Jess has always been in love with one woman even when Megan walked out on him. As the years passed he learned to go on with his life, and since dating his neighbor he’s never felt more alive. Then comes the day when a car arrives and Megan steps out with her young son in tow. Jess suddenly finds himself torn between the love he once had and the life he leads now.
Megan doesn’t know who else to go to when her husband’s drunken beatings move from her to her son. In fear that her husband will find her at a friend or relatives, Megan turns to the only other person she knows she can trust. In a town where she grew up, with the man she still loves so desperately, Megan must come to terms with their emotional past or find herself leaving him once again.
So I read this book in spite of all the grammatical errors. It was a good story until you read chapter 16 and it said epilogue the end, problem there is, there isn't an end or an epilogue. It just ends. That sucks and the author and the publishing company should be ashamed.

I didn't rate this very high. All was good until the end, or lack of one. It was like the last chapter was missing and none of the questions in the book were answered. Most books like this have a second book you can purchase to find your ending. Because of this experience I have started reading reviews on all the books and authors before I start reading. Amazon.com is a good place to find reviews on anything you are interested in. Wish I would have checked out the reviews before reading the book. I hate Cliffhangers!
