Main Master
As the Main Master, I had been prepared for anything. I lived my position. Died for it. Breathed the death and chaos that came with it. Dr. LaRoe perfected and made me so that I could rule. As my teacher, I thought I was safe from her manipulations.
Missing time and memories say otherwise.
All Melissa LaRoe ever wanted was to excel in her job. Her father was a legend. It was only natural she followed in his footsteps to go down in the history books as well. Creating the perfect Main Master did that. She’d all but won. Work. Games with the Elite. Everyone was under her control. She had it all. But what happens when work and play no longer coincide?
Not all Masters are forgiving. Not all games have rules. -Elec

Well, I think this was the end...or is it the beginning? Blood, gore, twists and revenge. Numerous stories coming to a closure, and more just beginning. Absolutely perfect.
4.5 stars For me to give this that high of a score with grammar errors, you know it has to be great.
I absolutely love this series! The hidden truths, lies, and games are coming out! I cannot believe the ending. You have to read this book if you love this series. If you haven't read any of A.A. Darks books, start with the Whitlock series. It's sooooooo good. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
In this the final book of volume 3, a lot was shared. Transparency, Clarity, and Understanding were all provided! We are finally shown how the past plots lead us to this exact moment. It’s was like peeking behind the curtain to see why certain decisions/agreements were made. Why certain people were put in specific positions/places all in preparation for a better future or maybe setting us up for a massive war within the elite family circles. I think Elec and Melissa was just one facet of battle that’s leading us to a much bigger plot. That’s just my conspiracy theory anyway on the lines that are being drawn and the sides individuals taking.
In this book, we are privy to several name dropping conversations. We discover that several past characters from other books and series are in the Gardens. WHY?? Oh man has it gotten my heart pounding with all the possibilities.
Melissa’s actions are questionable to me. Was she just an evil bitch or was it a product of her mental health issues? Is there more to her story? The book summarizes a lot. One day I hope we are taken deeper into her rise and fall.
In the end, there are a lot of journeys available for the Author to take us in the future. And I can’t wait to read every one. Melissa stepped outside herself to truly see the beauty of her creation (Elec). There is no hate in the end only love. And from her twisted love she gained a sense of pride of accomplishment. She did what she set out to do and that was to create the perfect Main Master. Melissa’s description of her own death was poetic, just, and beautiful in its chaotic madness. I loved it!
I find myself left with more questions about who Elec is becoming. Now that he has more insight into what has happened to him. BUT how much of Melissa’s influence still remains? After all he is questioning what role she’s played in his relationship with his cousin Bram. Was it his hate for his cousin or was it Melissa’s doing?? So many questions about what’s to come? And I’m here for all stories in the future that lead me back to the GARDENS OF THE GODS!!!
Plus, wtf about the bomb that was dropped regarding Bram and Everleigh!!!!! Now, that alone should bring you back for more. I mean WTF was that???!!!
If you are new to this universe of A. A. Dark. Please, please, please start at the beginning with 24690. You won’t regret it! Hands down the best series I’ve ever read!

Omg. This book is absolutely epic in its dark, psychologically twisted way. The audacity of the actions and arrogance of this woman left me gobsmacked every time she did something. And Elec....I have no words. But...I've been waiting for that ending since Melissa was first introduced. What a twisted freaking ride this book was. SO many questions were answered within. This book ties all the volumes together. This is the best book in the ENTIRE series. All volumes. The cameo at the end had my jaw dropping. FANTASTIC book.
I read an arc and willingly posted my honest review.
Finally some more insights into the mind of this crazy character. A lot of the past gets more transparent, but if one thinks that all loose ends get tied up, let me assure you, that this is not the case. Everything gets tangled even more with the 24690 series and I am thrilled to see where it’s all going. Mistress-2 seems to be another pawn in this gigantic web although it seemed different at the beginning of the GotG series. One thing is for sure, even if you don’t believe it’s coming, be assured that AA Dark is going to throw a curveball at full force at you.

15 books all leading to what the main master was up to and the truth behind mistress 2. It was all a build up and what a build up it was. Each master and mistress are sick, twisted and cruel. Mistress 2 for me was her own kind of evil but at the same time she has the same sickness as the rest of them. She just played it better.
If it wasn’t for the authors and how well they have written each book, each story, I’m not sure I could have stomached most of these books. Some even had me crying, talk about messed up. My partner thinks I’m a psycho for even reading these books lol oh well it is what it is. Anyway I can’t help but applaud the authors and their creation of a world I will never ever wish to be part of. But all the same the stories have been everything and in my own little way I’m gonna miss them all.
If you have an open mind, or dark and twisted. These are brilliant for quick reads. It definitely help if you started with Brams story first. Where it all began but I don’t think you need to but would make the reads so much better.
After the ending I’m wondering if it’s the end of Bram 😜
5 stars for Elec!! we love the Main Master. I love how this closed up some questions I had throughout the series. (but we def need more about Elec) Theres so much more for the Whitlock/gardens world and I really hope the author brings more to light. I dont think I could ever get bored, id love to know whats going on with Ev and Bram, all these little twists and seeds Elec planed. And then that ending!!! Was it bram? What’s going on there. I need to know!! THERES JUST SO MUCH!!
Best book so far in all volumes. I may be a little influenced by the amount of tea that was spilled but trust when I say this was exquisitely written and gifted to us as an offering from the Queen of Darkness herself, AA Dark.
Omg omg omg. What did I just read? This book was EVERYTHING, and has tied first place with another for my top read of the year. No brainer (no pun intended). I dragged this book out for days and I never do that, but I just didn't want it to end, especially since it meant saying goodbye to the Gardens. There was so much packed into this book, you'll feel like every part of you (including your soul) is being crushed to pieces from cover to cover. Every niggling question and doubt finally gets answered and you'll never be prepared enough for it. Definitely this authors best book to date, so I'm excited to see what she comes up with next.
Wow! Things are moving fast in the Gardens. The Main Master and Mistress Two are in a power fight that no one is not pulled into. It's really great to see in each book how the same situation is so different for each person in how they see and how they react. This book is very fast paced and fluid. The characters are all ones we know and get to know on a deeper level. Some big surprises that I never imagined. Great storyline, can't wait to see what happens next. I highly recommend this book.
This is by far the best book within the series. It’s been an eye opener meeting so many characters and seeing Mistress A-002 deal with all of the chaos, eccentric and psychotic masters and slaves but this story is everything. We get the answers that we are looking for and boy is it a real mind bender. I was on cloud nine when reading the last few paragraphs. Dreams really do come true.
The way I love, adore, and crave Alaska’s writing when she writes as A.A. Dark is no joke. Seriously, I’m not just obsessed; I’m a willing slave in the Garden. These novellas have become my catnip for several reason.
But why did Elec never once play with electricity? Throughout its been mentioned as his weapon of choice. Yet he doesn’t fry anyone… none. Nada.

It feels like everything has been building up to this book. I read the ending in the airport and I swear people were probably looking at me like a crazy person because I was freaking out.
after her 24690 Series this is her best book. while i wasn t a fan of the garden of gods, this book ties together all the other in the series and now I am looking forward to see what happens next! maybe bram will return or something even better
