This book tore me in two. I’m so upset with Reaper I just can’t. Delly did everything he’s asked her but he still won’t take off his mask even after the night that they spent together.. but he showed Cora his face.
THEN the ending sent me over the edge now I have to wait for Vipers book till 2025 I’m going to die..

The content warning says that the book is a tough read and I think it’s because of how many spelling and grammatical errors there were. Don’t get me wrong the story was good but when you have to read a sentence multiple times to figure out what it is supposed to say because words are missing from the sentence it takes away from the flow of the story. Either the author doesn’t have an editor/proofreader or they just don’t care.

Well, let's see how this book gets me all in my feels. After what happened to Cora, I hope Delilah and the guys get her back.

In Breaker we are finding out even more of the bull crap that Fallon put the guys through.

What is going on? Ug!!! They need to just tell Delilah so they can get Cora back! I'm so mad I want to go into the world and un-alive Rune so bad!!!

Um....Breaker! WTF do you think you are doing!? Why? Nothing better happen to you!

Zane is on my shit list now! He's about to take a cap through the book!

It's ABOUT TIME!!!! That whole chapter had me mad, sad, almost in tears, ready to un-alive a few people, then relief flooded through! Dayum! Chapter 23. IYKYK

Striker! I am so proud of you for finally admitting that!

Ya'll remember chapter 31 in Striker right!? Read chapter 33 in Breaker! 🥵🔥🥵🔥

YES!!!! He's finally getting what he deserves! You really are a good boy Breaker!

Um...what do you mean Striker!? Do you secretly want him? Chapter 43 IYKYK, that's all I have to say about that one. 😉

How can one chapter make you feel so many things as a reader? Author Magic. I was so happy that he finally caved and did what he did. It made me want, I want him to do that to me, until I got mad at him! How could he do that to her!? I get it, he's the most bad ass of the group, but still! (Me silently curing him while waiting in line to be next.)

Um....Um.....Um.................um.......................... EXCUESE ME! Did Reaper just do that, for Cora?

That was the biggest cliffy I have ever experienced! Ma'am!

OK, I'm done with the book, and I am speechless. That was AMAZING! I can't believe I have to wait until SUMMER of 2025 for Viper! And to find out what happens to Delilah and Cora!

This book had me in a chokehold. I’m so happy she wrote the scene with Cora and Reaper. I was crying with her. It made me like Reaper so much. I honestly wasn’t feeling him and Delilah since book 1. I did enjoy their scene together 🙃
I still don’t like Delilah’s character , for some reason I just don’t believe she really cares about them. Like how do you get to dictate if Reaper & Cora get to be together. She very much gives spoiled brat 😒Hopefully 🤞 something in Viper’s book changes that for me.
I can’t wait for the next book. I haven’t obsessed over a series like this since “Broken Bonds” by J.Bree.

Best book in the series so far, likely because Cora is my girl and we got a lot more of her POV in this book. The relationships developing between all 6 of them are so messy and intriguing. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for when book 4 released.

I'm really enjoying the story and am looking forward to the next one being released later this year, but there are quite a lot of spelling and grammar issues in this book that made it slightly more difficult to read

Explosive......

Another fave added to my list. Breaker, breaking all the rules to get to Cora freakin love it. She's coming into her own, but with that, a$$hat still breathing, Cora has to endure his hatred a little longer.
Thank you for writing the Cora and Reaper scene with Viper watching. I was already thinking my girl was going to resign herself to being taken back. I cheered Cora getting to see Reap's face and can't wait for her to give him he\\ for lying.
Please tell Clyde survives this!!! I loved him teaching Cora to shoot and her being a natural at it. I really hope she's the one to end the d3mon of her nightmares!!
Delilah went up a notch on my fave list. She put on her big girl panties to protect Reap and Striker's sanity. Now, it's time to become who he needs to be to reunite their family.
The darkness is right on par with the light.
Can't wait for Viper's book in 2025. Happy writing.

When is the next book coming out?! First of all, I knew it from book 1, Reaper has had it BAD for Delilah and it’s 100% the same way around. I’ve been praying since the last book (because I’m a romantic) that they end up in some weird way together, I lowkey think she’ll want monogamy with him. I didn’t really like that she had to beg to kiss him yet he gladly kissed Cora? Reapers book is the one I’m the most excited for, second to Strikers. I also think it’s nuts Fallon made them believe being gay/ bisexual is a sin?

Breaker you gorgeous gorgeous boy! You’re so fucking brutal like I didn’t realize how much you break things…it’s a little scary.
You can do no wrong in Father/Fallon’s eye, so I see

The end hurt me I cried for Delly, Breaker and Viper weren’t there….

