And my god was I so grateful for my past self (go me!!)
I was hooked! This book grabbed me and I just devoured all of it in one sitting.
Kallie has a dark past that she does not want anyone to find out about. And when I was reading about it, it was so heartbreaking (please check trigger warnings) and then having Sebastian there with his PR and hollywood and everything my heart hurt for her honestly.
"I'm watching my life move around me like a tornado, yet it doesn't include me even though I'm caught in the eye of its storm."
And then we have Gabriel King.
Everything you want from Gabriel King, trust me he delivers and more.

It didn't take much for me to become addicted in all the best ways. I devoured every page from the edge of my seat as I settled into page-turning, unpredictable bliss. Gabriel King was the perfect embodiment of dominant and possessive deliciousness. If the triggers don't stop you, I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

I’m not sure I can really express how I felt about Bared Betrayal! I was stunned, agitated, nervous and found myself engrossed! Deep moments, secrets, and I mean big secrets with twists and turns had me on edge! Truths revealed and shocked moments! I devoured this one! Awesome read!

The connection these characters share is illicit, depraved but all so beautiful.
Kallie Sawyer is a broken, guilt ridden and tortured soul who wants to free herself of the sorrow and endless need to feel her pain. She finds exactly what she wants/needs and more in the form of one very dominant, possessive and powerful man named Gabriel King.
The forbidden is what fuels our attraction to their addictive and all-consuming story.
You’ll want to hate these characters for succumbing to their temptation beyond their meeting at Myth however, this girl wanted nothing more but for them to have their HEA.
Don’t judge until you have read this book and other characters show their true colours.
If you have read the Dark Sovereign series by Bella you’ll be happy to see some of those characters making an appearance…I know I did!

I have a huge trigger with cheating, but this book didn't bother me at all. When someone is in a loveless/sexless relationship then I don't consider it cheating.
This book did hit on some of my favorite tropes, age-gape, BDSM club, and mafia style men. This book is wonderful. I loved the characters and the story. This book is a must read!! Another great book by Bella J.

Bella J. does it again! If you have ever read Cruel God or Depraved, you know she doesn't shy away from sensitive topics. This story pulls at your heartstrings; poor Kallie has been through so much, and all she is looking for is someone who will love her for who she is. I ate this book up. I couldn't put it down; that's what I love about Bella's writing: she hooks you right from the start.

4⭐️ I ate this right on up! The plot, the spice, the danger & mystery, the way that the book took me through a million different emotions! My heart was breaking for Kallie, raging yet stanning the betrayal, like, I was expecting a simple ex bfs dad romance and yettttt this kept me on the edge of my seat.

Bared Betrayal is full of surprises and steamy encounters! Kallie suffered a severe trauma that changed her entire life and family. She agrees to marry upcoming actor Sebastian to try to love a normal and safe life. But something is missing, which is how she finds herself at an adult club with a mysterious man who is not afraid to give her the pain she needs. It's only at her engagement party that she realizes her masked man is her soon to be father in law Gabriel. Gabriel and Sebastian have a complex relationship due to sebastians meddlesome's grandmother, and though Gabriel wants to repair it, he can't give up Kallie. They lose themselves in their lust, which turns into more as all of Kallie's secrets begin to come to light.
This book is the definition of dark and steamy! It's easily a 5 pepper spice rating, and so well done! Kallie is understandably lost and sorting through massive amounts of guilt and trauma while trying to survive each day. I love that Gabriel is the first person to truly fight for her and want more for her than just to survive the day. He listens to her needs and is so attentive while also being protective. Holy 🔥🔥🔥🔥! This book was fire beyond fire! I love when an author can mix the hottest spice and still have an epic love story! Too many times the spice is all a book has but that is not the case with Bares Betrayal. Bella J does an amazing job with character and story development. You will empathize with Kallie and fall in love with Gabriel!

A new author to me and wow I was impressed.
This book had everything, from horrific young adult tragedies to bearing your soul, your secrets & your body to your soon to be husbands father.
What a storyline.
This book had me in tears it also had me wanting to throw my Kindle in some parts.
I can't recommend this book highly enough, I know it won't be for everyone as it contains some very dark material. But there is a happily ever after and it shows the absolute resilience of the human spirit.

This was everything I didn’t know I needed in a book.
It was so unbelievably hot.
It broke my heart.
It damn near made me throw my kindle at a few points.
If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. It’s been a long time since a book genuinely shocked me, and caught me off guard. But damn I was not expecting the twists and revelations.
This is a very. Very. Dark book. There is extremely triggering subject matter in just about every chapter. It does end with a HEA. But the path to get there is rough I’m not going to lie. It was worth every heart wrenching moment.

