I bought this book because as a Formula girl, I saw the title and absolutely couldn’t not buy it. I finished it faster than I’ve ever finished a book because I could not put it down. It was fast paced which helped get me out of a longggg reading slump. Sophie and Beck’s story is so perfect and cute. Beck is everything you’d want in a book boyfriend. This definitely became one of my favorites on my shelf. I absolutely cannot wait for the second book and to see Sophie and Beck’s story continue!!

I LOVED this book! The writing was so fresh and easy to read. ML Miller is fantastic at writing the race scenes, giving a sense of suspense while telling you everything that is happening on the track without loosing the you in the details. I have never followed F1 before reading this book but she caught me right up to speed! The romance between Beck and Sophie is 10/10 I loved their character development and so many feet kicking moments that I LIVED for. I loved every moment of this book!

This book was so cute and fun!! It was so cheerful and the couple had such good chemistry it never failed to put me in a good mood when i picked it up. I believe this is the author’s debut novel, and i do think that was noticeable in the writing style, but it didn’t take away the enjoyment! What took this down in the rating a bit was that it felt like there was no real source of conflict until about 70-80% of the way through the book, which was okay because the story was super fun to read and I didn’t realize how much a happy cheery romance book would positively impact me right now so it was super super great. Also, i read this during one of the worst flare ups I’ve ever had, so it was the perfect story to have as a form of escapism and definitely helped to power through it quickly. I saw that there’s a sequel out and i would definitely consider continuing the series because I loved the friendship dynamic, plus this made me motivated to watch the F1 movie after I had already decided against it.

Be still my beating heart. Ok, I didn’t know how badly I needed this book, until I read it. Oh my goodness, where to begin.
I’ll start with the Formula 1 racing component. I have two things to say about this - Formula Love is for the die-hard F1 fans AND it is for the new/want to be new F1 fans. Let me explain. This book starts over F1’s summer break (if you’re an F1 fan, you knew that happen; if you’re new to F1, hey, you learn something new!). Our FMC, Sophie, meets a enigmatic and handsome Formula 1 driver, and they start falling for one another.
Part of dating a Formula 1 driver, is learning about the sport and attending races. Sophie has next to no knowledge about F1, so throughout the book, which takes place over the second half of the season, she learns all about it. For readers who are new to Formula 1, or have never watched a race in their life, it’s a great way to learn about the sport, in a low pressure way. The positions of the team are explained, the structure of the season is explained, and the reader’s knowledge grows with Sophie’s.
However, for our seasoned F1 fans, it feels like a comforting blanket. It’s cozy and nice to just exist in the world, where the technical knowledge of the author demonstrates that she’s a huge fan of the sport. Watching the races with Sophie gave me the same feelings I get when I watch a race. The excitement, the stress, the tension, the giggles from the team radios - it’s all in this book. Miller truly has a fantastic knowledge of the sport, and it is conveyed perfectly. SHE CREATED AN ENTIRE 10-TEAM, 20-DRIVER grid! The drivers have personalities, she goes through the point system, all in this factionalized version of the world! Truly astounding.
Ok, but Hollie, what about the love story? UGH, OMG, SOPHIE AND BECK ARE GOALS. A simperingly sweet love story, that Taylor Swift would be proud of. Beck is, obviously, gorgeous, sexy, but also down-to-earth, and such a family guy. His younger siblings are in the story, and they are the absolute sweetest. Sophie and her widower father have a fantastic relationship, and Sophie is just pulling herself back up by the bootstraps, after a humiliating ex-boyfriend issue (I don’t want to spoil it, but her ex sucks). Sophie and Beck live a lifestyle not a lot of people can relate to, however, Miller has made them human, accessible, and relatable.
Along the way, we’re introduced to Sophie & Beck’s friends, and fall just as madly in love with them, as we do Soph & Beck.
I really can’t recommend this book enough. It is amazing. If you are a fan of F1 (or, you need a safe and low pressure way to learn about the sport!), and you like romance books, this book is it!

I will admit to being a bit apprehensive about this book at first because I had no knowledge of Formula 1 or the racing world/ However, Miller does an incredible job at showing the details needed to envision the scenes. This was an easy read that still effectively showcased the characters' development and vulnerability. I also liked the spicier aspects of this book which added to the story instead of overwhelming me.

Beck is a gem! A delightful beach read for any fan of F1 racing. Author did a great job on her knowledge of the Formula One sport and she perfectly describes the world as a ‘traveling circus’. Love that term! Great read, not to be missed!

Really sweet story, the majority of it is sweet and lovey, you do feel like you’re waiting for the shoe to drop the whole time and when it does, it’s not that bad :)

I really want to like this book as I’m a big fan of romance books and I love Formula 1. Sadly this books pacing was off and just felt like I was reading something written by somebody on an online forum or those apps where aspiring authors post their stories in hope someone will think it’s good enough for publishing. This book just wasn’t it for me and I disappointingly had to give up and DNF this book by page 76. It has potential but the execution didn’t stand up well enough.

This is a great story. My favorite part was the characters with their individual personalities and then how they all interacted with each other. I loved the romance and there was a perfect amount of spice. Even with no prior knowledge of F1 racing the author perfectly painted a picture of what a race looks like with feels and sounds! I hope there’s a sequel!

I received an ARC for Young with Benefits. Im really glad I went to see if their was more than one book.
This is Sophia and Beck's story..
They meat and have a instant connection. They were inseparable. I love this look into the racing world. I loved them together.
I really enjoyed this book.

I loved this book!! The thrill of racing, and the romance between Beck and Sophie, was captivating. I enjoyed learning about the influencer lifestyle. I seriously couldn't put this book down. I am looking forward to more stories by ML Miller!! Well done!

I am apart of the drag racing community and circle track has never been my thing- but I know this is not circle track. Similar concepts.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have shelved others with similar themes. The characters were well developed, and the plot was great!
The only part I did not enjoy was the late act- I would have loved to see it sooner :).
