4.5 ⭐️ Thank you to the author for allowing me to be apart of her ARC team!! Listen I’m usually not a fan of insta love stories but this one was done SEAMLESSLY! Even though it was a novella it had a great story line and character development! Trinity and Remedy are giving BLACK BOSS ENERGY….and I’m here for it! For this to be her debut novel it was AMAZING! I can’t wait to see what’s next for the residents of Indigo Falls

Baby this was my very 1st read by Miss Denise and sis YOU DID THAT!!!!!!! From page one she hooked me and I was locked in. Trinity was that girl but she damn sure didn’t see Remedy coming. They was PHUCKIN and I mean PHUCKIN I loved everything about this story.

The energy, the effort, the dates, the pace, the feels, all of it. Trinity tried to fight it and Remedy was a patient man. I went in with no expectations and had the best time. Now I can’t wait to learn Rahim’s story because I’m definitely intrigued to learn about that situation.

You deserve your flowers Miss Denise because you wrote the hell outta this story.

I really hate that I can’t give half stars. This was more of a 3.5 for me. I had some issues with this in the beginning probably because instalove is typically not my jam. Overall for a debut novel I liked it. It hooked me more in the end. Rem and Trinity were cute, had great chemistry, and developed well for a novella. The sneak peek for the next book has me locked in though. I’m definitely looking forward to that one.

Absolutely a great start

This book had me hooked from page 1 and never lost my interest I love that this story was fast paced the chemistry between Trinity and Remedy was fire. I can't wait to see what this author creates next Thank you for allowing me to read your debut It was phenomenal great job.

I lived for this story! Trinity and Remedy’s chemistry was everything.

Jazmine Sullivan was the soundtrack in my head the entire time, and I wasn’t mad at it at all. Trinity sang BPW with her whole chest and honestly, I respected every note.

They definitely made me want to take my ass to the gym 😩

Get those New Years resolutions in order ladies because the love of your life may be at the gym ready to spot you on the weights! 🏋🏽‍♀️ This was most definitely the case for Trinity. After a failed night of passion left her unfulfilled, she goes to the gym for a late night workout looking to blow off some stress and let’s just say what Tyus didn’t do, Remedy for d*mn sure did.

Remedy and Trinity hit it off quickly and as we’ve heard time and time again, it doesn’t take a man long to know what he wants and this case he wanted Trinity and made it known immediately! We stan a 🥷 that’s not wasting our time. Remedy put full court pressure on Trinity and with only one shot to impress her, he gave her the first dates of all first dates and I loved that for them both.

Erica did fully disclose that this was a fast paced story and I didn’t mind that. Some of my favorite novellas are fast paced. What I did struggle with was the connection between the characters. We were told about a lot of conversation and moment that happened off page and because we weren’t privy to these conversations, we were not able to connect in a way that we could have had we read them first hand.

For this to have been a debut novel, Erica really did a good job. I’m feeling her writing style a lot and loved the banter amongst the characters, friends, siblings etc. Had there been more on page development this would have been 4 stars. I LOVED the representation of having a plus sized heath and fitness influencer because who better to guide you than someone currently navigating through the same journey. I have no doubt that with time Erica will give us great stories! She has me HIGHLY intrigued when it comes to Rahim’s story because I’m a sucker for a troubled marriage trope working through reconciliation and will definitely lock in when that is released!

I enjoyed this novella. I loved the banter and the author’s writing style. Also a plus size FMC & a gym bro? Yes please. Sir said “I don’t bench press 400lbs for nothing”. Even though it was a super quick story and pretty fast paced I felt like I still got a good semblance of the character’s personalities and their connection. I do think a lot of their relationship building happened off page and I think that was due to the length of the book. If this were a full length novel I have full confidence that the author would have done a great job of fleshing out their relationship more. But what we did see, I enjoyed. This was my first read by this author and I’d definitely read more.

Remedy and Trinity

A short novella about the journey of Remedy and Trinity.. she had just moved to Indigo Falls a couple months prior and joined a gym, interested in a partnership and becoming a brand ambassador.. prior to her meeting she had a late night at the gym.. and had what she thought would be a one night stand at the gym with Remedy.. only to find out later at the meeting that Remedy was the owner and partner in her escapade.. He really liked her though and applied pressure and they eventually became a couple.. it was cute

Erica baby you ate this book up. I loved the story and its flow. Trinity became Remedy’s good thing. I loved the plus size representation and that fact that she was loved appropriately and not with side comments about her weight sprinkled in. For Remedy it was simple “I saw you, I wanted you, I loved you!”.

Phenomenal Debut!

Brava, Ms. Erica!!!! If you didn't tell us this was your debut novel, I would not have known. I loved Trinity and Remedy so much! I love an instalove story and theirs was was HOT!!!! That opening scene tickled me, but that next gym scene!😳🥵🫠🤭 I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us! 5 ⭐ Stars!

Don’t Think! Go read!

From the first page, I was hooked! this book had me kicking my feet and blushing through the whole thing! There were parts where I literally was SCREAMING! This was such a good book! I literally didn’t put it down. I loved the characters. I loved Trinity and her friendship with China. Their dialogue had me dying.

Short, sweet & to the point

This was page turner! Hooked me from the very first sentence. I just love when "He falls first" As the saying goes, "If he wanted to, he would" That was certainly true for Remedy and how he felt about Trinity. This introduction to this author led me down a rabbit hole, and now I must complete her catalog. I highly recommend!

Trinity and Remedy hit it off from the moment they met. Liked how they both grew in their relationship and business along the appearance from Taj, Kaya, Truce, and Sanai. Chessley just wanted some attention and to be relevant. Now Rahim’s story is going to be interesting because Sheree was not playing around when it came to Rahim not making time or listening to her.

What a Debut

This story was such a good time. Trinity and Remedy had instant chemistry and was immediately getting to the pleasure. I love that Remedy didn’t allow Trinity to run from him. I came across this story at the perfect time to check off New To Me, novella, and nasty November. Can’t wait to get Rahim’s story
