I mean, this is Grey; what did you expect? Roulette is literally my favorite from the R sisters; if you've read the earlier novels in the Grey List series, you know the confidence that the R sisters symbolize and Chemistry never lets them forget, but she represented feminine energy I mean, a red lip, embarking about with a transparent robe and heels in her house. Roulette was a confident and liberated woman, and she had three straightforward rules for the men she engaged with.
Rule #1: Stay away from people I know, trust, and love. Rule #2: Don't fuck with anyone who could fuck with my money . Rule #3: Absolutely no children.
So when she returns home and discovers that the man she has been dealing with for six years has broken not one, but three, of the rules, he MUST GTF. Chino, knowing he's fucked, is eager to give Roulette everything she wants in exchange for a chance to get her back. When she demands two million and a night with his mentor, Israel, things get risky.
Israel is a real Grey Huffington man, despite his own baggage. I mean BIG D ENERGY. After one night, Israel knew he wanted Roulette and was determined to win her heart and be the one who enticed her to settle down and be a one-man lady. His lady, to be exact. You already know how typically a Grey romance story unfolds, and I thoroughly loved it. I do wish that we got to see Roulette in action as madam. I’m still confused a bit on the role she plays in the organization. I did enjoy reading about strong black female characters, but the way Roulette is written and her unapologetic inner thoughts taught me something about being a powerful woman who knows herself. But ultimately, we're all "just a girl" in this vast world, so why shouldn't we be able to get the things that we desire or require? And you SHOULD have it ALL, PERIOD!!
Roulette may have been a girls girl, but she was hell on heels towards men and I loved it!
With a name like Roulette, you would think her role in the family has to do with gambling, but that was far from the truth. Any games she played were only to secure big bags with 0 chance of losing. She was in fact The Madam, she taught women to use their femininity to have men WANTING to open up their wallets.
The story opens up with Roulette being betrayed by Chino, the only man she trusts outside of her family along with one of her workers. The revenge tour Roulette went on....Chile I wasn't ready and neither was Chino's dumb azz. Talk about the fumble of the century. Although, on the surface she was nonchalant she handled him strategically. Making sure the pain she felt was 10 times worse for Chino and she did exactly that.
Israel, was a man that was off limits but when those limits were compromised he was now a man that Roulette was intrigued by. Israel was giving BOSS energy, BDE, fk around and find out energy. He was in a complicated situation, but that did not stop him from claiming Roulette as his own, despite her disbelief in monogamy. These two were just so damn good together in and out of the bedroom. I love how they complimented each other. The vulnerability they expressed to each other was just everything.
Things I loved ❤️: Moments with the sisters Moments with Chem The protectiveness and love shown to Malayla Attempting to slap the Maybelline off a heaux 🤣 The next level pettiness Israel, he was just thee MF man consistently Roulette, both her femininity and fire sides
I wanted to experience Roulette the business on page. There was a lot of behind the scenes and prep work, but I think there was a missed opportunity for us to see her actually in madam mode. I wanted to see her workers in action too.
Overall, I really enjoyed the story. Roulette may just be my favorite.
Yes.. you need to read this one. It's super sexy with a lot of physical activity. Be prepared to get down and dirty with Roulette and Isreal. My man Chemistry makes an appearance, so all is right with the universe. Roulette will work your nerves with her free spirited thinking, watch out, because Israel will match her intensity every step of the way.
5⭐️ and 4.5🌶️ "Roulette" Book #3 (I will always recommend you read any series in order to have the best reading experience)
Yall know by now what it takes to get a 5 out of me. I cannot shut up about this book. I really got to page 418 and started looking for more pages because I didn't want it to end. I immediately wanted to start over at page 1!👏🏾 And I did.
As I started reading I said "Oh! Roulette is who I wanted Rugger to be!" So I was VERY excited I was finally getting what I wanted. I knew Rugger and Roulette were going to be my favorite sisters from their banter, their dynamics, and the way they talked about relationships with their other sisters. They have that fire about them and Roulette kept it from beginning to end. She did not fold, bend, or break for any man and I LOVED that for her. Everyone doesn't need the same ending and I was just rejoicing that Roulette stayed true to what she desired in life. She is The Madam. Roulette literally witnessed the ultimate betrayal in the first few pages and the way she handled it had me on the edge of my seat. Her revenge was unhinged and sweet. She had me saying "More of this PLEASE!" 😂 (I have questioned my own sanity here lately with some of these revenge plots because I'm 100% here for them lol)
Roulette's love was unmatched. She loved HARD even though she didn't want to admit it, she can't deny her love and activism for women. And one little lady captured her heart and I melted at their relationship.
