El Credo de Nicea: Explicado con sencillez

Cuando a los cristianos nos preguntan acerca de Dios, lo más sencillo que podemos responder se resume en que es Padre, Hijo y Espíritu. Dios es uno, pero también plural. La oración del Credo es una síntesis de la fe en este Dios trino. Dos son sus versiones más conocidas: el Credo apostólico y el Credo niceno. Este último es una versión ampliada con fórmulas que consensuaron los concilios ecuménicos en el siglo IV y contiene clarificaciones esenciales que siguen siendo imprescindibles. El propósito de este libro consiste en explicar con sencillez, pero también con rigor, cada artículo del Credo, mostrando su conexión con las experiencias creyentes sobre las que se apoyan y prestando especial atención a la Sagrada Escritura.

About the author

Alberto de Mingo Kaminouchi was born in Hiroshima (Japan) in 1964, of a Japanese mother and Spanish father. A redemptorist missionary, he studied Theology at the Pontifical University of Salamanca. He was ordained a priest in 1993. He graduated in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute (Rome) and obtained a PhD in Biblical Theology at the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley (California).

He has been professor and director of the Higher Institute of Moral Sciences (Madrid) and he currently holds teaching positions both at Saint Louis University (Madrid) and at the Alfonsian Academy (Rome).

His publications include: '"But it is not so among you." Echoes of power in Mk 10.32-45' (Bloomsbury 2003), 'Symbols of Salvation. Redemption, victory, sacrifice" (Sígueme 2007) and 'Introduction to Christian ethics' (Sígueme 2015). He is the author of numerous academic articles and director of the magazine "Moralia".
