After a near-death situation forced her hand, Honey made the heartbreaking decision to walk away from Jew. She loved him deeply, but his lies shattered her trust and left scars she wasn’t sure could ever heal. For Honey, the damage was done, and there was no going back.
But Jew isn’t ready to let go. Faced with the aftermath of his deception, he’s willing to move heaven and earth to prove he’s a changed man. Forgiveness might seem out of reach, but Jew won’t stop until he gets Honey back in his life.
As bonds break and loyalty is pushed to its limits, Jew finds himself grappling with the reality that some mistakes can’t be undone. In this explosive finale, discover whether love can truly conquer all—or if Jew’s actions will leave him with nothing but regret.
If you're a fan of African American romance packed with drama, passion, and redemption, you won’t want to miss "Just Don’t Embarrass Me 2" by Bonnie Blanco.
A new male character is introduced around the 75% mark of the book and Honey marries him. She literally just met the man and marries him. We, the readers, don't know shit about this man except he's a famous barber and we're supposed to be satisfied with her marrying him. There shouldn't have been a 2nd book, in my opinion. It was a waste of time. We knew what Jew did wasn't redeemable, so there was no way in hell Honey was taking him back. All the unnecessary delulu drama from Dallas was just a filler to have a second book. So disappointed.

I had expected more and was disappointed with the ending . All these men she dated in short time span . Making her get married within 5months . Honey never really found herself and gave herself time to heal . The first book was great. This one it seems it just stuff thrown together
Let me just say that Honey was not playing with Jews and stood tall on business.
Now she gave him a paw with the first message up he did and then she allowed him another go, to only do as she asked him not to do and that’s no to EMBARRASS her, but he does the opposite. He almost cause her to lose her life because by the hand of the other woman along with playing with 2 women heart! Well Karma really played her part in it all. Not only did he hide another woman from Honey, that other woman Kay had ended up pregnant. Despite trying to terminate her pregnancy she still ended up having the baby for him to raise and Honey continued to stand on business and was not allowing him to have access to her heart again.
We not going to even talk about that Dallas. He just could accept that “L” and tried his best end up with that “W” and at the end he still doesn’t get the woman but ended up six feet under. Leaving his kids and baby mama Tiara who strangely that he loved her but we all see who has his heart.
As for Tab and Dinero, I’m so happy that they are working on them! Sad it had to take her going out with Randy for him to see he really loved her and wanted his family! Don’t get me wrong I understood why he did what he did but to be one way and then another when in his feeling didn’t give him the right to play with her heart and give out false hope.
Let’s talk about Deja and Chief! All I can say about that is I love them! For a person of little words to find love is a blessing and was Chief. For a person past to not hinder their future is blessing as well and that was Deja. Chief seen something in Deja and allowed that to over power anything negative!
At the end Honey did end up getting her happily ever after with Marco who stood on business when it came to her! She deserves it all!
Overall Honey is like most of us women today who just don’t want to be EMBARRASSED!!
Spoiler Alert Spoiler Alert Jew started off good in the first book but the way everyone was talking I just knew he had a wife. I was wrong, but close. When the whole truth came out I was wondering how the author would redeem him; I didn’t see how it could happen. Truth be told, he was just as crazy as Kayleigh. He really thought killing his seed would make Honey come back to him. Not to mention he’s a street dude and ran to the police on Kay and then tried to force an abortion on her. I’m glad that baby survived so every day he has to see what he tried to do. I’m so thankful that the author didn’t try to redeem him and force the relationship. I usually get upset when a book doesn’t have a HEA ending but Honey deserved so much better and she found that in Marco. Cold hearted Chief ended up being the favorite; the man against love seemed to be the only one loving his woman properly. I’m glad Tab got her happy ending because Dinero was about to be left behind. I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next.
DNF @ 48. Book one was great, book two was pathetic. I had real issues with this storyline.