I somehow missed that this series is longer than three books, which makes a lot more sense now because the story has started to feel very repetitive. The same conflicts and emotional beats are being dragged out, and it’s becoming frustrating rather than engaging.
Reaper, in particular, is wearing on my patience, and the dynamics within the group feel uneven. It’s hard to tell where everyone’s feelings lie, and at times it seems like some of the guys are more invested in Cora than others.
Unbalanced harems are a major pet peeve for me, and unfortunately this series is starting to lean heavily in that direction. I’m still invested enough to continue, but my enjoyment has definitely taken a hit.

Cora is resilient and a bad bitch. If she’s killed off I’m going to be pissed. Can we please stop getting the sentences that start with Delly and end with Cora like she can’t be mentioned or near the boys with out Delly involved.

Cora was put back in the line of fire. My girl better go back and put them in the doghouse. Bc the whole time she’s living thru hell Delly is peachy just like Cora’s life was growing up with the Gavin’s her whole life while Delly was living lavish while Cora got hurt. I need cora to have some animosity when she goes back to the Delly Funhouse. She better rake that fucker reaper thru the coals. I need her to give them the silent treatment for longer than takes viper to make her scream pls.

World’s Hottest 🌶️ Spicy

1. I really hope the paper book didn’t have so many errors. Kind of started driving me nuts, and that’s coming from someone who barely passed English.

*Caution Spoiler Alerts*
2. I really hope there’s more m/m/f play in the next one cause… damn. And I’m kind of hoping Reaper gets in on the D action.
3. Kind of disappointed in V for still not trusting for the mask. Next to S I really thought he’d be first to.
4. Not going to lie I’m really hoping for a soap opera plot twist and H is actually alive.
5. I understand the point of each book being from that person point of view, but I think the story would have flowed better with each guys pov. Still throughly enjoy the series, it’s just a little hard to follow the timelines at points.

✅ the forays into Breaker’s past and the storyline about Rune’s lodge kept me gripped

❌ the story needed more padding - it was quite repetitive with the characters just talking about how they miss each other and not really a lot happening.

✅ the spice did not disappoint

❌ lots of spelling and grammar errors. It felt like a rush job.

✅ superb ending - the author really knows how to finish a book with a bang! (No pun intended)

❌ Rune’s character… where do I start? I don’t understand why he wanted Cora back over his own daughter, even if his business was riding on selling her to his buddy. It just didn’t sit right. We haven’t had much to do with him as a character but everyone needs a redeeming feature.

✅ character development for the guys and Cora is fabulous.

❌ In one chapter Delilah recognised she had to murder her own dad and was angry enough to do it, but then at the end she was like “I’m not killing him.” Fair enough (it’s a big decision, girl) but as a reader I couldn’t see the process of her changing her mind, it just kinda happened 🤷🏻‍♀️

I will stick around for Viper’s story just because he is my joint favourite with Striker.

This book played with my emotions way too much but let's get into the characters!

🌻Delilah: In the previous book I couldn't exactly connect with her character but I definitely did in this book! She acknowledged what was needed to be done to save Cora and was on board. The ending had me wanting to jump in the book and protect her my damn self, because what she did was so brave.

🌻Cora: Still my number one girl and I'm glad I got more of her POV in this book but that also ended in my heart getting broken more and more. The things she endured in this book made me want to cry.

🌻Breaker: In my last review I said Striker was my favourite but Breaker has definitely took that spot. Him breaking every single rule for Cora was IT for me. The way he loves her so wholeheartedly made me extremely satisfied. The first scene of him joining the school was needed, it showed him being excited about joining not knowing just how he would turn out.

🌻Striker: He's so pookie and I love how patient he was with Delilah while training her. In the previous book Reaper said Striker would be the one to bring Delilah to them and in this book I see why. In the mist of him also falling apart, he tried being the best for the girls and guys as well. Him admitting *that* about Reaper was the cherry on the cake because the tension between them is immaculate🫦.

🌻Viper: Seeing Viper so vulnerable really made me excited for his book which is set to be next. Breaker says that he wonders if Viper goes to Striker at night so that he could hold him kind of sums of the person he is. Tough on the outside but on the inside he's just a human with trauma. I highly believe that he left to join Breaker and Cora, and again, they are my favourite trio.

🌻Reaper: I still don't know how to feel about him lol. I know his book is going to hurt me the most so I don't want to judge him before getting inside his head. But it's obvious he loves the guys so much and the girls too, he just sometimes sucks at showing it. The scene with him and Cora was surprising BUT lovely, I ate it the fuck up. I like to believe that he took off his mask for her as a show that he trusts her and would get her back because in the end actions are louder than words, right? Striker and Breaker showed their faces to Delilah first so I was pleased when Reaper showed his face to Cora first.

Fallon, Rune and Zane can all jump in a pool of lava😒. Not Clyde though, love him.

