Bold bright graphics, a simple clean design, engaging rhyming text that appeals to young kids, and big pop-ups on each spread; this is the appeal of the Snappy series. Children will learn to count from one all the way up to the ten sharp teeth of the snapping little crocodile. What better way to learn than with this happy, snappy pop-up!
What a great book to teach number fluency to children. My Kindergarteners loved this book! It offers so many opportunities to count and have fun doing so.
"Whale is chasing sea horses, having lots of trouble. Count the FIVE that duck and dive - bubble, bubble, bubble!" This is a cute, brief pop-up book that both my 2-year-old and 5-year-old enjoyed.
Another in the Snappy pop-up series. The pictures in this series are always colorful and vivid so they capture kids attention. Playful rhymes lead the way through a series of counting chuckles, from the little fish trapped in a pelican's enormous beak to all ten of the crocodile's sharp teeth. A solid and fun counting book though, as with all pop-ups, it may not be around for many readings.