•Honey’s character is pathetic. A chick breaks in and pulls a guy on her and Honey wants to have a sit down with her? Girl, get TF. She has two stalker ex’s but no security? And they’re able to pull up at her place of business whenever? Also, Honey having a conversation with Jew’s parents was dumb AF. Honey is a real estate agent, move the fuck on, literally. GIRL STAND UP
•Tiana & Jason’s “plot twist” was unfucking needed
•Jew just dumb and where was his karma? (I read spoilers)
•Kayleigh- I get she’s hurt but move on
There was no likeable character. Completely over it
Bonnie Blanco this was a good series. It shows what can happen when you're not honest. In my opinion, Jewels was somewhat of a mess. He didn't think his reasoning through. I also think he thought he would be able to handle all that came with his decisions. Hurt people hurt people. Kay was messed up. I truly understand how she felt but it could have been handled better. Deja and Chief found such a sweet spot. Dinero finally found his mind. Tab was able to have all her dreams. This crew went through so much growth that it shows in their life. Honey finally found her peace. Well deserved for her. Marco was the man!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗
I will say that I did not expect that ending. I wish Honey and Jew could have made it work but I understand her not being able to get past what he did because after asking him not to embarrass her that is exactly what he did. I think she cares for Marco but I think she rushed into that marriage but hopefully it works and it’s full of love and happiness. I loved Chief and Deja love story. I hope Jew will one day find that perfectly imperfect person for him that will also love his son and I hope what he went through taught him a very valuable lesson.
Books took me thru loops. Never expected a happy ending. Love reading update on Tab and Dinero Rich and Remedy. Love growth of Deja, Some folks just cannot grow up. If anyone tells me that they have a crazy girl my response: what did a dude do to get her acting that way.Bonnie did that really love book. Still would say good even if turned out different.it has to be good to stir emotions
I know I'm not the only one who was waiting in part 2 of this book I'm very disappointed 😔 the way
I'm very disappointed 😔 in this finale the way Honey stood on business with jew after finding out about kay but then married a man she just met wowww it just didn't match part 1 I'm honestly disappointed & disgusted with part 2 smfh.
Y'all have to get this series! I love you Bonnie you never disappoint me! I knew this book was going to be awesome just by reading the title! Yes people this was a grand read for me! Highly recommend it you will not be disappointed. And it has a real unexpected ending!
I would have liked for Jew and Honey to have gotten back together. However, sometimes the damage can be too much to recover from when you break a person’s heart. Fellas just don’t listen when we tell them what we expect and won’t tolerate. Sad Jew had to learn the hard way but it is what it is. Good read
Great ending to a great story! What started out as a story I didn’t know how would end, wrapped up well and for that I’m thankful that in the end everyone got what they deserved. I think the characters really learned from their choices as well. If you read the first one you have to finish it!
Ohhhhh my gosh! The twists and turns man. Jew got like 9 lives, I swear. It was so good to see love blossom between all the couples and to see Karma parading around the snakes. Honey got her happy ending and I’m so happy for her. Loved Dinero, Tab, Chief, and Deja’s love stories as well. Also, Kayleigh was the epitome of a woman scorned. Sheesh. Great book
First off, I loved the story. When a woman gives you just one thing not to do and you do it twice. You deserve to feel that pain of not being in her life. Like my title says I can truly relate to this 2 book series because its exactly how I am when I come to relationships.
I loved this series however Jew need his own book where he find love too. I thought Honey would take him back but she didn’t. Jew needs his own book it can be a standalone idc I fell in love with that character and wish things could have turned out different for him.
"Just Don't Embarrass Me 2" was excellent! I never felt sorry for Jew...until I did. Jew got his due because of his own actions with his own twisted motives. Honey did the right thing by stepping away and never looking back!
Great read! I’m so glad everyone got their happily ever after except the really trifling ones. I read this book in 24 hours, I couldn’t put it down and I finished book one the same day I started reading this one. It kept me entertained, definitely a page-turner.
After being done wrong by 2 men I just found it so unbelievable for her to meet Marco (after saying she was through with men at that point) and marry him in 5 months. Even though Jew did her dirty I really felt he really loved her.
