One of the best introductions that covers pretty much everything you need to know about witchcraft. A gift from my dad and he done good. Some excellent spells and amazing information in this one.
As a graphic designer, this book is beautiful! So much time and thought was put into the layout of every page. As someone that knows nothing about witchcraft, this was a great introduction full of information. The author slowly explains all the different aspects without overwhelming the reader or making you feel dumb for not knowing.
Logical setup, easy to follow. Good information without being overwhelming. Artwork and aesthetic/colors were nicely done. Great coffee table book for gathering information or getting ideas.

I originally picked it up because of how beautiful it looked.
Contains basic stuff but I appreciate its all-encompassing coverage of topics. It’s a good introduction to all the different practices if you know absolutely nothing about witchcraft. I commend it on its modern, practical advice, as well as on its determination to promote ethical practices that respect fellow humans and cultures.
Especially towards the end I got really weary of it. I felt like I was reading the same sentence over and over again (which I kind of was, it gets so repetitive).
I remember the good old days when books about "witchcraft" used to be about actual practices, ie. Wicca or Satanism.
This book reads like a "witchcraft for dummies" book and holds no historical value with respect to how an ACTUAL practicing witch may exist in today's world.
It's a coffee table book AT BEST... a waste of time at worst.
Yes, the book is pretty, but the information is shallow and purposeless. This reminds me of the Etsy listing in which you can buy a spell to annoy your boss.
3.5 stars. Beautifully designed and easily accessible. I assume that practicing witches will find this basic and watered down. I would have appreciated a bit more historical context as well as more about how today's practicing witches gather and observe. But this is a good starting point for further research or consideration of many different areas of witchcraft, intuition, and the ability to recognize and tap into everyday magic around us. If you are into crystals, candles, and/or ephemera, you'll like the author's style.
This is laid out and designed well, very approachable, very responsible and informative. It has just a little bit of everything from crystals to manifesting, to tarot and more.
