Picked this cozy off my shelf because of the purple cover. It was a pleasant piece of fluff. Lots of plausible suspects. I still feel like they didn't clearly explain how the guilty party did the first murder. It made more sense for the other suspects to know how to execute it. Can't say that I feel that much attachment to any of the recurring characters or the setting. But it was a decent distraction.

Sew deadly

Loved the book and the series. One thing I’m noticing is how many misspelled words there are. I need to find a job reading this series before it is printed

When Tess volunteers at the local senior center, she discovers that a few of the members aren't very nice. They fight about everything or cruelly make fun of others In fact, there are a couple who rankle just about everyone. When the nasty old biddy Edwina is poisoned, everyone seems more relieved than upset. Tess tries to find the murderer and starts with a very long lists of suspects.

I like Tess and the narrative is solid. There are a few point of view shifts that aren't very smooth, but overall it's an easy read.

This book is a light mystery. Although the dialogue isn't terribly witty, the story line is interesting and it makes a quick read. I'd give it 3.5 stars.

The sense that the POV was messy put me off a bit. A clearer POV would have improved it.