This series started off as a hehe haha let me read some smut moment last October, but honestly each book after Prey, just gets me more enthralled and more interested in the plot. Yes there’s so much spice but the plot is plotting. And Breaker was not the exception. His and Cora’s backstories break me a bit each time. If female rage was a person it would be Cora. She deserves so much after going through so much, I hope my girl makes it out and does what needs to be done. Breaker despite his name, is everything but that deep down. He was manipulated as a child into thinking he was a monster. Him remembering the only semblance of normalcy he had before he was sent to that “school”, gets me everytime. The fact none of the others had that, also break my empathetic self :(

I really love the different povs, it’s just blends and fits perfectly and it’s not as bad or confusing as it would seem like. We get a piece of each character in every book and I love it. My biggest gasp moment was when striker revealed who had found him, and who kissed him. My jaw dropped, and I can’t wait to see more of Reaper and Striker together (also with Cora).

I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for Viper’s book!!

Here’s some of my favorite quotes/inner monologues:

“When you survive hell together, the bond that’s created is more than a brotherhood. It’s a metal chain linking us together, sewn to our bones with the vile things we’ve survived and other people’s blood.”

“I’m so sick of breaking things. For once I’d love to fix something. A mistake. A heart. Right a wrong without violence or blood. My entire life I’ve been told there’s only dark, monstrous things inside me. That I’m just like my father.”

“The worst part about remembering are how the bad parts never leave you, and the good seems to fade all too quickly.”

“Rage, I’m boiling over with rage. Rage at everything they’ve done, and now I’m here, fighting for my fucking life and rights before men who refuse to acknowledge I’m human.”

“In order to change our lives, we have to cut out everything that feels safe. We have to be scared, terrified even. Because it’s that discomfort, that pain that makes us realize we need to change.”

“But right here, right now, I’ll gladly be all this terrible, hideous things for her. I’ll exact her revenge, brutally. I’ll be everything my father told me I was. Monstrous, ruinous. The breaker of things, of men. All for her.”

I want to give it like a 2.85. Because I knew what to expect from the two previous books, the grammar didn't jump at me as much as before. Repetition is still very much present throughout the book but has improved. I was able to enjoy this book more than the other two. I'm mostly intrigued in the backgrounds of the men and the love story between all of them. Honestly, it's what keeps me constantly checking Fanny's IG account. I want as much updates as possible on this series. I read and bought the first two books last year and bought Breaker as well but intentionally didn't read until Fanny announced the release date of the fourth book. I just finished reading it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Again, still has its grammar and repetition problems that need fixing.
I like the little twists that occurred throughout the book; they certainly took me by surprise.
Character-wise: I would give it 3.75/5. The backgrounds, the relationships, the character development has been a treat to discover.

Plot: 2/5. It needs some heavy work. The believability that these men have a FEW WEEKS to follow through on their plan (by this, I mean "training" Delilah) is just wonky at best.

Relationship MMCs with FMCs: 2/5. I'll be honest, I'm pissed that these women don't make these men WORK and BEG to get in their good graces. The betrayal towards Cora still stings. I'm all for dark grey MMCs but there need to be dark grey FMCs to counter them.

MMCs Romance: 4/5. Number one reason why I have fallen in love with this series. The pace of all of them coming together (😏) has been perfect.

FFCs Romance: Did not exist in this book. I miss them. I LOVED reading them in Book 2.

Someone better lock Miss Savage in a room with nothing but her laptop so she can write the next three books, because I need them like, yesterday. All of them.

I have absolutely no words. This book was everything. The utter pain hit me like a brick over and over again. Every one of these characters pulls at my heartstrings. Striker, oh my sweet, sweet boy, I felt every pain you felt. Breaker, or as I like to call him, gentle giant with such a big heart. Delilah, the woman you have become and will continue to grow into. My heart breaks for you. Viper, I can not wait for your story, because I KNOW you have one to tell and I know it will ruin me all over again. Dont even get me started on Reaper. That jagged piece of my heart is still too raw to put into words. And last but surely not least - sweet, sweet Cora... you are THE woman in this book for me. If i could, I'd bow to you if only to make you feel like you're in control.
Yes, this book is spice-heavy, as were the books before but this one... it had so much more depth and pain and development for each individual as well as for their dynamics with each other, it was quite beautiful to be honest. The gentleness these men hide behind their masks (quite literally)... my heart aches endlessly.

I have absolutely no words—this book was everything. The pain, the heartbreak, the raw emotion…it hit me like a brick again and again. Every single character tugged at my heart in a different way, and I felt every ounce of what they carried.