Wow! Dark and Twisted! Unpredictable! I really didn't know how this was going to be resolved!
Kallie is a young woman in her early twenties. She has a traumatic past and lots of unresolved guilt. She's been running from her past; changed her name, moved from her home town. She maintains a low profile, living an uneventful life away from the public eye. It's all she wants...and to forget. But sometimes she just can't quiet the screams and chaos in her head. Especially when stressed or forced into the public eye.
Sebastian is the young man she's been seeing for a while. She feels safe with him because he was patient with her and he never asks questions. When he proposes, she accepts thinking she'll have that safe, quiet, normal life she's always wanted. But Sebastian's been "discovered". He has a promising acting career now, and their pre-wedding events are being turned into a media promotion.
Gabriel, older, with the cobalt blue eyes. He came from the wrong side of the tracks; was cheated out of everything when he was younger. He made his own way, became a wealthy man by fair means and shady ones. He vowed to never let anyone control him again. Now he's the one in control, the owner of a major shipping company, doing business, and is friends, with the Dark Sovereign. He's into dark kink and sits on the board of Myth, a very private and exclusive bdsm, sex club owned by the Dark Sovereign. (You'll be familiar with this if you've read Alexius and Nicoli's stories. Not necassary to read before this one, but I loved their stories too.)
Sebastian's grandmother has taken over the planning of the wedding and pre-wedding events. Kallie has no control and it's turning into a media circus, causing doubts. In order to cope, she visits her therapist and reveals some darkness. Her therapist recommends something out of the norm thinking it might keep her from returning to old harmful habits....Myth.
When she can't take anymore, Kallie makes the call. At Myth, she's one of 20 girls wearing masks waiting to be placed on the alter and 'sampled'; hoping to be chosen by an Elite for the night. She's drawn to the man in the mask watching the proceedings from the balcony. His cobalt blue eyes mesmerize her, calm her nerves like nothing ever has before. Still, when it's her turn to go on the alter, she can't do it. She's about to back out when she hears a voice behind her..." Close your eyes." ..... and she obeys...

There were times I thought maybe they'd end up in a threesome, because honestly, I had no clue how this was going to be resolved. And I didn't see that ending coming until it was in my face. So good!

Wow love this! Love reading Kallie and Gabriel story even if in some places in the story was so sad to read it was good reading how Kallie and Gabriel found their love and the happy ending that they so much deserve.

OMG! Bared Betrayal is part of the Dark Sovereign world and is a age gap romance. This book had my anxiety at an all time high and I absolutely loved it. Gabriel and Kallie are perfect for each other. This book has lots of secrets and some serious heat. A definite must read.

I cannot believe what I just read. This book is excellent and I'm wishing it didn't have to end.
I am not usually one to read a book with cheating but this book was so much more.
The story of Gabriel and Kallie took on a life if it's own. The suspense, attraction, and the truth of Kallie's past was woven into the most beautiful ending.
I am going on to read more books by Bella J.

Non sono nuova nella conoscenza del Mito. Infatti conosco le regole e quello che succede dietro le porte, e tutto questo grazie alla serie "Sovrano Oscuro", dove troviamo anche qua i fratelli Del Rossa. Ritrovare Nicoli e Alexius è stata un'emozione indescrivibile.
Il mio consiglio prima di leggere la serie "Club Mito" è quello di leggere il "Sovrano Oscuro", in modo tale da avere un quadro completo sul Mito.
Bella J è sempre una garanzia. Ogni suo romanzo riesce a travolgermi e coinvolgermi emotivamente, riuscendo con la sua penna a farmi entrare in empatia con i suoi protagonisti, tanto che ogni volta diventa difficile lasciali andare.
Ho trovato la trama molto avvincente, coinvolgente e ricca di colpi di scena.
Come sempre l'autrice tratta argomenti che possono urtare la sensibilità del lettore, siamo davanti a un Age Gap, dark, con all'interno scene BSDM.
Consiglio la lettura per chi ama il genere. Adesso non mi resta che leggere "Caccia spietata" con protagonista Davian Stark, altro membro d'Élite dei Sovrano Oscuro.

The FMC has a very traumatic past, like she’s changed her name, hasn’t told anyone except her therapist, and has specific needs and desires related to that so per the recommendation of her therapist, she goes to a very private club to explore ways to deal with that. She meets the MMC and has an experience with him neither can forget. A couple weeks later, during her engagement party, she meets the estranged father of her fiancé and even though he had a mask on at the club, she recognizes him and he recognizes her. The MMC is outraged and the FMC is in shock and even though they now know who each other is and try to fight it, they can’t get past the time they had together. This book is very spicy. Like start to finish. Heavy BDSM content. The push and pull and regret makes up the majority of the book and everything comes to a head the last 10-15%. Overall, I enjoyed this for a taboo romance. I listened on audiobook and not sure I would recommend that but the story is a yes.

