Welcome to the Wickedverse. Where the universe of Calling Wood takes a darker turn.
Nothing like catching my boyfriend getting his d!ck sucked by my mom after just getting fired from my job to get into the holiday spirit.
Homeless, jobless, and single, I try to make the best out of a shitty situation.

Great prequel to a potentially epic series. Nova is not the typical omega, told from all POV. We only got a small glimpse into the alpha’s and I am definitely intrigued. I am hoping that there is some significant groveling in store for Nick…I normally tend to stay away from too much degradation but I didn’t see this coming. I can handle it if it’s in a role play sort of thing. Is this the “dark” the author is referring to? Be warned.

Amazing OV Novella
Whew, Christmas just came in May because this is such an amazing treaaaat!
This novella had my attention immediately. It’s so hot & spicy BUT with really good character development. It’s usually hard to do in a short novella but this book had me invested in these characters so fast!
Nova is strong, sassy, and a huge brat! It makes her really fun AND funny. Ian is a good boy who would go feral for Nova, Will is the broody broody man with a quiet control, and Nick is a raging a-hole who literally chases Nova down the forest (unfortunately Nova and me finds it hot).
Also there’s a KITTEN!!! The heroine, Nova, rescued a ragdoll kitten and named her Duchess.
Duchess is perfect. We must protect her at all costs!
I literally cannot wait for the full length book to follow their story because I cannot get enough. I WANT MORE MORE MORE

This one has me wanting to shake a couple of characters.
It was a good book, it definitely had me hooked. The banter and fighting was on point. This one was the perfect set up for a full length book. We got to know the characters really well. Their personalities, what they do for a living, how they all get along etc. This one was them being stuck together for weeks and it was a lot.
There was a lot of fighting a bickering but at the same time a lottttt of sweet cute little moments. The guys all have VERY different personalities but Nova handles them perfectly. She was definitely made for them. It was so easy for her to go from being sweet and flirty with Ian and Will to bantering and giving as good as she's getting with Nick.
I cannot wait to see how they work in the outside world and not stuck in a cabin for weeks. Definitely excited to see the rest of their relationship grow and become something.
My one complain is the spitting. Like girly I know he gets on ur nerves but keep ur saliva in ur mouth. This got ME mad and 🤮. Besides that I loved her. She didn't let anyone get away with anything. She stood up for herself and wasn't afraid of digging a bigger hole than the one she was currently in.

This book was so freaking good! I don’t even usually like omegaverse but I knew I had to read this because Alisha is queen! I’m now obsessed with them! Ian is my fav with his golden retriever self! Nova is great with her little sassy self I love how she doesn’t take any shit from the guys and her and Nicks fighting scenes holy cow 🥵🥵🥵. I can’t wait for the full length novel so I can learn more about the guys and their pasts! If you like Omegaverse, snowed in, some kidnapping and 3 super hot Alphas be sure to check this out!

I love Nova and her black cat energy so much! She doesn’t take any shit from any body let alone any alphas. Making the best of what she’s got in the shitty situations she’s been placed in is what she does and that doesn’t change when she meets pack Noel!
This book has it all! Primal, knotting, tying up with Christmas lights, black cat x golden retriever energy! I ate this omegaverse up!

Wow I absolutely loved this book.
Nova is hilarious and she’s gonna be added to my list of favourite FMC’s. She also reminds me of Raven lol

I hadn’t read this before now because I was waiting for the best one and I honestly can’t wait to see what happens.

I may or may not have stayed up late to finish reading this. No regrets now but I’ll probably have a bit of regret later on since I have to go to work tomorrow. I absolutely loved this story about Nova and her newfound pack of alphas. Nick, Will and Ian are not good men. They’re not the sort of men that you bring home to mom, certainly not yours and definitely not Nova’s mom either. You’ll find out why early on in the book. This was just small novella-ish piece that really got my attention from start to finish. Looking forward to more from this world, Alisha Williams did state there’s a fuller length version coming! I’m excited.

It has been a while since I read an OV book, and I forgot how good they could be. I loved Nova and her bratty attitude. Ian made my heart melt, Will was hot, and Nick was the perfect dominating alphahole that I would love to see more of. This was a great smutty read for the holidays.

Ian, the alpha who made this book reach a perfect rating for me. The devotion and love he has for Nova is just ughh 😍 I love him. "She's a bombshell and my scent match. I'd be fucking crazy to not want her." "I'm already planning our wedding in my head." Swoooon.
Will, the middle brother who's really just a broken, big teddy bear. I can't wait to see how his character progresses in Knot That Easy. "So tell me why the idea of never seeing you again, never touching you, tasting you, makes me want to tear the fucking world apart until I find you again?" "What are you doing to me, Nova?" I love him, I have a good feeling that we'll see a lot of growth with him in the next book. 🤞🏼
Nick, the oldest brother, who gives us the best enemies-to-lovers vibe. He's a stubborn, rude, degrading 😜, alpha who needs a bit of a reality check. I loooove two omega books, but I am a bit nervous to see how he handles a second one when he's so mean to his current one. 😅 We all love the baddest of boys though, I can't wait to see him redeem himself. Yes, I ate this up!!
It is a novella, prequel to Knot That Easy, an MC dark omegaverse romance. It is hot and spicy, has good character development (for a short snack) and very entertaining.
Nova catches her boyfriend in a compromising position with her mom, just after being fired and having her vehicle trashed by her boss' wife.
She 'sort of' hijacks the van of Mall Bandits (Santa and 2 Elves), who turns out to be her scent matches and Alphas. They kidnap her, hides out in a deserted cabin and gets snowed in.
They all fight the biological urges (as scent matches) but not all succeeds.
Nova is fierce and bratty, not like any other Omega, she never wanted to be part of a pack or have Alphas of her own. She hates being controlled.
Ian is a cinnamon roll, Will is slightly more reserved and Nick is the dark asshole who cannot himself but rile her up. They have all experienced some form of hurt and pain in their life, so all of them are reluctant to just give in.
That provides for a lot of banyer and fighting, but also a lot of spice.
It ends on a slight cliff hanger so I can actually not wait to read the rest of the story!

