Rate this book
When the prince of Avalora is abducted, his loyal attendant, Lumo, embarks on a daring quest to bring him home.

Along the way, he finds unexpected allies—but also discovers that not everyone is who they seem. As whispers of a dark conspiracy spread across the kingdom, Lumo realizes the rescue mission is only part of a much larger puzzle. Secrets buried for centuries begin to unravel, and with every step, he inches closer to the heart of a dangerous truth.

In a world where loyalties are tested and nothing is as it seems, can Lumo stay true to his mission—or will the path ahead demand more than he can give?

Twists abound in this gripping opening to a multi-part saga, where trust is hard-won, betrayal lurks in the shadows, and one boy’s determination might reshape the future of Avalora forever.

This book. This. Book. Please read it.

If you like harry potter, percy jackson and books with a similar vibe, you are going to absolutely adore this book.

It had
●friendship
●fantasy elements
●a journey
●politics
●twists and turns
●reveals
●hidden identities
●monsters
●cult
●lots of mystery and
●just a hint towards what i am hoping will develop into a romantic relationship.

I might end up liking this series more than Percy jackson series if it continues with similar pace.

This is a young adult fantasy book about a boy named Lumo who's friends with the prince of the kingdom, Oliver. Lumo realizes that there's something unusual going on in the kingdom and we are going to follow Lumo going through problems and developing really good friendships with some really interesting people.

This book is appropriate for all ages. I feel like a 13 year old and a 40 year old can both end up loving and enjoying this book.

I am so desperately waiting for book 2.

I would really like to thank the author for giving me a copy of this book and a chance to read such an amazing story.
