspense will keep your interest while you get to their HEA. Unfortunately, as a fan of mafia romance books, this arranged marriage plot has been done quite often before. I liked Gannon's writing, which enabled me to finish the book easily, but I most likely would not read it again.

Great story! Santino Antonucci and Mia Carfano kept me up all night! I was thoroughly engaged with this reluctant bride - mafia romance. Santino knew she was his the moment he saw her but Mia wasn't going to give in so easy. Santino would walk through fire for Mia, but she couldn't see that until she got out of her own head and accepted what her heart really wanted. I love this series and Arranged is a perfect addition.

This is the seventh book in the Carfano Crime Family series. I loved it. It’s so captivating, I was drawn in right away. Santino knew he wanted Mia as soon as he laid eyes on her! He is just the best book boyfriend! Mia is a great character, as well. This story is steamy, enticing and romantic. It’s a very entertaining must-read.