Worth the wait!
I finally sat down to read this in preparation for Knot That Easy! And omg Alisha seriously has such a talent for writing some amazing FMC's
Nova is sass and snark and a take-no-shits kind of omega and I love her for it!
This was a quick 5 hour read to set up the full length novel coming out in a few days and I'm so excited!
Her scent matches are an interesting bunch that's for sure.
Undercover as a mall Santa and his elves in order to rob the stores?! Lol genius.
Ian is the adorable golden retriever little brother of the pack and he is smitten from the word go.
Will is our red haired middle brother who is the quiet reluctant one who intends to fight his draw to their omega.
And Nick is the oldest and a total jerk/grump who is 100% AGAINST having an omega right now, scent matched or not!
The banter and one liners between Nova and him are comedic gold!
He's determined to treat her like crap and she's determined to dish it all right back!
She's no one's pushover and I LOVE IT!

This is a short and spicy prequel with Nova nor the alphas wanting a pack but throw in scent matches, forced proximity and some pretty hot tension and the sparks begin to fly. Nova is stubborn and snarky and from her reaction to Trip in chapter one I knew I was going to like her. Ian is a darling and I liked the dynamic between him and Nova, and the snowball fight with Will was one of my favourite parts. Nick is a whole other thing; I am reserving judgement until I find out more about that backstory which was teased by both him and his brothers, and I'm intrigued to see where this series is going to go after that little bombshell at the end!

Surprisingly Fun
This is definitely a dark omegaverse/romance, but it is handled in an almost delicate manner, so it was easy to get behind the FMC falling for the questionable MMCs. There was enough back and forth, ups and downs, plus the heavy dose of scent matches to go along with it, and it mixed up and resulted in a believable character arc and relationship development. I’m glad this fun little present wasn’t wrapped up in a completely tidy little bow; it wouldn’t have worked for this story, plus…more importantly…it means I get to have more of the story in another book, and I really am looking forward to reading that. These characters need more time with each other if they are going to have a chance at a long-lasting, believable, HEA. So I’m very glad the author didn’t try to rush and cram it all in one book!

I absolutely love Alisha’s writing. Her books are some of my absolute favorite and this book was another hit! It was so good. I loved the darker side to this short OV story. I was intrigued from beginning to end and honestly I want more lol.
I loved Nova and the way she doesn’t just take things. She is such a strong character. I absolutely loved her. Her alpha men I loved and hated at the same time lol. The spice was a plus! It was hot and heavy lol. I loved every minute of the book.
Overall, I loved this short story! I am so sad that it ended and can’t wait for more. If left me wanting so much more! I’m so excited to see what comes next! Highly recommend this holiday short story!

Oh my gosh! Alisha, you're killing me with these teaser novels! I need the rest of the book! Holy heck this book was everything I needed this holiday season! Ian is this giant teddy bear, Will is a mix between teddy bear and Alpha and Nick is straight alpha A-hole, but you find out a small glimpse of why he is the way he is. This book has spice galore but not in a cringe way. Alisha writes it perfectly. Nova is sassy as she is strong, and know they say curiosity k!Lls the cat but in Nova's case curiosity gets her k!dnapPed 🤣🤣 She has been through alot and I feel like where only scratched the surface with all the characters and I for one can't wait for the full length novel! ❤️❤️❤️

I’m new to Alisha’s omegaverses and this book was absolute perfection for my first!
Nova is a sassy omega who doesn’t take shit from the guys. I liked how each of the guys have completely different personalities. Ian is the golden retriever of the three, he’s sweet and caring. Nick is a total a** and hates Nova and his connection towards her. Will is somewhere in the middle of them.
I loved the plot so much and the mystery of who Nick and his brothers are and their past and what the future holds for the four of them. It is oh so spicy! I can’t wait for what the next book holds for them!

Once AGAIN Alisha Williams did not disappoint! This books was somehow sweet, spicy, AND hot as hell! My only complaint is that I have to wait for their next book!! No cliff hangers though!
After walking in on her mom and her boyfriend (spoiler.. they weren’t watching a movie)…. Nova runs off to the mall where she ends up getting kidnapped by Santa and his 2 elves!

I'm new to Alisha and her books but have not been disappointed.
Our FMC starts the book with hit after hit of "bad luck" - she quickly decides to see what she can do on her own and ends up stumbling upon three incredibly hot Alphas, who also happen to be robbing the mall, with the van she has tried to steal.
Add in the fact that they're scent matches, and this Christmas just got really interesting.

A very smutty Christmas
Loved this and definitely want more Nova and the guys. A chance meeting leads to so much more when they’re snowed in and Nova goes into heat.
I love a good Omegaverse tale and thoroughly enjoyed this seasonal story of Santa and his elves gone bad.
Nova is no typical omega, definitely not submissive, having an abundance of snark, being independent not wanting a pack.
Love how she interacts with the guys, especially nasty Nick, looking forward to getting the full story, this novella has definitely whetted my appetite for more.