There's so much more I want to say, but I refuse to give tropes for this book because it will spoil you and I need yall to be surprised while reading. Lol So jump in my DMs after you read it. Just know she's going on my shelf and I love that it was a 5⭐️ for me. ♥️🫶🏾
I loved it!!!! As always I'm caught up in ALL things Grey Huffington!! This book was good from the beginning to the end. There is nothing wrong with being unapologetically who you are.... always walking your truth. Y'all just read the damn book.
The timing of this book could not have been more perfect, Roulette embodied the spirit of Aries season like no other. This was a birthday gift and a love letter to women all over the world. While I appreciated Israel’s contributions Roulette was the star of the show and my book universe. The story was delightful and believe it or not inspiring just in the way Roulette carried herself, carried the women around her and carried the spirit of her newest protégé. While this was a love story it was even more than that. This is gonna have to be my first hard copy book I pick up in years. Grey you did that
Over the moon , Roulette & Israel 😍🤤‼️ stuckkk in my memory….
If you are sleeping on Grey you are the freaking problem cause what??!! Pure talent . The Readers Note Point. Blank. Period. cause yeaa what did you thought?!
Overstimulated !!! I’m on such an high , I can read this book over & over again. Definitely running it back before the year is out.
Roulette & Israel are pressure separately & together my goodness ! How he’s stepping behind her chef’s kiss 🤌🏽.
Roulette is that girlllll I love everything about her , truly girl girls and that’s one thing I love the MOST & her , Malaya , Yara it’s really something you have to witness cause beautiful / real / raw. & how el did not let up that made me love him even more!
Crazy love by Brian McKnight that’s my song choice for them!
Rou & Big Fella are sexy asf , the spiceeee is spicyyy (IYKYK) LITERALLY ! Gone ahead and let them blow yo mindddddd!!! 😮💨
I love to see Teddy interaction with each sister and watching it unfold in their own book cause he’s truly a Gem!
Rome I love her down!!!!! ( I can’t wait to see how her & lay relationship turns out I have a good feeling about them!
My love made an appearance“Makai” & I was so excited ! 🥰
This book was good from the start! I laughed so much reading it. I also smiled and almost shed tears, both happy and sad. Grey Huffington will make you feel and really speak to your soul as a woman.
Roulette is so easy to love. She’s hard on these men but so soft on the girls. And I absolutely love that about her. BUT, listen one person I would hate to PISS off is HER. SHE HAD CHINO SIIIICKKKK!!
Israel aka BIG FELLA talked that talk and walked that walk. He let Rou be…within reason (maybe) cus he didn’t play. That trip to Colombia did it for me🤭
Ahhh, I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. If you like your FMC spicy, about that life, and the ultimate girl’s girl, then you’ll LOVE it!
I thoroughly enjoyed Roulette!! I am amazed with Grey’s writing style and how she’s able to efficiently pen these stories so flawlessly without it feeling repetitive. Lastly, In Roulette, Grey continued to excite me with interesting and intriguing characters in the close-knit world of our most beloved, gracious, and deadliest king. CHEMISTRY!!
Ps I cannot wait to meet the rest of the sisters!!
This book was one that ended stronger than it began for me. I struggled because the prologue and a handful of early chapters just didn’t reel me in. I almost marked it as dnf but, Israel is honestly what saved it for me. I wasn’t much of a fan of Roulette’s in the beginning, but as time went on she grew on me and it changed how I felt about her. She and Israel had great chemistry and her relationship with Malaya was my favorite.
I couldn’t wait to find out who Grey was going to write about after Rugger. Then, after finding out who, I couldn’t wait to read about Roulette. Now that it’s over, I am hung over already but can’t wait to see who is next. Wtbs, I have to get this off my chest. Matias 🥲🥲🥲 I actually liked him. I hated he died. I’m guessing he was the competition Chem was referring to that needed to be eliminated. But I liked him. I love the family dynamics and how Teddy is always involved. The way his siblings cling to him and the way he doesn’t play about them is so refreshing in every story. Roulette reminds me of myself in a lot of ways. That stubborn girl kept me smh at her. The women’s empowerment in this book alone made me smile so much. It was uplifting to read. Roulette put her big girl pants on and let her heart lead. The way she took on Malaya, lit a fire beneath Yara, and let Kiara and Chino live after the betrayal. This could have been written a totally different way but because of the way Grey’s mind and pen game is, she wrote an uplifting story with so many lessons. Israel!!! Lawd! The patience this man had with Roulette! My lawd if BDE was a person it would be himmm. He was so patient and loving and vulnerable with Roulette but when he put his foot down with her, he did not play. He was a little selfish with her initially, putting his needs first, not understanding that Roulette didn’t want to feel forced into anything. Rome warned him. That’s why she went to Matias. Chino was wrong and scandalous. He did my girl dirty for a woman he claimed he was using to pass the time. He didn’t follow the rules. Roulette’s get back was perfect tho. In the end, his karma caught up to him and now he can watch from his wheelchair 🤣🤣🤣

The books just keep getting better and better!!! Her name is Roulette, and she is nothing to play with, okay?! I loved everything about this book. The overlapping timelines across the different POVs were chef’s kiss—more authors need to do this because it adds so much depth to each character’s emotions and inner world.