Striker—my sweet, sweet boy. I felt every shard of pain right alongside you.
Breaker—my gentle giant with a heart far too big for the world he lives in.
Delilah—the woman you’ve become, and the woman you’re still growing into…my heart aches for you in the best and worst ways.
Viper—I know your story is coming, and I’m certain it’s going to destroy me all over again.
Reaper—I can barely talk about you; the wound you left is still too raw to touch.
And Cora—sweet, sweet Cora…you are the woman of this book for me. If I could bow at your feet just to give you a moment of control, I would.

Yes, the spice is heavy—just like in the previous books—but this installment offers so much more. More depth, more pain, more growth. Each character evolves in powerful, heartbreaking ways, and the dynamics between them deepen into something truly captivating. The tenderness these men hide behind their masks—literally and emotionally—is devastatingly beautiful.

My heart aches endlessly, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

In the midst of our girls experiencing their worlds being twisted by men and weak promises, our kidnappers rehash their trauma and expand on their sexual proclivities. As in, they’re opening their eyes to how bi sexual they actually are.

There’s tons of trauma bonding, and self deprecating. Delilah is learning her protected bubble was just nice scented, film soap screens. Cora is acting like a strong sassy queen while proving she would not be final girl material and would need to call the fire department to change out her smoke alarms. Our two girlys are similar in that aspect of presenting a concrete exterior but when worn down, all the softness are exposed. Sadly we aren’t learning that we can trust these men.

Reaper x Striker has tension brewing. Striker x Viper has come (haha) to a silent understanding. Striker x Breaker was missed. Breaker x Viper need to do couples counseling. Honestly. They’re too grown and share too many broken edges to not have this discussion forever ago.

I’m thoroughly enjoying the story and the development of all the characters. So heavily invested in where this goes and Fanny Lee writes a spicy scene like no other author. Each books reveals a little more about the 4 men who took Cora And Delilah into their world. Breakers story was heart breaking but his love for Cora was so very sweet to explore. Viper is clearly the next subject of her fourth book in this series but I’m very much waiting for the revelation of who Reaper is annd what he’s been through. Particularly after that little nugget of a story she gave us toward the end of Breaker.

One note tho. I have never seen more spelling mistakes before. I laughed with each one I observed. It didn’t distract from the story and I appreciate this book was probably given to an editor in haste for a rapid publishing. Just something to be aware of Fanny Lee but keep these books coming.
And an audiobook version of these would be 🥵

I am absolutely in love with this series. This is the 3rd book and it was fantastic.

This book focuses on Breaker and his story. But it does show us into the other characters world too. Cora really comes into her own in this book and we see just what a badass she is. And the tension that is growing between Reaper and Delilah is off the charts. And I'm soooo here for it. The audio for this book is amazing. All 5 narrators do such a great job bringing the book to life. I can't wait to get to read the next book which I believe will be Viper's story.

I have recommended this series to everyone I know. If you love dark romance like I love dark romance and the why chose troupe, and masked men you need to start this Right Away! Prey is book 1, Striker book 2, Breaker. Check TW! Spice level 5 chili peppers.

Must read Prey and Striker first, as each book follows straight from where the previous book left off.

Expect:
⚫️ MM/MF/MMF encounters
⚫️ Morally grey, masked men
⚫️ Lots of spice
⚫️ Found family
⚫️ Revenge arc

In this book we learned more about one of the four men of the group - Breaker.

Sometimes I struggle with flashbacks throughout books, but the ones throughout Breaker (and Striker) all have meaning and help to enhance our understanding of the title character.

I also really enjoyed learning more about Clyde’s character and his involvement, and it really shows how much he cares about the girls.

I enjoy the writing style across the whole series, and the pacing is great. Sometimes the spicy scenes did go on for a little long, but I’m not complaining!

The next book in the series, Viper is out on 12/12/2025.

6 stars!!! This is one of the best books I have read in a while. The depth of these characters is unlike anything I have ever read in a dark romance books. I am completely in love with striker, viper, reaper and breaker equally. These men are portrayed to be monsters, but once you find out the truth behind their masks, your heart will break ten fold. These men have suffered through more pain than any characters I have read about before; and they protect Delilah and Cora to their own detriment. And the story!!! What an incredibly captivating storyline that made me feel like I was living through this ‘mission’ with them. I cannot wait to see how the rest of the mission plays out in the final two books. I need Viper to come out now!!!!!

I don't know how Fanny does it but this series is getting better and better with each book. The connection I've felt to these characters is insane! These men are infuriating and lovable all at the same time and this book made me feel every emotion under the sun. Their story is hot and sexy, just as much as it is tragic and difficult. Every one of these characters has been through so much but this time Cora and Breaker truly pulled at my heartstrings. Seeing the abuse they went through honestly made me cry. And Deli... her growth has been exponential and I can't wait to see the person she becomes in the next book. I can't get enough of this series and these characters.
