Jackal: Destiny's Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter Book 3

Rate this book
Opposites attract. But is attraction enough?

Jackal’s been a nomad for years, but proud to call himself part of Destiny’s Enforcers. When his long-time friend and president of the Atlanta chapter was assassinated, he immediately goes to help find who did it and support the club. Falling for someone was the last thing on his mind.

Shivana finds herself in the right place at the wrong time when she goes to visit her old friend. After a harrowing ordeal and having to jump into action to save her friend’s man once they discovered she was a doctor, she decided to stick around a while longer. The idea of a new state and a new start excites her. Not to mention, she has her eye on one of the bikers at the clubhouse.

Jackal can’t help the undeniable attraction to Shivana but being so much older than her and just a roughneck biker, he believes she’s better off leaving town and tries to keep her at arm’s length. But Shivana is ready to start fresh, and she doesn’t see what a little fun with the older, and gorgeous biker, would hurt.

When a new revelation about who may have killed the president come to light, tensions run high and the future of the club, and its members, is at stake. He will do anything to keep her safe, but he can’t seem to resist the young doctor. But can she really be with him, and part of this dangerous life?

Jackal, book three in Destiny’s Enforcers MC Atlanta Chapter, is an angsty and spicy contemporary romance with plenty of action, forced proximity, age gap, a possessive hero, and a heroine who is smart and sassy. Download today and get ready to fall for Shiv and Jackal.

Welcome to Destiny’s Enforcers MC where the men are morally grey, accidental anti-heroes, committed to the club, and fall hard for the women who cross their paths and usually bring a little chaos with them.

The way I waited for Jackal by April D Berry, and continuously checked and rechecked the release date for this book. I could not wait to get my hands on it. The wait was so worth it because I gobbled this book up fast. I couldn't put it down.

Shivana is amazing, perfect, wonderful, and in my book can do no wrong. Also, Jackal? *swoon* This man!

“You seem nervous. I can stop, Lil Bird.” “No!” I blurted.  He chuckled. “Can I get an equally enthusiastic ‘yes I want to do this?’” “Yes! Hell yes!” - Jackal by April D Berry

We love an enthusiastic consent king!!!!!

Now I need Hawk! *gimme hands*

REVIEW:
Jackal is the third book in the Destiny's Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter that continues the relationship between Jackal & Shivana from the second book. Jackal had been a nomad for years when after the assassination of his long-time friend and president of the Destiny's Enforcers MC Atlanta chapter becomes the new Enforcer. Shivana is visiting her friend Lacy when she finds her self involved in MC business that need her professional knowledge as a doctor. With an age gap and an instant attraction from the beginning both Shivana and Jackal decide that they would give into the feelings they are both starting to feel for each other. When Jackal finally decides to tell Shivana how he feels about her and telling her his real name became an emotional moment for Shivana since she was also having feelings for him too. The moment that Shivana finally tells Jackal that she loved him was an emotional turning point for them both as they both understood that they trusted each other enough that no matter what happened they were doing everything to protect each other and those they love.

There is still the danger of the traitor Butch coming after the MC but that doesn't stop Jackal from making sure that Shivana knows that she is his to touch, protect and love. It was such a surprising moment when everyone in the club gathered together for Jackal to present Shivana her own property patch with the clubs name and her road name "Lil Bird" as this meant that Jackal was all in for their relationship to work for the long haul. April D Berry delivers an exciting continuation to Destiny's Enforces MC story with Jackal and Shivana falling in love even though they are from different backgrounds. It was great to finally have Butch caught though it doesn't solved the mystery on Raven's murder but I'm looking forward to Hawk's love story next to explain that.

JACKAL is the third instalment in April D Berry’s contemporary, adult DESTINY’S ENFORCERS MC: ATLANTA erotic, MC romance series. This is forty-seven year old nomad turned MC enforcer Jacob aka Jackal, and thirty year old Dr. Shivana Raja’s story line. JACKAL can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion as there is an ongoing premise throughout.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Shivana and Jackal) JACKAL follows in the wake of a betrayal by one of their own. Jacob aka Jackal is a nomad but the recent death of the club’s enforcer finds Jackal on the precipice of becoming a full-fledged member of the Destiny’s Enforcers MC, and the possibility of claiming the woman with whom he will fall in love. Dr. Shivana Raja hasn’t left the compound since her rescue , a rescue that has made Shivana an honorary member of the ol’ ladies club but her attraction to Jackal comes with a caveat-Jackal believes he will never settle down, and Shivana proposes a friends with benefits relationship until he is gone . As the club continues to search for the man who betrayed family and friends, the planning of a wedding takes center stage as the MC prepare to hunt down the killer of one of their own.

The relationship between Jackal and Shivana is one of immediate attraction but Jackal doesn’t expect to put down roots until an offer from the MC forces Jackal to make a decision about his future. Shivana is determined to prove she is worthy of Jackal’s friendship and love, only to realize Jackal may have fallen first. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of familiar and energetic secondary and supporting characters including the previous story lines couples, and members of the Destiny’s Enforcers MC, as well as the return of Mama Hen, and Bratva member Nikolai Petrov Jr. Once again, the requisite evil has many faces.

