The messiness is right in the room. every time you think you've found out one thing, something else comes out. The amount of circles, triangles, and squares in these relationships had me getting whiplash. Definitely gotta read book 2.

Whewww, this book was every bit of MESSY and I loved it! Drama, twists, and scandal on every page. I knew I was in for a ride the moment this pastor started dipping and diving into anything, and anybody and their beds. I don’t know what kind of charm he had, but he was giving Playa from the Himalayas (Jerome) energy. He was outsideeeeee! A hot mess who needed help and so did everyone in his reach. Nobody knew how to STAND UP and CLINK CLINK (Madea voice)! Quick, chaotic, and entertaining from start to finish!

The storyline was messy. It’s unfortunate how some unhealed childhood traumas show up in adulthood, which is evident in the Bishop who has an addiction that leads him into a lifestyle that he can’t seem to get away from. There’s an ongoing investigation to solve the mystery of who killed the Bishop’s wife. Is it the Bishop himself with all his secrets, the envious ex-wife, the Bishop’s son who was seen running from the scene, the wife’s best friend, the Bishop’s righthand man, the wife’s fling, the Bishop’s secret lover? So many suspects, so many motives! The detective handling the case is on a wild ride and may find herself falling in the Bishop’s trap. Such a quick, yet entertaining read. There are some typos and repetition, but if you can push through that, you should be entertained.

Let’s get into it!! Everyone in this book needs Jesus because what is happening? Anthony Fuller did experience childhood trauma that never left him.

He literally wants to seduce or be seduce by anybody with working parts. As I was reading, I thought I know this man can’t be this attractive to everybody.

Tell me why, Detective Cash was really fighting the urge to be in Fuller’s world lol. He’s literally the biggest whore. Also, when Myron made his confession I wasn’t surprised. Best friend or not I’m not doing none of that.

Someone please explain to me why Amber was so indignant. She was married too. Fuller did groom her but damn girl. Stand up!!! Why could she accept Fuller’s sexuality but not her husband’s? What’s the difference between the two men?

Now as for Kniki Fuller-Day, she should really be ashamed of her behavior. I understand status and money but why pine for a man that dogs you out every chance he gets? As soon as Chanel was dead, here she comes. Where is her self respect?

Everyone has a 🤫 secret. I will say the ending threw me for a loop. These people couldn’t even trust the people closest to them. I’m not sure what Mikah Reign has in store but it’s definitely going to be crazy.

Page Turner!!

So I have to be honest I was NOT ready for this here! This was a page turner from the beginning! The secrets , lies and betrayal was like no other!

Now see this is why I stopped going to church because it can be messy. I go to hear the word and the choir not whispers of who talking, kissing or sleeping with lol!!

Bishop Fuller was just full of secret and had a sexual appetite like no other. The fact he goes through withdrawals and cold sweats had me smh!!!

Chanel (Wayne) just wanted to be accepted and once he was he was not going to let that go! Now I do feel that him and D-Lite (Daniel/Danny) could’ve talk about him sleeping work Bishop, however Chanel was hurt!

Then the obsession of he’s best friend Myron. He I feel he had numerous times and ways to express his true feelings, not after the fatal accident of Chanel!

Let’s discuss the ex-wife. She was overall a hot mess and EXTRA - LOL!! But she loved her some Bishop Fuller!

With all that, I was truly lost for words to find out who really unlived Chanel. Honestly would have never thought. This was my first read from this author and I plan to read more

Bishop Fuller was for the skreets and everyone he was with too!!!…He had more than power in his tongue because that thang thang had both women and men going insane!!!…D-Lite even had to change his mind about how to destroy ole Bishop Fuller!!!…
The poor Detective Cash got away by skin of her teeth because Bishop was breaking her walls down too!!!…
I can not wait for Part 2 to drop!!!…

Lawd, the Bishop and his secrets! Who is responsible for the ending of his wife’s (Chanel) life. Secrets are out and Chanel is a man, let the foolery unfold!! Baby, the people are in mourning for more reasons than one lol! THIS WAS A WILD RIDE!! Bishop had these men & women on LOCK! When you think it can’t get any crazier, it does!
Karma comes when you least expect it & you never know who knows who so you have to be careful in the way you wrong people and then decide to go on about your life.

This book had me on the edge of my seat ! A crooked, down low, disgusting, holier than thou pastor, a jealous friend, a person just trying to survive…the twist and turns in this book was TEW MUCH. At first you think you know who’s the killer, then you start to find out people’s secret, and then everyone seems to be the killer. First time reading from this author and I enjoyed it! It grabs your attention from the very beginning and it keeps your attention til the end.

What the hell did I just read? Oh my goodness this book was all gas and go from the beginning so many twist and turns and revelations back to back I almost couldn’t keep up. I’m surprised there’s a part 2 cause hunny this book was well thought out and I thought we finally solved the case.