Roulette’s femininity absolutely oozed off the pages. I need her to host a TEDx talk titled “The Subtle Art of How to Be a Bad Btch.” Truly iconic. And Chino… whew. Talk about fumbling the BAG.
This was a book for the girls who love girls—period. Israel was HIM in every sense of the word and has officially earned a permanent spot on my book-boyfriend shelf. The spice level? VERY spicy, but perfectly balanced to fit the characters and the story.
Roulette gave me what I was missing from Rugger. She may also be my fave sis so far but Rugger still has my heart although her story was meh.
Roulette was exactly who she said she was. When she said she was going to get her lick back, she took that plus tax.
Chico’s character didn’t need to be there. He was just a means to a bigger end.
I am loving the Grey List men! Israel the man you are 🥵 he gave Roulette everything and put her on punishment.
I still feel weird about them romanticizing Chem. Sis that’s your brother not your husband or your lover.
Not enjoying the “I can change your mind” trope. Grey also put in the notes/prologue and everywhere else that we needed to step our cookies up and I think it was O-D. Nothing in this chapter was that out there for me to reconsider my femininity 🤷🏽♀️
The Madam was confident .. one of the most confident women I have ever read. Israel was was definitely the right man to tame the feral cat in her. Great story well placed action. Great story line and spice
Spoiler but if I was Fidel I would have got my happy ass up the first time lol bc WHAT?!?! Crazy scene.
Grey did not come to play with Madam she was an all-around girls' girl and I appreciate her energy throughout this whole book, it's highly motivating. 🥰Isreal was not playing with her and I loved every single time he expressed his love.
Roulette: The definition of a boss Bi*ch. Tethered to no one but herself, find her man that ain’t her man but is her man, with his pants down and more excuses than a whore in church. Roulette’s response; cool well might as well smash his homie right ?? Lmao. Roulette was not to be played with. You go low she’s going straight to hell all while well dressed and paid!!! She was a woman who kept a man begging to see her, buy her, do for her and she only moved when she wanted !!
Israel: a man about his daughter, his money and now his Princess. This man was absolutely unhinged and truly the definition of a man if there was one. He was no push over and he made sure to let Roulette know “You are mines!”
This book was soooooooooo good I can’t stop thinking bout it. Roulette learned that her past men were boys and Israel was a man who was in charge. When she left to go out the country, cause She was angry!!! The way Israel showed up and showed out!!! Then put her in punishment 🥵!!! Listen this is a book you need in your life. RUN!!!!! Tell me what you think after.
Everything she write imma love and this was no exception.
The way roulette kicked that man out the threesome!!!!
The way Israel killed everything behind her in the house and took her home and put her ass on punishment !!!
The way Israel made sure to tell her to stop playing with hind grown ass!!!! Oh that was a man!!! I love him down bad

Grey, you have done it again. I absolutely loved the opening note for the book.
Roulette/Madam marches to the beat of her own drum. She isn't moved by the concerns of others and makes no apologies for it. Baby that get back was something serious. Little did she know that get back would turn into something oh so deliciously sweet. Roulette didn't think she'd meet another man so soon who not only understood her but was confident enough in himself to provide the space for her to remain true to her being.Isreal applied pressure her body, heart and mind. Sometimes the things we think we don't want, still have a way of instilling themselves into our life.
I can't wait to read what happens next for these two in Isreal's novella.

So I listened to the audiobook. Maybe this book is better if you sit down and read the hard copy but this wasn’t good at all to me. The narrator for Roulette didn’t do it for me at all. If it wasn’t for Winston James I probably wouldn’t have finished listening to the book. Out of all the books that Grey Huffington has written, the plot of this book was so basic to me. She has written books that made me feel like I was in a movie theater but I didn’t get anything close to that with this book.
Roulette beautifully captures the essence of what makes the story resonate on so many levels. The portrayal of strong, supportive female relationships is indeed a powerful aspect of the novel. Grey masterfully illustrates the concept of being a “REAL” girl's girl, emphasizing the importance of camaraderie and genuine care among women.
The character of Roulette embodies confidence and authenticity, showcasing her strength and her feminine energy. Her dynamic with Chino adds an intriguing layer to the narrative, highlighting the consequences of breaking boundaries and the complexities of attraction and desire. The way she navigates their relationship, asserting herself and holding him accountable, is a testament to her character's depth and strength.
A standout element in the story is Isreal as a father. His character is breathtaking to read, embodying a father who understands, listens, and demonstrates patience. Even though he wasn't with Malaya mother, his commitment to helping her get well is incredibly moving.