Having read this author's work many times before I always look forward to picking up more! As soon as I found out about this book while on social media I immediately wanted to read it. I got right into this story. I enjoyed it so much!
Kallie's journey pulled me in right from the very get go! Kallie is trying to start a new life with her fiancé, but she must face things about herself first. It leads her to Gabriel King and everything just even more complicated. Can Kallie go after what she wants and end up with her heart still intact?
From every teaser for this book to the moment that I got to dive in, it had my full attention immediately. I admired Kallie and her strength so much. Gabriel had me blushing and going heart eyes. Diving into the unexpected and darkness with these two was something I very much enjoyed! I felt so much with these characters from start to finish!

This is another book when I nearly didn’t read it because of the blurb and the cheating element and like with the previous book I’m so glad I didn’t let my preconceptions get in the way of my reading it. Yes, technically the heroine cheats on her fiancé but as it turns out, as the book progresses, he’s not a very nice man and doesn’t deserve Kallie. Kallie is troubled and after reading her story who can blame her. Events in her past have left her traumatised and changing her name to escape didn’t help much. What she went through would’ve destroyed a weaker woman. Dark and intense, and full of secrets and revelations, twists and turns, Bared Betrayal is so much more than a typical story about cheating. This book was an emotional rollercoaster, and I loved every second of it especially the epilogue.

I loved Kallie and Gabriel! These two could not be more perfect for each other. When Kallie agreed to marry Sebastian, she knew he was not right for her. Being safe was all she ever wanted till things went to other direction. The night she met Gabriel she knew what she wanted and he was the only one who could give that to her. I loved Kallie and Gabriel! These two could not be more perfect for each other. When Kallie agreed to marry Sebastian, she knew he was not right for her. Being safe was all she ever wanted till things went to other direction. The night she met Gabriel she knew what she wanted and he was the only one who could give that to her. Not knowing he was her future father in law, put everything in different perspective and there was no way she could stay away.

I was really curious with this book but it ended up being kind of a disappointment. . .
The characters and the story had everything to be crazy good but ended up being kind of bland and not that original at all.
This wasn't exactly awful but it wasn't amazing either.

Ooooh I’ve waited for this since the end of “Unravelled” from the Dark Sovereign series & It.Did.Not.Disappoint.
(Finally, after a run of bad luck with books!)
It’s hot & filthy with a great forbidden element- it’s not acceptable to be hitting up the sex clubs with your soon to be father in law after all. It’s a dark romance I guess because of the S&M/ submissive element, and her traumatic past, but there’s not any of the violence that you’d expect from a lot of this genre.
What I loved about this is the care the characters have for each other. There’s some serious issues at play here but it’s not drawn out & doesn’t feel manipulative. There’s no game playing. And when he hurts her it’s never done with malicious intent or to humiliate her.
That’s such a major turn off. (Am I prude that I don’t want to be gobbed on?!)
I really enjoyed this & it felt like a return to form after I was disappointed by the Nicolai instalment to this book universe.

This book had trigger warning. You must read them. This one is a gotcha. I didn't see this one coming. Gabriel and Kallie were walking a thin line. Kallie had memories that were hard to overcome. Gabriel being the alpha-male wanted to be the one to fix/control whatever the problem was. When Gabriel hears the trauma Kallie has endured. He wants to be the one that helps her. But who is taunting Kallie, why now? Who has it out for her? Will Gabriel be able to help? Read the book. It's a good one.

I was not ready for Bared Betrayal. Yes, I read the blurb, and it lured me in. A 20-year age gap, fiancee's father, BDSM, and forbidden romance with so many secrets. It became obvious within the first couple of chapters that it was so much more. The depth, the journey, the emotions and the heartache make this story phenomenal.
And Bella J's writing? Phenomenal. She created an intricate web where revelations and twists are finely interwoven. Every detail and clue has been thought and carefully put in. It all eventually plays out, even if it is barely noticeable or seems unimportant when you read it. Even the cheating makes sense. No, I'm not condoning it, nor am I saying, "Yes, there is cheating, but it's not really cheating in the end." So let me be clear: there is cheating. But story-wise... OMG, what a role it plays.
Because of the sensitive nature of Kallie's past, please read the trigger warnings. Amid heartbreaker, she shows how resilient and strong she is. She dislikes being in the spotlight, which is a bit hard when her fiance is an up-and-coming Hollywood actor.
Gabriel King is larger than life. He oozes authority and thrives on control but is also fiercely protective. He is so in tune with Kallie. He really sees her finding strength and beauty in what others perceive as weakness and brokenness.
So... read the triggers, and if you decide this could be a book for you, go in almost blind and with an open mind. Relax and enjoy the ride. I'll see you on the other, darker side.

Betrayal turns to true love
This is the first book I’ve read from Bella & I will definitely reading more from her. When I first read about the cheating I was like hell know about so glad it ended the way it did & I figured the grandmother had something to do with her past coming out but really Sebastian was the one who did all the texts, note & etc. seriously was surprised by that!!! Sorry for the spoiler