JACKAL is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, jealousy and madness, acceptance and love. The premise is gritty and dramatic; the romance is limited but seductive; the characters are charismatic and determined.

Oh how I love a biker romance and this series by April D Berry has not disappointed!! This is the third book in the Destiny’s Enforcers MC series and have all been 5 star reads for me!

Following Jakal and Shivana in this installment, I have to say, I fell hard for their story. Jakal not setting roots anywhere until his friend Raven was assassinated. Shivana came to visit her friend Lacy and decided she didn’t want to go back home, they she wanted to settle near Lacy, as well as setting her eyes on Jackal.

I loved the chemistry and dynamics between Jackal and Shivana. Her sassy, feisty attitude and their banter had me kicking my feet. The spice was hot and I loved how it was paced perfectly and didn’t overshadow the plot. This story was that of betrayal and vengeance and it kept me totally immersed.

I really enjoy this author’s style of writing. Has a fantastic way of connecting you to the characters and keeping you captivated until the very end. Have to say, she will be one I have on auto download for sure!

I loved this so much!
I was so excited for this latest addition to the series and couldn’t wait to dive back into this world. It did not disappoint!
Shivana is a badass legend and Jackal was a damn fine book boyfriend.
I loved seeing more of this family and where the others are at as time passes. Their relationships and dynamics always make me smile.
I really enjoyed watching their relationship unfold while at the same time having this overarching storyline with so many pieces.
I can’t wait for more. More of the group and more of the story in general.
I adore this series so highly recommend.

Third book in the Destinys Enforceres Series. In order to know what is really happening be sure to read all of the books. Jackal was a nomad for the club until the Prez is killed and the new Prez asks him to step up.
Shiv flew in from Florida to see her friend and things go completely wrong. After spending time in the clubhouse she grows to like it. But what she really likes is Jackal. She wants a Daddy biker. And Jackel is perfect.
He doesn’t want anything permanent but she doesn’t give up.
If you like age gap, bikers, bratty, he falls first
Be sure to pick up this book. Jackal by April D Berry
You won’t regret it!

I am so freaking excited that other people can now experience the amazing news that is Shiv and Jackal.
This series has some darker elements and serious grit but no skimping on the badass FMC's that will tell off the men when they are being dumb and over controlling.
This MC romance series has new couples to read about in each book but and underlying storyline that connects them all so you will want to start from the beginning and not miss out. All three books are available in Kindle Unlimited today!
I cannot wait to see what comes next for the Destiny's Enforcers MC

Unlikley Duo

Shivana and Jackal are two polar opposites. Instantly there was a physical connection between the two of them and they fought it for as long as they could. When they both figured out it was worth pursuing, it was game on instantly and they never looked back. Navigating tracking down and being tracked by a previous MC member, figuring out a career plan, all while trying to understand their own relationship. Enjoyed this journey!

Ok let me just say I absolutely love Jackal and Shivana!! These 2 are so different but are so perfect for each other. This is a great story of finding love and the emotions that go along with it. Shiv made me laugh with her “don’t test me” attitude and Jackal, well come on he’s a biker with long hair, tats, and. Teddy bear. I’m so glad he found someone and Shiv got her biker daddy 😉

I absolutely love this series. You definitely need to read Falcon & Eagle before this one. I love a good age gap & forced proximity story. Jackal is tough but for the right woman he is putty in her hands. Who doesn’t want a strong protector who also can use a sultry voice at the right time. I had goose bumps towards the end but it was so worth it. Can’t wait for book 4 Hawk :-)

Another one falls!

These swoony MC alphas and the action that is drawn to them is a fantastic read. Jackal: Destiny’s Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter Book 3 is no exception. If you enjoy MC romance, you really don’t want to miss this one. And if you haven’t read this series yet? Go grab your copy of Falcon and binge away.

Each one is better

The drama, the ongoing plot, the spicy and the comedy! Love it all! Can't wait for the next one! There is a great carry through from one book to the next and if you picked one up you had enough detail to get through, but would be better served reading in order.

I continue to enjoy this book series. I really love Shivana's character and how smitten she and Jackal are with one another. The spice is spicing, too.

I received a gifted copy. This review is honest and voluntary.

I couldn’t stand the FMC

She was insufferable. The over all story was fun and entertaining but holy hell she needed to listen to the people around her. I eventually DNFd it because of that. I’ll keep reading the series though.

Jackal: Destiny's Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter Book 3
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice🌶🌶🌶
Jackal was not one to make a place permanent until Raven was killed. He was a nomad who thought he would never settle, until he saw Shivana. and then he got patched in and devoted his life to the local MC.
Shivana makes the trip to see her best friend Lacy. Shivana decides she doesn't want to go home to her parents and decides to make roots by Lacy. Deciding that she wants Jackal to be her bike daddy, she sets things in motion.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great HEA, MC romance with some heat and suspense to it!

This book is definitely worth the read! The third book in the series, and it's only getting better! While these are standalone books, I highly recommend reading books one and two, Falcon and Eagle to set the stage for the characters. April Berry knows what she is doing with these books. The characters are top notch and the books are engaging and something you don't want to put down!