The contrast between good girls getting caught up with bad guys and having someone like Isreal stand in the gap is refreshing. His willingness to remove toxic influences in hopes of guiding his babys mother towards healing is a powerful message of support and love. In a world where many portrayals of fatherhood and Relationships can be dark and toxic, Isreal's character shines in a positive way.
The slow burn of the romance, paired with the underlying tension and fire, creates a captivating reading experience that will keeps you engaged. heart powerful empowerment resilience
And I appreciate it for its nuanced portrayal of women and fatherhood is both heartfelt and inspiring. But then again it's Grey Huffington what do you expect?
I mean, I knew I absolutely loved Rather, but Roulette? Yeah, this one is up there. This book wasn’t just a read; it was an experience. Cinematic, intense, sexy—it felt like I was watching an episode of POWER, and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. A full 10/10 stars!
I AM SCREAMING because Grey Huffington did her big one with this book! The storytelling, the tension, the chemistry? Unmatched. And I need to talk to someone who has read this because there are scenes that had me clutching my pearls and stopping mid-read just to process. Like, can we discuss the scene with Chino, Israel, and Roulette? And the way Israel asked for PRIVACY?! Whew. I had to close my Kindle and whisper, “Grey Huffington, GIRLLLLLLL.”
This book was GOOD. It was DELICIOUS. It was SEXY.
And let’s talk about Roulette because that woman? That girl. She’s strong, independent, and everything I love in a heroine. But let’s also talk about my man my man my man—Israel. Because BABY. Israel did not play about Roulette, and I love a man who can handle a powerhouse of a woman without dimming her shine.
I want to read it again already. The spice? 10/10. The connection between Israel and Roulette? 10/10. Chemistry showing up like the big brother he is? All of her sisters bringing the energy? Everything about this book was perfection.
Grey took us on a ride, and I loved every single second of it.
Keep your heels, head and standards high! (Coco Channel). This is one of my favorite quotes and Roulette was the epitome of this. I knew when Grey introduced the sisters in Chemistry’s book, Roulette would be my favorite and she did not disappoint. I absolutely LOVED how she brought her character to life!
There were so many layers to Roulette…she was a BOSS, a diva, a vixen and THE MADEM. Time was money and she didn’t play about either. You had to pay to play. On top of that, she was a girlie girl…doing “girl’s work”. The way she inspired the woman around her was so powerful and special.
But don’t get it twisted, she was stepping on necks! You would’ve thought she was using her boot on Chino with the way she kept making his chest cave in! He played her, but she showed him that she created the game.
We saw Roulette go from a person who never desired a relationship or love to slowly letting down her guard and accepting the affection and attention she deserved . Israel was exactly what she needed….dominant, patient, and generous. He led with BDE and applied the right amount pressure during his pursuit.
This book was so beautifully written. It was sexy, spicy and also pretty funny. Some characters from other books and series graced us with their presence. This book pulled me out a reading slump, but now this has me in a chokehold!
Roulette is really that girl. The way she handled Kiara and Chino was brilliant. Chino fucked up and broke all of the rules so she broke his ass. Fucking his plug, fucking with his money and fucking his big homie was my type of get back. Doesn’t matter who cheats first, just matters who cheats worse! He deserved what he got in the end. She lived up to every thought I had of her from previous books. The cameo of Makai and Malachi was beautiful. You could feel the love between the siblings. Roulette is a true girl’s girl, the way she stood in the gap for Malaya and Yara was beautiful. Israel was a MAN honey. The way he told Chino to give them some privacy was chef’s kiss. He was a natural born leader and his ability to give control to Roulette when appropriate was perfect. He was determined to make Roulette see that with him, she did not have to lead and could trust that he could and would. The way Israel was not threatened by her power and confidence was perfect. And the way he was handling niggas behind her was perfect. Beautiful story of two strong characters meeting their twin flame.
I knew I’d enjoy Roulette’s character but whew I didn’t expect to love her so much. With the way I read her prologue with ease I knew this book was the one. Chino’s ass fumbled bad and Roulette gave him hell on Earth. She constantly repeated she was that girl and she stood on that no matter who she pissed off. But it was nice seeing her be just a girl with Israel. Now Israel chile he was hooked on Roulette and refused to let up. No matter how much she said they weren’t in a relationship if she was seen with another man that crazy in him was coming out. Hell both of their asses crazy and kept me cackling while I was reading. I really enjoyed this one even the parts I didn’t like I couldn’t actually be mad at because it made sense with the plot and the characters. Rugger’s story was my favorite but baby Roulette has taken the spot easily.
I must admit it is slightly disappointing that the only sibling we’ve actually seen in their element is Rugger. She’s the huntress and we seen her hunt. Everyone else’s title seems to be put on the back burner in their stories.
